1221  Economy / Speculation / Re: Effects of the alt-coin hype on Bitcoin on: May 12, 2013, 01:08:10 AM
Seems like every 5th member wants their own coin now.
1222  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How one becomes a Full Member? on: May 12, 2013, 12:25:48 AM
It seems that there are several membership levels, starting from Newbie, Jr. Member, Full Member, Sr. Member, etc.

Can someone explain here what conditions one must meet to be "promoted" to these?

It's all part of the plan.
1223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Membergroups; or: Why do some users get colored coins under their names? on: May 12, 2013, 12:24:44 AM

1227  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: BTCPak - Exchange your Bitcoins for MP [$100, $250, $500 and $1000 MPs] on: May 11, 2013, 06:11:22 PM
Please stand by.  We should be back up and running in a short period of time.

I appreciate your patience.

Dan

I was thinking of giving this a try and tried to check how much the fees might be, but i see you are restocking or updating so the site doesn't work.  Seems like a good idea.  Would recommend updating the website with current info(restocking, updating, etc.), it was unclear to me why it wasn't working till i read this post, and looks like some of the other user thought it was down.  Also could modify title and original post of this thread when necessary if possible.
1228  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: AMD earnings drop on: May 11, 2013, 05:54:32 PM
I think that bitcoins are making a difference on the earnings probably in at least the millions of dollars range, though it would be interesting to see how they recover. I think that they should make a Asic for bitcoin mining thats reliable then they could hopefully make some extra money:). Or mine bitcoins on all the graphics cards running in their testing centers.

They weren't actually making cards aimed at bitcoin mining, so it's doubtfull they would get into Asics.

1231  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Interest check: Take over my business on: May 11, 2013, 04:25:08 PM
Feedback is impressive.  How much are you thinking of asking?
1232  Economy / Goods / Re: Prevention is better than a cure. Please escrow. on: May 11, 2013, 04:21:42 PM
+1 Very good idea to use escrow.  Probably a good percentage of the recent new users are scammers, as well as some of the non-recent users.
1233  Economy / Services / Re: Rent My Signature Space!!! (Hero Member) on: May 11, 2013, 04:17:20 PM

Renting out my signature space to decent offers.

I will NOT rent my signature space for just anything, I must review and approve the content first, so don't bother making me an offer to rent my signature space to promote your scam coin/service/goods.

I see you already have a scam coin or two in there(w/address)  Tongue

1235  Economy / Services / Re: Girlfriend and I willing to produce personal picture sets or videos for btc on: May 11, 2013, 04:10:38 PM
Pics for this to be believable.
1236  Economy / Services / Re: Let me mine for you! on: May 11, 2013, 04:07:12 PM
Heres the deal. I have 2 systems that can support 3 cards each. I have heavily discounted power where I live. Currently have 4 slots available.

I'd like to offer my services to mine for someone and split the coins 50/50. Card(s) are your property to be returned when you chose at your expense(deducted in coin).

Alternative plan is 75/25 until card is paid for and it then becomes my property. I'll pay a 15% royalty on anything the card(s) mine there after for a period of 1 year.

Cards can be new or used. We can determine their value based on model, age and condition before hand.

Workers will be set up on the pool of your choosing with an account you can view at any time. Payout will be set at a mutually decided rate to a wallet in my possession from which you will be sent your share when it reaches whatever level you desire.

I will mine the coin of your choice.

System Info:
1. Biostar Z77XE4 with 2500k and 850w Gold psu.
2. Gigabyte z68a-d3h-b3 with g860 and 650 Bronze psu
I will upgrade PSUs as needed.

I am willing to skype and provide personal info(copy of ID, phone #, home address etc..) to any1 who takes advantage of my service.

Some background info:
I am located in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
Im a 32yr old father of 2.
I work on call for Canada Post(can show ID).
I am a huge geek and understand computers and tech quite well.
I mine for fun with a 6870 and love it. Makes me about 1 LTC a day.
I currently have one "customer" for my service. That customer being my brother who is supplying 2x7950s.
100% feedback on HWC and eBay under same name.(igot6strings)

PM or post here for more info or if you have any questions.

I'm interested, so the customers will provide money for the graphics cards, but not the other hardware for the rig? Is it possible to sell this service on eBay somehow(or would you be willing to)?
1237  Economy / Services / Re: Anonymous refillable virtual visa cards(1d/3m/1y lifetime) for BTC/LTC/NVC on: May 11, 2013, 04:02:41 PM
What is meant by 1 day / 3 month lifetime/ or lifetime?
1238  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: BitBet.us, how much does it pay? on: May 11, 2013, 03:47:05 PM
I'm still confused. It would be more noobs friendly if I could see a ratio bet/win. Like if you bet 1BTC now then you win x bitcoin.

I think this bet is a lock : http://bitbet.us/bet/265/bfl-will-deliver-asic-devices-before-april-1st/

But I don't want to risk a large amount of bitcoin to win some dust so I will pass.

The problem is how much you win can change greatly depending on future bets that are placed.

1240  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What are Some Good Ways To Earn (Mostly) Passive Income With Bitcoins? on: May 11, 2013, 03:22:34 PM
Various lenders, and exchanges pay interest.  Also investing in companies that pay dividends if you can safely.  Both have risks associated with them
