1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is more risky. Sport or casino bets ? on: August 08, 2017, 06:28:42 PM
Betting from a casino is more risky and profitable if money is at your disposal because you can easily apply different gambling strategies like martingale, Fibonacci or any other strategy and get away with huge profits within a short time while sports on the other hand is less risky, fun to bet on and you get to watch the game while its been played and is also less profitable gambling forms.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 08, 2017, 12:42:02 PM
Good and bad coins need to coexist to bring balance and differentiate them by profitable and non profitable coins

i love Altcoin/Bitcoins because it has a great value for our country.
i hate it because it is hard to earn.

Anything that is scarce to find has good value, had it been easy to get or mine coins that value we all chasing would not have existed
1183  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchange and wallet to use? on: August 08, 2017, 11:52:40 AM
Hi, newbie here and I'd really appreciate any answers.

I've been reading like mad and just have some fundamental questions:
1) What exchange do you use?
bittrex, yobit , livecoin, cryptopia, etherdelta
On that exchange, do you buy with market or limit orders?
Use both market and limit orders depending on a cryptocoins price
2) What wallet do you use? I am interested in a paper wallet that can hold multiple kinds of coins, not just bitcoin.

And I think that's about it. Thanks!
For ethereum ERC20 standard tokens i use https://www.myetherwallet.com
1184  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN DOWN OR HIGH ????? on: August 08, 2017, 11:29:47 AM
Bitcoin value will keep rising because demand is there and the media are now taking bitcoin serious and giving it more coverage as they thought it was a failed project which has proved them wrong. As more people look for ways to have total control of their money bitcoin has come up top which has allowed bitcoin to keep growing and should be a reason to buy now as you never know when it will rally to an atm
1185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: SegWit Activation Tomorrow 8th August 19:50 UCT on: August 08, 2017, 06:53:02 AM
Are you excited?
The price says it all, people are excited as can be seen from the current prices which have pushed its value to an all time high in the same time frame as SegWit Activation, seems segwit isn't freaking people out as the chain split did because segwit is something that has been tested on a different crypto (litecoin) and works fine with no problems. Looks like we ready to go to the moon 🚀.

1187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 07, 2017, 06:15:38 PM
who among you here heard bitcoin back in 2009 and 2010?
Never heard about it at the time, just wish i did  Cry

I was one of the people who is very skeptical about it and I really regret it. Sad I missed the best opportunity for a lifetime.
This must really haunt you because you had the opportunity for two freaking years to get on the bitcoin boat when coins were cheap to buy...i bet you can do anything to go back in time to correct  this missed opportunity
1188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto will ever come out from his hood? on: August 07, 2017, 05:48:49 PM
His work here is already done and if he chooses to come out of the hood it will have to be another pseudonymous name to protect himself.
Another reason I find his vanishing to be valid is bitcoin is built on a decentralized system which is currently functioning well and i do not think we need him to save us out of any crypto trouble.

1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 05, 2017, 08:48:50 AM
First, I will keep my capital. Then I will save the rest for future purposes. If it is a large amount of winning then maybe I will share some but if it is not then its just only for my own expenses.

A wise gambler, thinking about it for future keeps is one of a very nice decision. Before when I just gamble whenever I want. I don't do this act, as I'm thinking all the time that I can get it again when I gamble anyway. But now, every time I win I had to do it all the time. Keeping an amount for the profit while other amount is for budgeting.

A gambler will always gamble. So any winnings he get he would surely use it to gamble again. That is why there is no rich gambler. There is a rich at first and poor in the end gambler. People who have a lot of money gamble their money but since they are rich it doesn't deplete pretty fast, however in time they will lose everything in gambling, that is for sure.

That's why they/we are called gamblers. Because we do gamble all the time as the time goes by we are gambling base on what we want. And you have to give always a good decision on the things you do so that you won't be having a bad idea of using your winnings into such things that is not going to help you grow.
Exactly! In spite us wanting to continue gambling we should grow into people who know how to manage our money/winnings to avoid losing everything, besides when one gambles for a long time knowing when to withdraw becomes our ABC's
1191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin should i buy? on: August 05, 2017, 08:08:13 AM
What altcoin should i buy i'm searching 10 coins to invest in total 1 bitcoin in and in 1 month i want to cashout 10 Bitcoin!
Diversifying your investments is a good strategy to minimize on any possible losses but 10 coins is high risk and i do not see all coins retaining that much of a profit, if you can spot out a good coin why not go all in on it Huh saves you the headaches.

What coin is promising enough?
Coins already on the market BTC,ETC,LTC should be fine and you could try the ICO market as an early investor for a bonus which will directly increase your profit
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Most profitable coin to mine? on: August 04, 2017, 07:40:50 PM

1194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY BCC PRICE KEEPS INCREASING on: August 04, 2017, 12:20:27 PM
I am saddened by how the price dropped when I checked on bittrex. I left my bcc expecting something good but with what is currently happening, I think I should sell before they open deposits.
I am learning a lot from here.
looks like price was high and stable for a little while when exchanges were not able to allow its users to withdraw or trade their bitcoin cash for other assets but now that there is no one to stop them traders keep dumping these coins and if my calculations are correct BCH has lost over $100 in this show time frame.
1195  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: August 04, 2017, 11:57:34 AM
Though difficult but I'm sure there will be coins that can replace bitcoin, I'm sure that someday there will be a country that will make coins and legalized so that it can be used en masse country and it is likely to beat bitcoin.
if your talk of a single country backing its own cryptocoin i do not think this will be possible for it to take on bitcoin which is backed by a world wide community, besides other countries might  see this as a race of financial muscle and wouldn't sign in on this. For now bitcoin will keep leading the pack as we await for more innovations to give bitcoin a good run.
1196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Better investement right now, bitcoins or Altcoins. on: August 04, 2017, 11:45:43 AM
If you considering a cryptocurrency that is stable to invest in i would recommend bitcoin but if you do mind taking a chance with some altcoins you could get back better profits than bitcoin which will depend on how well the project has been marketed and generally if the project has a good team to manage it
1197  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-08-03]University of Oxford Launches Fintech and Blockchain Programme on: August 04, 2017, 10:26:09 AM
Great news we need more recognized institutions to adopt the blockchain technology for other countries/institutions to follow suit, but the only downside of the rapidly changing technology is some jobs will be phased out along the way all in the bid of improving productivity, efficiency and profits.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: August 04, 2017, 06:30:35 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?
A person can only gamble with another persons money if they are new to the game and are blinded to know that the house always wins which makes one go up against it or simply because they are greedy and do not care about what the owner of the funds would think about them...Frankly speaking lets always treat gambling as an entertainment and not a profit venture.
1199  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Making a living from signature campaigns, is it possible? on: August 03, 2017, 11:26:38 PM
Lets not think of signature campaigns as a job we can live on because these will not always be there and once projects find their feet they will always cut off this type of marketing and thats why i do not think its possible to live off sigs

but even if you can't make a living for sig campaigns , it's still nice to get some extra money and sometimes referrals for doing things that you will do anyways
Sigs are without doubt good incentives to keep people chatting on the forum
1200  Economy / Economics / Re: What must happen so that cryptocurrencies are less volatile? on: August 03, 2017, 08:16:51 PM
As far as i Know the main cause of volatility is luck of confidence in a cryptocurrency, if investors or a community dont have it that translates into volatility and the only way to have a stable crypto market is if a project has investors with strong hands and and community isnt receiving fud to make it panic
