1101  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: January 05, 2018, 08:35:01 AM
I think I can earn limited amount of money every month. I want to invest my money in trading. How can I get a good
a good amount profit every month??How I research the market? How to find out the good coin to invest? Thanks in advance ....

if you want to do it while doing your regular job, believe me, you will not focus.
join crypto community on telegram or forum, you will get the latest info about it.
on trading, you need to check the volume trading, order book, market depth, etc.
do some simple research about the project that you want to support (you want to buy the product).
will be helpful if you follow the news from big online media like coindesk, cointelegraph, etc.
following the project itself on twitter will help you as well, because twitter is the fastest news platform for cryptocurrency so far.
1102  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's the biggest problem with EXCHANGES right now? on: January 05, 2018, 08:24:40 AM
So far, this is the problem that I got from almost all of crypto exchange market that I joined.
1. bigger order, bigger fee.
2. lack of support (slow response, etc).
3. server (when some coin on its hype and many people start to trade it at the same time, it will crash).
4. and withdrawal time is not as fast as when we deposit into the exchange. just why?

1104  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I make passive daily income with trading? on: January 04, 2018, 04:26:56 PM
Can I make passive daily income with trading?
I have little money of about 100$, Is it a good idea to start jump on Bittrex or Poloniex and
start buying alt coins for profit.

what do you mean by passive daily income with trading?
do you mean trading with a bot? if yes, the answer is yes. you can use a trading bot who can trade for you and gain some profit passively.
however, the bot usually not free. you need to pay for the license and (it is not cheap).
just google crypto trading bot, you will find some.
1105  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychology of waiting on: January 04, 2018, 03:57:23 PM
I have now heard a lot of people talking about they are waiting for bitcoin to drop, so that they can buy bitcoin. But these guys might have said that since 6k$ and are still waiting. What do you tell those people, to try and make them understand that waiting for a drop can cost them huge percentage gains?

we can not blame them for their decision, because cryptocurrency is still a new things. some country banned it, but many influential person support it.
everything can happen in this "crypto journey".
but, I suggest you to ask them, "lose small or win big?".

1106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Issues with etherdelta ? on: January 04, 2018, 03:46:04 PM
Am I the only one having issues with etherdelta ?
I've been trying to deposit from my wallet to the platform and it's not working .
I upped the gas price ,still nothing ...

although you've increased the gas, you need to make it "enough" for them. not just increase it.
check the latest gas price here https://ethgasstation.info/. I recommend you to follow the gas from that site, at least the same amount of gas.
I also got this problem when cryptokitties hit the network. and then, I follow this step as suggested by my friend, and it solved.
1107  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta: Is the platform safe now?? on: January 04, 2018, 03:35:31 PM
Is etherdelta now safe to use since it was hacked?

yes it is safe. just dont import your wallet into it. create a new wallet for that (metamask).
also beware of phising like what commonly happened on slack. there are a bunch of slack bot that act like the bot from a project that you follow.
beware of phising from duplicate sites like what happened with MEW as well. make sure the link has a green bar when you open it. bookmarking the correct link is recommended.

OOT:
my computer was infected by brocoiner virus (trojan). it will make computer slow because they will use your computer to mine remotely.
stay alert guys.
1108  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading Bitcoin and other alts still profitable? on: January 04, 2018, 03:24:55 PM
I was a trader awhile back, I want to say about a year ago now and wanted to know what the current state of the market is for the traders that are currently trading to this day? I know a lot of the current exchanges that I used for trading, such as Poloniex, are still around but aren't really being used much as before.

I wasn't able to profit much but would like to hear how people are doing these days. Thanks a ton!

on this days, bitcoin trading is not so profitable since the raising of altcoins. bitcoin price fluctuaction arround 1-3% per day for now.
but as you can see, the fluctuation of altcoins price is going crazy. and we have 1385 coins/tokens that listed on coinmarkecap so far. so there are many opportunities to get profit.

Is trading Bitcoin still profitable? yes, but not on this period.
Is trading altcoin still profitable? yes, lambo everywhere.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I dont like daytrading on: January 04, 2018, 03:03:02 PM
Even though much profit can be made. And i did a bit. But truth is... i dont like it. It gives me a weird unpleasant feeling. Because to me its just swapping air if all u buy and sell for is money. I love crypto and to me it feels like daytrading is raping it. Ur not really standing behind the idea and product anymore. Im not hating on daytraders or anything. Just doesnt seem my thing. I allways had the same in poker, taking lunchmoney and the game is what its about to me. Whenever i played higher stakes it just didnt felt right and even when i won a nice bit it even depressed me.

with your poin of view, I can say that you have a passion on crypto. you love to learn and support this "crypto" world.
I have the same feeling like you, for example when I have some coins, and sell it, I feel like, "okay, now what? I am just a 'normal' person who only have fiat money now, I dont have crypto money anymore."
however, the longer I hold my coins, it's getting difficult when I see the hype nowadays.
1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing for first time on: January 04, 2018, 02:54:26 PM
Hi Guys

I am looking at investing for the first time, I currently use Blockchain as my wallet and Cryptopia for trading, would people say these two are okay to use?

Firstly, I will be looking at investing £1,000 on Bitcoin and then go for the long-held option,  most likely for the next 2-3 years, whilst keeping an eye out for spikes in value to sell say 40% at any given time during a spike.

I would like to keep 60% of the remaining value to (hopefully) climb, whilst also possibly spending 15% on alternative currencies e.g. Ripple.

As of now Bitcoin looks to be at a high value and I am waiting for a dip to buy mine, would you say this is a wise move, as I need to buy Bitcoin before looking at buying alt coins.

Any info would be great, thanks.

use a wallet that you have full access into it. blockchain.info is okay to store your bitcoin.
cryptopia? hmm.. I'll recommend binance, bittrex, and poloniex for now.
I suggest you to diversify your money into digital assets and free money (the money that might be needed to buy something (cryptocurrency) when there's a good moment for it).

for me: 80% digital assets, 20% free money.
the digital assets will be diversified in 3 class:
class 1 - 60% - Bitcoin 70:30 Ethereum (which is the top and popular coin)
class 2 - 30% - Litecoin, Ripple, XLM (you know it is popular but not enough point to place it on class 1  Grin)
class 3 - 10% - Aion, ADA, ICX, IOTA (the "rising star")
1111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: January 04, 2018, 02:43:14 PM
I am keen to know how to find which coin is going to get pumped next and when.
Is it possible to know for sure?has anyone here predicted accurately about next pump?

join a crypto trading signals which has a bunch of members. personally, I dont think it's a signal or prediction. crypto trading signal channel on telegram is just a platform where you (all member) agree which coin/token will be bought at the same time with other members. who will get the most profit? the admin and team itself. they bought it first before they ask you to "pump". it's not recommended to join a crypto trading signal channel.

How to know about next pump?
organically? you need to follow the news and updates.
1112  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trying to choose the ICO to invest in on: January 04, 2018, 12:58:33 PM
how about Trade.io and Tokenomy (TEN)?

Trade.io
Binance need competitors, Trade.io will be a great competitor for Binance.

Tokenomy
the CEO of Tokenomy is Oscar Darmawan, the same CEO with Bitcoin.co.id.
Bitcoin.co.id is the biggest cryptocurrency exchange market in Indonesia.
you can check the trading volume on this market exchange (Bitcoin.co.id) on Coinmarketcap.

Pre-ICO: 80000 TEN/BTC.
Pre ICO period: January 8th, 2018, 3:00 PM to January 15th, 2018, 3.00 PM (UTC+8).

You can do some research about it.
1113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best coin to buy today? on: January 04, 2018, 12:51:35 PM
What is the best coin to buy today?  So many good coins.. sometimes I have hard time thinking what's the best coin to buy.

today, stellar (XLM) and ripple (XRP) continue to rise. Ripple currently the second largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.
I am not sure if this is a false flag by the whales or not because some people said that ripple is controlled by bank.
after all people focus on ripple, they will dump it to buy Bitcoins  Grin

What is the best coin to buy today?
I would say Power Ledger. but it is too late. it's already fly. they will be in CES 2018 on this early January, that's why the price go up.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Deposit Tokens to MEW after ico on: January 03, 2018, 05:40:57 PM
Is it possible to deposit tokens after ico to ETH MEW address? I mean those tokens got already thier addresses right? So would MEW still recognize it? For instance Dragon chain (DRGN)

If not how to safelly store Tokens if there is no dedicated wallet?

DRGN is already listed on MEW, so yes, you can deposit your DRGN tokens into your MEW wallet.
if your tokens has not been registered/listed on DRGN, you can add custom token before you deposit it, just to make sure your token can be stored on MEW or not.

how?
1. go to "Token Balances" section.
2. click on "Add Custom Token"
3. input the Token Contract Address, Token Symbol, and Decimals.
4. save (make sure the symbol of your token appears after you save it).
5. transfer your token into your MEW wallet.
1115  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to use Z Trader or TabTrader? on: January 03, 2018, 05:06:38 PM
When we are busy outside the home and can not monitor the market, I was very helpful with Ztrader / Tabtrader android app.
Is it safe to use Z Trader or TabTrader?
Is there any risk of using it?

so far, I didn't have any problem when I used it. I've already used zTrader and TabTrader since early 2016 (if I am not mistaken).
the only problem that I got is my finger it too big to tap my smartphone's screen precisely.
not as fast as on the web, but you can consider it as a price checker or if you dont want to miss the good moment.
1116  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Best Exchanger for 2018? on: January 03, 2018, 04:53:39 PM
respect my question. i just want to know more about trading and study it for the most reliable and trusted exchanger.

For altcoin trading, I'll choose Binance, Poloniex, and Bittrex. Bittrex and Poloniex is so so. I think Binance will dominate the market for altcoin trading for now.
They are faster and the user interface look better than the other.
1117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would you portion $100K in various crypto? on: January 03, 2018, 04:42:32 PM
first, I will diversify my $100K into digital assets and free money (the money that might be needed to buy something (cryptocurrency) when there's a good moment for it).
80% digital assets, 20% free money.

this digital assets will be diversified into:
class 1 - 60% - Bitcoin 70:30 Ethereum
class 2 - 30% - Litecoin, Ripple, XLM
class 3 - 10% - Aion, ADA, ICX, IOTA
1118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: January 03, 2018, 07:42:02 AM
first you should know the trigger why does the price moving up or down excessively. dont get trapped by the price manipulation from the whales.
if the price movements confirmed as a result of a big news, you can jump into it (whether you buy or sell your asset depend on the news).
trading is just a game of psychology (and money) where whales can bully some people with panic issue.

so far, I am holding all of my altcoins and bitcoin, trade some free money when a good moment has come and I can jump into it.
1119  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: January 03, 2018, 07:24:47 AM
if you are a daily trader, just keep your asset on an exchange market / trading platform. but if you are a long term investor, just store your asset on a safe wallet where you have full access into it.

based on my experience, becoming a daily trader to gain profit is good, but after do some calculation I realized that the profit that I got from trading is less than the profit that I might get from holding and do nothing  Grin.
not sure if I am a bad trader or a bad holder. or both?
1120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a portfolio management app? on: January 03, 2018, 07:07:12 AM
I recommend you to use 2 kind of different app. one app that allow you to trade on your prefered exchange market, and the other one to track your portfolio (profit/loss).
for trading Tab Trader and zTrader might be good for you. and to track your portfolio, you can use Blockfolio.
After you buy some digital assets, you need to input it manually on Blockfolio.
