So when you mine burst is everyone essentially solo mining or is it all done on a pool?

Really nice TA done by Tai Zen here, he makes several good points and I agree with him that Synereo is a good buy right now for the long term. Short term I gotta admit I am not sure.

But don't take my word for it, check out his video. Good luck guys

The RChain allows the blockchain to be split up into pieces between all the nodes and still allows the nodes to achieve independent consensus.  This means that the days of needing large hard drives to store the blockchain is over.  What Greg has achieved is revolutionary.

This.

Yes this is why I laugh at the people buying Ardor and into other shit that has no real value.

You don't know what you're talking about, kid.
Nxt, which is the development platform of Ardor, has delivered solid tech since 3 years!
I like both projects and I think that other crypto currency projects are not the enemy.

This.

Let's try and keep this thread void of any FUD on other projects (impossible I know), but the real enemy is FIAT. So many enthusiasts hold an array of different coins and even developers work on different projects and collaborate together.
1224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 17, 2016, 01:55:49 PM
Yeah seeing such stupid drop dies sting! Sad

But I think nothing to worry given the size and scope and BTC involved with this project!

Will be biggest of 2017 Wink Smiley

Out of all the bags I have AMP is the one I worry least about.

The scope of this project is massive and I see no reason why it can't make top 5 on cmc. I will admit at first I was somewhat skeptical but after I spent some time reading about the tech stack and listening to the community hangouts I realized it was for sure a legit project.

i see a fork, anybody else ?

How can you tell it's a fork? I can tell something isn't right, wallet acting weird and the interest rate jacked up to 42% for some reason.

several nodes on one chain, several on the other, 0.16.5.2 is not friendly to 0.16.5.0

https://www.vericoinforums.com/threads/stake-your-vericoin.1016/page-21#post-21776

will probably be another update today

I dislike the fact that in crypto everything depends on listings at the"right" exchange. It's so political loaded, without any advantage for the scene at all. God damnit. The volume is more important than the tech and the exchange is an indicator for the future adoption success. JewelsProject (and $jwl within) is one of the best examples around crypto (look at BitCrystals $bcy at Poloniex).

You're right, but unfortunately not all crypto enthusiasts actually care about the "scene".

It's just about making money, which don't get me wrong I want to make a little bit of coin along the way too....but even if I was dead broke and lost it all I would still for some reason get up every morning and check the markets and projects I am interested in hahaha.

I guess there is hobbyist...and then straight mercenaries. Just my opinion do whatever the fuck you wana do

Will definitely try the mmorpg game soon.

When you are ready to try it out you need to create an account first on their website. http://bit.ly/2dKNuBb

Then when you get in game check out their Wiki page for some help on getting started. http://wiki.conquerheroes.com/

Also when you are in game their is a small ? Icon on the bottom right hand side that is LIVE support, I used it last night and a character came to me in game to help me out. Super easy and super convenient for newbies.

It's a pretty fun game you guys, once you kind of get the hang of how to get around and farm stuff and do quests it gets kind of addicting.

Also want to add there is a simple in game marketplace button where newcomers can buy valuable items and unique items, gives JWL demand and use case right off the bat.

1230  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AMP - The Currency That Powers Your Attention On Synereo on: October 02, 2016, 03:04:18 PM

Synereo can issue up to 5% more AMPs a year - less than the increase in Internet users and social network users year over year in the past two decades - as part of the Proof of Social Contribution mechanism discussed in our original whitepaper.

Can you clarify what you mean - does this mean outside of future crowdsales, Synereo can issue up to 5% more AMPS per year (of the total issued  or total in existence)? And how would this work, it would be based on the Casper Proof of stake thing once its in practice?

Yes it will be outside of the crowdsales. The "5%" will be issued to people who basically support or use the network, kind of like a POS coin but different in the way it's issued. Yes it will be based on the casper proof of stake algorithm that ethereum devs and synero devs are collaborating on.

I don't want to create any unnecessary hype but Synereo is ridiculously cheap right now if you look at all the factors and tech involved. This coin could easily be a top ten market cap if not top 5.

Keep us on you're radar.

You don't seem to get it and you are negotiating with yourself, that's a big scary thought. Why would you make a stupid statement like "No one joining Heroes who has not played conquer before would have any interest in it" I never played conquer before, as many others on the forum who invested but we are all playing heroes. What makes us so different?

Why do you think you know what everyone in the world would or would not play?

Seems a bit egotistical to me.

The #1 market for projects like this is those who are nostalgic for the original game. We've proven time and time again that whenever we try advertising to wider groups (gamers from other communities or who have not played conquer before) it simply results in a huge headache for our support staff who are there to discuss account issues, bug reports and other such issues, not teach people how to play the game. That's not going into the abysmally low conversion rate of such advertisements. I think after over a decade of being involved in CO development, saying I have an idea of the type of people who plays these projects has been earned.

As someone who works as application developers and customer support i really agree with you. In developing a product it is better to target what you know best and target to convert player into a regular player.  You have a decade of experience in this market and in order to make a good start, this decission is a sound one.

The critism that you are egoistic is baseless and just want to make jewels popular but not its usage. Concentrate on what make jewels valuable and not make jewels just in name. Look at dogecoin, it ride on hype and stay as so. No real serius usage.

Jewels and dogecoin?  Really want to compare those two mate? Its not even a fair fight. Doge will win 100% of the time and jewels would only be so lucky to get brand recognition like doge has. But....

Its nice to see you all sucking off on Chris's cock and all but the truth is we were supposed to have lots of people playing heroes because of Chris's previous users from apex, heroes been out for a while but it only has 40 players playing, that's pretty sad for someone who has such a big database of previous conquer players when even he Chris himself is saying they are the only ones he wants to market to because they play the game ra ra ra. But with his list of 30k conquer players he only converted 40 players.  Huh

Care to explain how only marketing to current or old players is the right path?

If I was Chris and had the database he had the site would have 5k players on the first day all spending money.

That reminds me, Chris, how many jewels have been bought for paypal and how much palpal usd was the total.

I have to admit, you're making a lot of good points.

Ya of course you agree with his points, you're the same guy fuding price on the last page...

Then share your knowledge please.

Trust me my friend, I have tried to help and I have shared my knowledge with Chris but he seems to think he knows better.

Sorry but it's hard to believe anything you say. I agree the thread is getting jacked by speculators wanting to hype the coin. Just my opinion, nothing personal.

I come from crypto community but have played games like Diablo 1,2,3 and UO (ultima online) and I can say that the game has been pretty difficult to play IF you haven't played it before. But several times I have been in game and asked a question and most of the time Pro4Never would be there to answer it. Not brown nosing, just the truth.

It makes sense to me to keep marketing to people who would actually play the game, last night when I was playing there was two guys talking back and forth and one of them mentioned buying 1000 jwl worth of in game items. Makes sense to get the guys in that have played before and will buy stuff rather than crypto speculators who could care less about the actual in game stuff.

Will the heroes forum remain in reddit or is that temporary?

I have always heard this forum is toxic, following this thread through its entirety is really verifying this.  Undecided

Any news from bittrex, I know when something is official you will post it but can you give us an unofficial update about that.

thanking you in advance,

Two post above he answered this question, why would you want him to post here first? So that maybe you can get ahead of the market or something?.....

Added the nodes to the config file from the explorer.

Still 6/6 (all of my stakes) orphans, anyone else getting this?

Its a lotto and you could just be losing out to other lotto tickets or your computer time could be off and that's why. Have you synced your pc time with the internet time?

Huh...that's interesting, I just have my pc time set to my local time? Not much info on the pos v3 used in the OP...unless I overlooked it.

Trying to test out the heroes server, get stuck on a initializing splash screen after character selection? any thoughts or advice?

The opening material looked really nice though, and the character selection seemed pretty sweet. Looking forward to playing!
1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmark on: September 23, 2016, 10:17:07 PM
so whats going on over here i got told this is another good project.
I stopped looking for legitimate projects long ago and just stick with my current investments SDC and BTC but i hear in SDC slack that this project is nice, what or where is the best source of info?

Don't be so biased! SDC and BTC are the only good projects within crypto-currency?? You are better than that, we are competing against FIAT not so much each other. Keep your mind open and you will see there are several good projects out there other that SDC.

(Not that SDC isn't a legit project)  Wink

You have most likely seen it in action in the polo trollbox. People are "marked" and tipped, but it's much more than that, like reputation on the blockchain.

The project had a big boom bust cycle like most alts do and the project at one point was thought to be abandoned. I was in the slack for a while back when the price was really low...like 5k and there was talk back then of new developers and big holders bringing in dbkeys and some others to help with the code.

They must have really gotten to work or the original developer came back. Either way it's looking good at this point, I have bought some and expect that if the website launches and looks decent the price will no doubt go way higher. It's a rare coin and has a really nice name/brand.
