Soon enough BitPay will introduce online wallets for customers
Good news for bitcoin adoption for commoners, many who wouldn't want to bother with a regular wallet. Bitpay could really take off.

honestly, I'm sick of threads like this.
what's the point of talking about something so ridiculous?
well typical speculation from people in the speculation sub-forum.

It can happen fairly easily, after being adjusted for inflation is another matter.

I've never liked using Gox because of all their send me your birth records BS. Just do a Bank Wire direct to your BTC-e account and then buy btc. You could also use Liberty Reserve.
BTC-e is in the Republic of Bulgaria so I'm pretty sure they don't give a shit what the US gov does. LOL
Huh? You sure about that direct bank wire thing? Last time I checked bank wire was a WITHDRAWAL method, not a deposit method. Maybe they don't any more. It's still a funding option on the website. Nah. You may want to check that again. Just to be clear, we are talking about US Dollars, correct? If so, you got: Interkassa- The chick on the website is cute but this service is clearly not intended for us dumb Americans Perfect Money- E currency with some high fees (they did lower them though) Bitinstant- LOL @ this option. Why do they even tease people with this? Bitinstant does not send USD to BTC-e. Check their site. OKPay- Coming back soon maybe? They said this week now it's next week. Anyway, moving away from our discussion, I think BTC-e is pretty safe from the bullshit. Getting USD on is an amazing feat if you can pull it off and getting USD off will probably cost you your left pinky finger by the time all of the fees and exchange rates take turns spanking you. LOL, very funny, but true.

I think he prove a very big bug in the entire ripple system.
If anyone can make those imaginary BTC or any other currency in the ripple system, and he sends that fake currency to alot of persons..
User 1, Fake bitcoin (or any currency) owner try to buy something paying with bitcoins in ripple, starts a topic or something, and send the fake BTC first. User 2, receives the fake BTC and send the item who was selling (LTC, ripples, USD,etc) then he realizes that he cant trade his BTC anywhere, because its fake and got scammed.
That's not a bug, but exactly how the ripple system is supposed to work. It's not Fake or real bitcoin, it's merely an IOU for a bitcoin.

plus500 is not dealing with bitcoins. They just allow to trade and speculate about the mtgox price. So, it does not impact the price, since it does create any order on the market.
But what happens if the market price is falling and most of its customers are shorting bitcoins? The broker will obviously lose a lot of money ... Probably ban some high profitable accounts, invoking their TOS. Also close the possibility of trading during high volatibility market. I don't know exactly which mechanisms they are using, if they hedge the positions or not, I think that it is somehow balanced between bull/bear, and they can support some downsprings. If they cover their position all the above is nonsense.

There is very serious legal trouble, which is why we have some of the best lawyers. OK, please, please give us the name of just one of your many lawyers. I have some questions for him/her. We have to comply with government regulations, AML laws, etc. That is the stupidest things you have ever written, and that is saying something considering the number of stupid things you have written. exactly

The chain of arguments is getting too complicated, lets me "streamline it": I am forming a company (Vircurex Ltx?) which will acquire the current trading platform and its business from its current owner (for 1500BTC). I am offering to sell 30% of the company shares to the public (Face value being sold 3375BTC). 70% I will be holding. For the first one year, I will not be collecting any dividends, all of those go to the 30% shareholders.
Here's why those people posting in this thread are confused with what you're saying. In one line you say (Vircurex Ltx?) will acquire the business from the current owner(for 1500BTC), which would mean that at this point you no longer own it, so you would not get to sell 30%. What it should say is that you're forming (Vircurex Ltx?), then selling a 30% stake in it. Simple enough.
