1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: I gambled and lost on: August 01, 2013, 02:41:42 PM
Or for profit, but only if you can actually make one.  There is no way of doing that at SatoshiDice and all its clones.  The degenerates and the blockchain just take a hammering, the degenerates from losing and the blockchain from being spammed with worthless dust transactions.

Whenever you gamble on SD or a clone, you GIVE THEM your BTC.
Keep doing that, and they'll hold 90% of the coins, making them useless.

Just buy stuff with your BTC instead of your $, please.

He's right, try Sports betting or a Predictions market gambling.  Would be better off.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to Explode the Price of Bitcoin OVERNIGHT! on: August 01, 2013, 11:31:55 AM
Think some people with a lot of BTC sell regularly for a little bit of spending money, same thing with those earning in BTC.
1043  Economy / Securities / Re: Cryptostocks.com--SENIGMA--20%APR Paying monthly-- on: August 01, 2013, 11:28:05 AM
That's still pretty low for a BTC related security unless you can prove little to no risk.
1044  Economy / Marketplace / Re: CoinChat's 10 BTC referral contest! Refer the most to win. Ends Aug 1st. on: August 01, 2013, 11:17:39 AM

1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Big Bitcoin Price Increase on: August 01, 2013, 11:14:05 AM
So how do you interpret that? Other than mtgox becoming filthy rich?

Is anyone else still hoping Mt. Gox get's replaced one day?
At any rate I think by this time next year we will have seen prices well over $300 and holding.

1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FTC dead? on: August 01, 2013, 10:58:21 AM
I personally never got the hype.

I coin which was sold on being 4x LTC (WOW!) and was insanely instamined... Coooool  Cool

I think it had it's moment of hype kinda like Ripple did.  Saw all the threads of people trying to buy it, think that lasted a week or two.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FTC dead? on: August 01, 2013, 10:56:16 AM

It's more alive than ever before Smiley

That's interesting.  Is there a site that shows the top 10 coins by network speed?  I might've seen one one time, but can't remember for sure.
1051  Economy / Services / Re: Get up to 0.30 BTC a month for your signature! on: August 01, 2013, 10:54:17 AM
2,000 is a lot of posts is there really people posting that much?
No  Grin
it's just marketing.

Think you're right, it does allow him to advertise up to .30 BTC, which couldn't hurt.
1052  Other / Off-topic / Re: gladoscc (TradeFortress) spit this out in the Just-Dice chat on: August 01, 2013, 10:50:15 AM
I think he has a bot running on there or had at one time.  They tend to mess up also, so could be that.
1053  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: August 01, 2013, 10:49:01 AM
I think I've seen where they put up there pics and beg for BTC.  I wonder what the ratio of guys/gals w/ Bitcoin is.
1054  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: August 01, 2013, 10:40:04 AM
I wonder how high AsicMiner would've reached if the competition hadn't really heated up as it did?
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: August 01, 2013, 10:38:06 AM
goat quote from memory when he arrived on JD. I'm not a whale, I don't gamble very much...

goat lost $20,000 + which is a shame, but that did pay for my dinner which was kind of him Tongue

$20,000 is a decent bit.  It never looks like much when expressed as bitcoin like in that snapshot, till you convert it to fiat.

1057  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .4 BTC loan on: August 01, 2013, 10:13:56 AM
Some dude needs 0.4 BTC and there are 19 pages on this thread  Cheesy
I'm bumping it in the hopes of making it 119 pages.
You don't understand... the likes of Joey could bring the end of internet poker.

Wow, I would probably read the Cliff notes, but not sorting through this whole thing about a loan.
1058  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: USB Bitcoin Miner? on: August 01, 2013, 10:08:08 AM
You CAN get ROI, It's just going to take OVER A YEAR to get it. It's nice to get one for a fun hobby if you don't expect a fast ROI. If you want a 6 month ROI I don't know of any existing products that provide that outside of BFL ASICS, and Good luck getting one of those any time soon.

Well it depends on how fast the difficulty explodes and what he pays, may not be able to get it back.
