And that is why many people are thinking that bitcoin is now scam for it is being used by the people who have bad intentions. Just like scamming by using its reversible transaction then that is really an advantage for them and those people who are not aware of this will be scammed. So they are thinking that they are a victim of scam held by paypal.

I have had an issue with Paypal and while I was trying to look for a solution on the internet, I came across this website ( https://www.consumeraffairs.com/online/paypal_02.html) where everybody is complaining about Paypal. Most of the complains were actually similar to the one that I have. I thought Paypal is a credible company but now I have started feeling worried about my funds stuck in the accounts. PayPal is not scam the reason that's why you calling PayPal is scam is because some of people of here is there account get locked, this two possibilities that your account got locked first you violated the PayPal rules second you violated the PayPal rules! I've been using PayPal for over years now to buy some items in online store but I did not get any problem.

This is the first time i see something against paypal reputation, something they are its honest, they follow each rule from each country, that make them the example to follow, even with huge fees, paypal has build their image, sure the chargeback and frozen funds they sometimes does makes the most panic but as long you dont break the rules you will be fine.
Thats right. Paypal is not a scam maybe aome users do scamming but the last time I used paypal transactions went well unfortunately the last time I ised it is last Feb so I dont know the issues on freezing or being hacked. Anyway if anything happens I know there is still a contct line in paypal that can report suspicious transactions.

bitcoin's fast transaction is still beaten by paypal because they doesn't need any confirmation to send the money while bitcoin does and it take about 15 minutes average. and it's indeed that paypal's verification sometimes making their users confused their asses and really complicated

I think 10 minutes max of waiting is worth choosing over having a feature that allows the people you transacted with to get their money back. There's also the mysterious feature of Paypal that freezes your account for 180 days. Let's see how convenient is waiting for 180 days. Combined all the waiting that you had in your bitcoin transactions, it wouldn't even sum up to 180 days even if we assume that you experienced the days that you had to wait before the transaction gets confirmed.

I wish 10 minutes would not really turn into a few days in the future as you seem to say yourself. And your transaction may just get dropped from the mempool without confirmation at all, and you will be waiting in vain. I'm not going to say that transacting through PayPal is better or anything, but Bitcoin transactions may soon get risky too, in a sense, if things don't change for the better.

Yes I agree, Paypal is been here for a quite long time and its reputation has been good ever since. Yes there are some users who are not satisfied with paypal and so as with other big companies.. definitely every business and company has its own bad sides coming from customers but that's the thing is for as long as they help out their customers definitely it would heal the issue.

It isn't an outright scam but is most certainly has, or at least had, incredibly unfair business practices. Their cheap reason is because they get scammed a lot but even Visa or Mastercard who probably have the most fraud don't have the same (lack of) ethics PP does.
I still own a paypal account but have not used it for years after a particular incident where I was labelled a scammer on forums because my account was frozen just as I was paying for a service. It took weeks to resolve, and each new login or activity required me to send countless documents and information plus cost me so much in phone bills trying to deal with customer service, I just gave up.

What unfair business practices are you referring to? I've never seen them take any action that wasn't warranted. People try to use Paypal to scam all the time, and PP has had to develop measures to protect themselves. But anyone using the service within the terms of service is generally not have problems. Anyone attempting to abuse Visa or Mastercard in the same way would face the same repercussions. Visa and Mastercard also have a lot more leverage with consumers, in that they can negatively affect your credit score, whereas Paypal, which doesn't deal with credit, cannot and has to be more proactive to head off fraud.

I've also, though, never tried to use it for any nefarious purposes, so there's been no reason for them to ever suspend my account or confiscate funds.

Visa and Mastercard also have a lot more leverage with consumers, in that they can negatively affect your credit score, whereas Paypal, which doesn't deal with credit, cannot and has to be more proactive to head off fraud. I mentioned one example in my case: I wanted to pay for a creative design service it was a very simple job and it was delivered to me. I had a VERIFIED account, linked to my personal bank account, no limits and all that nonsense I had to send so many documents. I click send payment and account locked. They could never give a reason why other than it being standard practice for security and so on. Fine, never mind, apology accepted but I asked them to at least contact the seller to inform him that I wasn't scamming him. They couldn't do that. I had no other way to pay the person as he only wanted paypal. My reputation on a freelancing site was tarnished because of that one incident. The issue was NOT resolved quickly enough, and I recall the most difficult document was they wanted a MORE detailed invoice FROM the seller, who was already so pissed at me and wouldn't provide anything more. Of course he never sent it so the issue remained unresolved. The account was eventually unrestricted after 180 days (or rather, the issue resolved itself by expiring after 180 days I guess) but you can guess I had given up by then. The craziest thing for me was it was just below 100 dollars or so. I think my feeling here is that PP operates very well in N America and Europe and possibly Singapore but when it was starting out in Malaysia, where I am from, it was extremely problematic and continues to be for me today. I called in many times and emailed about the login issue (I travel and each login from a different country seems to lock the account). I understand security issues but to: 1. lock you out requiring account access and re-verification which will take several days 2. Requiring multiple documents MULTIPLE times after verifying countless times 3. >24 hours response and in some cases not responding. I have an email as recent as October which was never responded to when yet again I was locked out, had no way to call support because they insisted I call my home country (on roaming, yes) and they only provided an email support as an alternative. These are to me, unfair practices, given that I had zero restrictions, zero problems, zero verification needed to fund my Paypal account. So they happily took my funds with no complicated process, but to send it out? Hell or high water.

I used pay pal recently and doing fine, there is some reason why paypal freeze the account, paypal is a big company and been exist for a long time, and they take security seriously, so their system is a bit strict, but i am sure paypal is not a scam

As i were in the past a ptc member, the most easy way to know if the website were a scam searching for investment were very easy, does it accept paypal deposit as well cashout? The most started with paypal, but as paypal requires from them documents about the supost company they had they had their funds blocked, and in the general they stop working with paypal, those were an advice that it would turn into scam. Nowadays the projects running with paypal are fee, i do know merchants do like paypal, but projects like ptc, and similiar are few that keep and stand with paypal, the same way there is a short number of ptc nowadays, people tired to click for cents when they can earn better with captchas as well bitcoin.
