I put in a pair of noctua NF-F12 iPPC 3000 PWM fans in a push-pull configuration and they worked fine. Much quieter than the stock fan, even with two running instead of the single original.

Points well taken, -ck. I do have a question, though: Is there a way to backtrack and see how many blocks kano ckpool hit that caused another pool/miner to have an orphan?
In other words, could the above average luck seen on the blocks listing be attributed to the superior, optimized code you and kano-san have written and are running for the pool?
While I like having fun as much as the next guy, and I'm sure I could speak for many here that we're more than pleased with the extra payouts we've been getting lately, we all know that chicken eating, ckdb restarts, block friday and block dances aren't _really_ doing anything, right gang? If you think otherwise, any casino is just waiting for you to head on in and "try your luck!"

Well I can tell you that if you swap the +/- on the S7 board you will indeed get a magical puff of smoke and need to buy a new one... Not that I'd have any first-hand knowledge of this. |

Hi there. I have bought some S7 Antminers from www.bitmart.co.za and they have this whistling sound that is tearing through your brain like a chainsaw. the only way i can prevent the whisteling sound is if i stick tape on the grid to try and restrict the airflow a little. Anyone else have this issue? what else can i do? Yeah, mine does that when the fans are spinning close to max. I set my fans manually to a more pleasant % setting, watching temps of course. Got some other fans I'll be swapping out - was able to get my s5 to quiet down considerably, I'm pretty hopeful the same can be done with the 7's! |

Which value is better "Worker Management\Minimum Diff" for S7?
The pool will automatically set it optimally for you. Don't worry about it, as I understand it manually tweaking it doesn't do much good in the long run anyway. Trust the code -ck and kano-san are running, best out there! |
