1262  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoBoreas - Canadian Bitcoin Mining Hosting (As low as $65 CAD per 1 KwH) on: December 23, 2016, 07:11:44 PM
Looking forward to sending the first of what I believe will eventually be many miners to the Great White North next week!  Thanks to Alan for his prompt replies to my queries; I know I'm going to like this!
1263  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [25+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,NL,NYA on: December 21, 2016, 11:13:22 PM
Well it's been 1 year since I started mining here on kano-ckpool - actually been 1 year since I got into mining in the first place, I know a bit late but so far very interesting.  In just 1 year I went from a single S5 barely pumping out 1THs, to an S7, and then to two R4 units which will be sending 16.7THs to the pool (once the second one arrives and gets running!)  Grin
Geeze, glad the ND didn't increase by 16 times like my hashrate did!!   Cheesy

Mine on, kano-ites!   Smiley

I just wait for the email to come in confirming the order.  I ignore the order status on the website since it seems to be a common issue with the automated BTC payment not updating quite right...

Besides it's only 4:30am in China right now, they'll be in soon enough and start sifting through the orders I'd guess.
1265  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: December 21, 2016, 07:50:11 PM
Grabbed a B4 to add to my B2.  Woot, I'll be in THs double digits soon!!  Cheesy
1266  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: December 21, 2016, 03:39:17 PM
Love my B2!  Wouldn't mind another one tho...  Roll Eyes

I'm out, maybe next time!
1268  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: I can't login to my antminer on: December 19, 2016, 04:06:26 PM
Login to your router and check the logs - you'll see where it's connected (assuming a different IP address is indeed the problem).

Hey gang, just learned that you can still play with the frequency control if you want by going direct to the advanced tab like this:

http://192.168.x.x/cgi-bin/minerAdvanced.cgi

Haven't tried it yet myself since my R4 has been running fine, but there you are.  Thanks to ComputerGenie for posting this in the kani.is pool thread.

A block at less than 100% diff!  Finally, let's get some green to go with our red for more holiday spirit!!
1271  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S7 on: December 16, 2016, 10:28:14 PM
I see something out of the ordinary...  As you stated you're only putting up ~1.3THs although the GUI is showing all three ASIC chains running, and running hot at 850MHZ clock!  That is weird.  Huh

Only other thing I see is Fan3 (actually the second fan) running quite slowly compared to Fan1.  My fans would both tend to run at about the same speed, whatever the temp/setting was at the time.  Might want to check into that.  Beeping can come from the controller not seeing the fans properly.

Oh finally!
1273  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: December 16, 2016, 04:10:00 AM
Not exactly though it could be.  It's actually 5 times the current diffuculty, or 500% block if that helps, and based on the pool's average hash rate at the time the block is solved, currently it's 3.x 2.x days.
1274  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: December 16, 2016, 03:56:56 AM
If you were to leave kano now and block(s) are found after you leave but within the 5nd period, yes you would still receive payments based on how much 5nd is still active at the time the block is found.  It's a way to reduce variance overall, but doesn't help much when you run into a 500%+ block tho!!

C'mon Juvia, this is your shift.  Let's do this!  Kiss

Holy crapola, batman, we're at a 2 Trillion share!!  Here's where you separate the serious from the frivolous!

Mine on, kano-ites, we're bound to crack this damnable hellBlock if I have to squat down and start prancing/clucking like a chicken!!  Cheesy
1277  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain Announces the Antminer R4 and APW5 Power Supply, Designed for Silence on: December 15, 2016, 04:12:41 AM
HW refers to hardware errors - hash that doesn't compute properly for some reason.  As long as your overall percentage is nice and low (mine is currently 0.0002% so nothing to worry about) then you're good to go.  I too have a good order of magnitude difference between the two hash boards as far as HW is reported - 112 vs. 1764 after 5 days.  Not sure of the significance of that since overall HW percentage is low, but they are quite different.
1278  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [30+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,NL on: December 15, 2016, 02:33:08 AM
C'mon  people, kano-san sacrificing his beloved anime friends, and we sit here reading such and do nothing?  For shame, kano-ckpooludians! Eat more damn chicken until you bust (won't help), wear underwear (pants) (won't help) on your head (or elsewhere) (really won't help but would be funny for those nearby)... Do all the things mentioned in this voluminous thread that'll help our luck (won't help) and quit whining (will help)!
Mine on, damn it, and let's crack this block already!   Cool
1279  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [30+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,NL on: December 14, 2016, 03:07:19 AM
OT I know but, sending good vibes to fellow kanopoolian wmabern to land the job and get back to living!

Now back to our regularly scheduled block cracking programme...   Wink
