If that's their only S3 payment address (which I'm not sure about) https://blockchain.info/address/1QB8Ds5KbGYBLQa5RyDQ2sVUeSKWf7qgkZ this would mean ~50k S3's will hit the network in the next couple of days, that's ~24PH or roughly 19% of the current network if I'm not mistaken.

Distributed Hashpower I might add. Thanks Bitmain for selling to the small man's operations.
Your napkin maths is seriously flawed. It would be around 10PH IF all the money came from S3 sales, which it didn´t.

There was a considerable amount of funds in that wallet before S3 sales opend.

there was ~35k BTC coming to the wallet, divided by miner price ~0.75BTC makes ~50k miners which have half TH each, makes ~~25PH, no?

But of course it might be that there has been money on that address from sales of other miners...
Are you blind? There is less than 17K bitcoins in that wallet, and not even all of these came from S3 sales.

Can you read? I said it might be that there is money sent to that address for buying other miners in the past.
Why don't you do something meaningful and add up the S3 sales?

Does anybody know if the S3 still supports power cable connection via screw terminal? Or does anybody know a cheap supplier for pci-e cables?

Does anybody know the details of the FBI auction?
Will we get to know the price the BTC are sold for? How long after winning does the highest bidder have to wait to get the private key? etc?

Fehlt nur noch, dass der Preis nachzieht.

Hi, would be great if you could always add who offers the best $/Ghs rate of in-hand hardware.

What about all the Chinese poping up like Garden BTC or Dragon Miner or whatnot?

http://www.medizinfuchs.de/versandapotheken.html

Great news. Loving that you distribute your hardware to "small" miners instead of renting helicopter hangars in cheap power locations as others do  Roll Eyes

Bin schon sehr gespannt.

Their "mass of BTC profit" isn't from their pool.  Their pool costs them money, it makes them nothing.  It has, from day 1, made absolutely no economic sense for their pool to exist at all.  Their private farm is as large or larger than any other pool as is, so the argument of letting others join them to reduce their variance is moot.  They're too large for variance to make an impact on their monthly revenues.  They're paying to run servers for people for nothing, unless they're skimming from the top.

Who knows what their business model is. I am certain it's not just pure altruism.
We can only hope it's marketing for fooling idiots into "buying hardware" on cex.io....
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 08, 2014, 11:47:44 PM
light blue uptrend indeed invalidated. We are on the new dark blue uptrend. We followed the downtrend for a brief moment, but I think we will try to keep the exchange rate in the "black band". Thoughts?

Well, I'm long from $638 and added a bit of margin long at $645... so I'm certainly hoping you are right. I've been expecting a breakout back to the $680 zone for a couple days now.

plus500.com short LTC ..I am

Which timeframe does plus500 allow on cryptocurrencies now?

Answer:

Warning! - Litecoin value is extremely volatile. Expires daily!

I really don't see the sense in that...

Once the whale loses his bottle expect a free fall ..unless u want to try bitfinex

Warning : there price movements are very suspect compared to the real market ...i.e they would have price bounces upto 1.85+ on a totally flat market of 1.72

Not as if they would ever manipulate a market to take pplz shorts out or anything like that ... lolz

Hey.... This are the honorable financial people of London! They would never do such a thing.
