Ive seen something like this before at some of the alternative auction sites. Not sure if they're still around.

It's pretty close already, price just seems to fluctuate a lot right now though.

There are a few possibilities:
1) Play poker well. This is probably the most popular way, and thousands of people make a significant income just playing poker (keep in mind, this means millions are probably losing).
2) Sports betting. Some players are able to be profitable long-term here. I don't really know much about it.
3) Abuse casino promotions. Although this isn't really winning from gambling and is more just winning free money and trying not to lose it all.
4) Develop an advantage in a casino game. There are a few ways to do this: count cards, learn how to manipulate dice in craps, etc. This is definitely the hardest way.
Good luck!
Would say that 2 could include any events betting, sports is the most popular type.

Sorry to spoil the party - in this thread, I'm still going to use AM :-P I have no interest in ASICMiner, old, slow, boring, high power consumption, ASIC technology (lol)
The technology isn't really the point, we all know ACTM's technology is (will be) superior. The fact remains, however, that ASICMiner is already on the market, and you will only confuse people if you use their abbreviation when referring to ACTM. How much more efficient is the Active mining hardware reported to be? Also isn't AsicMiner working on better hardware as well?

This is a good idea, I think with advertisers paying users by their post count it was inevitable.

Thought I would make a thread to post your picks on Predictious here, if anyone else is aware of the site that is? I'll start 'Business:Business Exchanges:Mtgox not operating July 31,2013' I think this is very unlikely to occur.
Edit: Entertainment:Top Grossing Movie Q3 2013 This is a strange category because of some of the entries. Some of those movies stand a 1/million chance of winning at best.

I agree. Is the site operator still going through with this? Seems quiet.
Yes, sorry about this, we forgot to follow up on this thread. We update the site daily. If you have urgent questions, you can also ask here. No problem. This thread or another 'Official' one on here could be very helpful in gaining you customers since you're a BTC business. Some sites put a link to their thread on their website also.

Would like to see some more events. Site seems to be lacking in major sporting events in particular, which are more likely to see some action, especially around game day.

Thank you for the replies and information. I have updated the list a bit, and will look at the new sites mentioned.

Why not make your own chat website?

I've been waiting for this, and this site looks great. However: 7.0 FEES 7.1 Pixode charges a transaction fee for each trade on Predictious. No shit. I've been looking everywhere to try and find how big the fee is without success. Could you clarify this? Secondly, I'm interested in market data for your bets. Mostly I'm just missing the market depth, but trading history and such would be really nice to have as well. I agree. Is the site operator still going through with this? Seems quiet.

Alternativeto.net in theory is a great tool. Of cours like all web-votings it is biased not towards the best apps but to the oldest and best established apps which bothers me with my other project FluxCards. For Bitcoin it looks better thogh. Some 30 votes needed to get on top of PayPal: http://alternativeto.net/software/bitcoin/ Good idea. How long ago was BTC added? Now needs 24 more likes.

Trade history would be useful also, Intrade had a chart showing price over time and volume.

I click create an account and it goes to google. How do I create an account without using google?
It would appear as though that's the only option right now. Hopefully that changes soon.

Our Bitcoin prediction market Predictious, is launching today in the afternoon (pacific time). We aim to provide a replacement for InTrade, using Bitcoin. We will post more information at the time of launch. We thank everybody who participated to the preview. Feel free to post questions or feedback here. Why does it not show the competing bids, and quantity available? 2FA would be nice also.
