2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🍀 CLOTBA - High Winning Blockchain Lottery 🍀 on: January 19, 2022, 07:06:25 PM
Let's see if this is correct, we buy clotba, 10 clotba equals1 entry to the lottery, which total prize is accumulated from transaction fee, which is 2% of the amount bought, and drawn each week? Wow. And that's the major selling point? How does this appealing?

Edit: ahh... That's why your username sounds familiar to me. I've bumped into you and your... other brilliant project before. Mind to attend to that abandoned project too? My question is still unanswered there. Please, for the sake of the wolves.

hi, I am not the project owner, I am a content writer and token promotion publisher. for the wolf project, devs are trying to publish game and app in the 1st quarter of 2022.

For the clotba you can read https://clotba.com/whatisclotba.pdf to understand what is whitepaper. how it works.

you can check the contract, so it is public now. also, the Audit report will be available in 2 days.

Which means you didn't give the slightest DD before accepting the job of publishing a content to persuade people to buy? And by the way, your reply didn't exactly answers my question about the selling point of the project, and yes, I've read the whitepaper.

Regarding wolf, I'll really appreciate it if you can answer there to avoid being OOT on this thread --hint: your answer here also didn't even cover what I asked there.

[...] If so, would you please suggest their team to appoint someone as their representative to answer several questions I have about their project?

[...]
Rest assured, I'll relay your inquiries here to the team so just shoot them up and I'll post their response here, or better yet, just ask them on their telegram group.  Grin

Thank you, as I believe from the multiple occasions you combed through my post history --to count my posts, LOL-- I am sure you're well versed with my preference to bring the discussion here so that it'll be accessible to anyone interested. If you don't mind relying the question to the team --although, again, it'll be much better if team themselves appoint someone as a CM--, this is from their website:

Quote from: https://pugg.io/
PUGG Foundation’s (PUGG) Binance Smart Chain (BSC) based, Play-To-Earn (P2E) metaverse game, "Virtual Life,” is a 3D game dominated by cyberpunk style where players can earn a certain amount of Californium ($Calit) tokens by being the identity card holders of their project, which can be found in the project demo. With its sleek and sophisticated production, the 3D visualization of the P2E mechanism is also highly innovative with virtual office space, and virtual citizenship games offering virtual citizens a much more complete visual experience. Through both online and offline connections, they can more profoundly implement their own unique original intention on the mapping of the real world.

It is quite ambiguous to me, were they implying that the project will bridge virtual and real world? I am specifically talking about their feature where their user can earn CALIT through doing tasks in their virtual world. But, were the paragraph quoted above indicate that they have plan to make it possible to do tasks in real world too? I am not talking about bounty and airdrop, I am referring to, perhaps, like a freelance platform. Wouldn't it be an interesting course to pursue?
2424  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC - Dogecoin withdrawals on: January 18, 2022, 11:41:30 AM
I recently deposited 15147 Dogecoins onto HitBTC, At this time 16/01/2022 they are worth $2,767.25, i use Dogecoins for the cheap sending fees and most exchanges use this currency. I was not expecting a price manipulation of $666.00 when i received the dogecoins on the website. [...]

Out of curiosity and perhaps could be a beneficial knowledge for future reference or other users who stumbled upon this thread, do you mind to give a bit more context? Where's this $666 came from? A deposit fee?

Make sure you know the amount it will be converted to in USD and relate it to your doge price before converting it, if HitBTC wants to cheat you, do not convert, you will have no option than to wait until the withdrawal is working good again.

They are cheating the rate, it's been significantly lower for a while now, as can be seen by comparing to monthly graph I pulled from binance and the image next below. Hitbtc's doge has been below 0.01 since July or so, while binance's barely touched 0.01.

Although if we want to give them benefits of doubt, the rate difference is probably due to other users of their exchange desperately tried to liquidate their doge into other token and move it out of hitbtc at the lowest possible rate because of the said withdrawal issue, thus creating a dump.

maybe I'm seeing it wrong, but the doge price on hitbtc on all pairs is very high compared to any other exchange, [...]

Damn, this exchange still sucks from the first time I saw it. If you are forced to want to withdraw it in another coin, you will lose much less value. They really make a lot of profit from this, forcing users to sell doge on orders they make themselves because users have no other choice.
Doge><Usdt now has low trading volume on hitbtc and the highest buy order is just $0.043 while the current market price is over $0.18.

[...]

Yes, you're seeing it wrong. DOGE/USDT on cmc is averaged $0.1665 as per today, January 18th, while hitbtc's rate is --as noorman0 said, 0.041.

The way I see it, it's a lose-lose situation. dfbtc can either severely cutloss by converting to USDT or XRP or other tokens like others suggested and withdrawn them from hitbtc --and preferably leave them for good-- or wait until doge price worldwide reached the same value as hitbtc, just for the sake of ---crooked-- peace of mind, because this scenario is no different than the cutloss, you still loss the outstanding value you initially had upon depositing, because I don't think they'll open their withdrawal anytime soon. A quick stroll on google shows me they've been having this "issue" for 9 months
2425  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: www.botheredotters.com IS SCAM BEWARE on: January 18, 2022, 10:30:52 AM
Strange, as I was actually provided SOL deposits into my Tryst wallet from botheredotters…I have a Solstice wallet that got SOL as well, a golden ticket that unfortunately wasn’t able to be used to mint the nft, but that’s because I sold it to another hopeful wanting to mint amount the firsts. I lost nothing to this site, actually gained something, as well as the apology from creator for not being able to mint nft plus reimbursement for time on platform site…it had a great storyline catch that had me looking forward to more…what exactly beyond speculation of a possible rug pull or the like did you have anyway? You never were specific with your claim beyond speculative of potential wrongs from site. I, for what it’s worth, have to say you were just spreading hate a bit early & such antics shouldn’t be permitted to stay posted…as well as the lacking of others to agree with your views. After gaining, no loss at all I have to debunk your claim.
But your post is also based on speculation. Zero proof of what happened, so how do we know if you telling true or just another shill account created to make it look like botheredotters.com is legit?

Show us the screenshot of the apology for starters.

I am more curious about why they bother necromancing this thread while the project itself is already concluded, which means, they probably got little to zero benefits from "debunking" the accusation... other than perhaps raises people's confidence to buy the --near dead-- token or their golden tickets.

I got interested about this case when I saw that the initial accusation raised on November 2021 and bumped recently, so I dug into their discord --mind that the action itself is rather an incredible feast as I am a total stranger to the platform and I felt lost wandering around their ughh... channels-- and found that the dev decided to conclude the project and refund their holders in form of buyback.

Regarding the apology, I wondered if what ParkerBee77 means was the post on their ann channel explaining their withdrawal, suspending project, and the buyback process.

Selfdrop and IDO ends already in 2 hours - https://freya.freyavpn.com/

Within a couple of days we will create a pool (trading pair) on the Pancakeswap decentralized exchange.

Furthermore, very soon we are going to launch social mining, where everyone will be able to earn Freya tokens for simple actions.

Can't help but wondered how you plan to grow your token price. So far, your premium member plan is purchasable by fiat, EURO if I'm not mistaken, without any offering to pay via your native token. What'll incentivize or persuade people to buy on PCS, then? The situation gets worsen when you initiate  stagr whee people can get your token via sinple acrion. What's the purpose of the token, then. What role does it play on your project? Or is there a feature that I missed somewhere that can only be utilized by the native token?

OP's last online date was more than a month ago and apparently only posted the thread opener before disappearing from this forum. Julerz12, I've been privileged to work with you on several projects, dare I assume that you're acting as their bounty manager here and not on capacity of community manager as well? If so, would you please suggest their team to appoint someone as their representative to answer several questions I have about their project?

The new exchange listing but BP price dumping so hard, People selling on Gate no stop Sad
And I think it's from the people who received the Gate airdrop. I hope it's temporary

Btw, Listing on the Gate is a great start to get in front of more people.

Their dumping has been happening long before the new listing. Their price has been in a nosedive since the alleged hacking that took millions --I don't exactly remember how much was stolen that day-- and what I thought to be their rock bottom is not a rockbottom at all as they keeps moving from two digits to single digits, to decimal.

I might be not an expert, who am I compared to the Sillicon Valley's experts, but I think they need to adapt a completely new strategy before all of their investors and holders losing faith.

Hi, it came to my attention that despite your statement about CPLAY being listed on coinmarketcap and coingecko, both sie couldn't properly serve your data. CMC list the project as untracked while CG... well, I don't think they even has your database. It also came to my attention that your press on bloomberg is not accesible, the button is just a placeholder without link, while the other media coverage on other sites like Yahoo finance, benzinga, APNews, etc. are all the exact same material published as a paid content.

If I may ask three things:

1. Does the payment, the $15,000 USDT escrowed?
2. Would you mind lowering the minimum posts? Although I am sure that, with some efforts, it is achievable, 25/week still seems excessive. 15 or 20, maybe?
3. I checked the ANN and website and found that the token sale will happen in smartchain, wouldn't it be more practical to have the bounty payment in BEP20 USDT? They have a significantly lower tx fee that'll benefits both the company and the hunters.
2431  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: KuCoin 2FA Scam? on: January 15, 2022, 03:05:42 PM
The only chance of account recovery is to fulfill their request. Please get in touch with one of these guys @KuCoin Exchange or @TalkStar, or leave your complaint in the official Kucoin thread. I don't know if they can handle it, but I think they can forward your complaint to the team competent regarding ID verification. Publicly written customer complaints are usually quickly dealt with for the sake of reputation.

I can't see how reaching TalkStar with this issue would help, he's currently managing their latest bounty campaign and not part of the core team, community manager, or support. It is not his duty or responsibility to see the outcome of this 2FA issue.

If I may add, before anyone can suggest, I don't think trying to reach them through telegram would help, as evidenced by the screenshot from the neighboring thread below, reaching through telegram would only made them suggest and redirect you to their support team, namely Scott and his colleagues, which so far proves to be ineffective.

However, I agree that a publicly written complaint is a method worth utilizing.

Altcoin447, I dug through their support site and found that you're not alone, there are other people facing the samae issue with sudden 2FA. If you haven't tried the method used by Aaronshippee1, I suggest you to try that.

Guys fuck. Ive just got scammed by that...omfg...Ive lost about 1000€. Oh my god. I cant believe it. I wasnt able to find any negative information of cryptoruna. Nothing. Only - when I in the end - have seen the email anaclark198266@gmail.com Ive realised it. But my money is gone already. Omfg. Im really shocked!!!!!

What can I do???
Please some advice?

I know that was stupid so please dont judge my for that. I just need help with that anyhow...

Did you also create an account on their website? If you did and you use similar email address and password as what you usually use for your other accounts, I would recommend to change the password of your accounts. Seems excessive, but I think you better be safe than sorry. It's kinda likely that they have access to see the password and email that their members use, and if you use similar pass and address with the one you use for other platforms, like this forum, facebook, twitter, Instagram, binance, etc., they could hack into it.

Hi Dark, it is possible for a user to delete their comments or replies to a thread/post.

Please may I request you to kindly delete your comments/replies to any threads pertaining to this matter?:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5369238.0

Your assistance in this regard is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't mind, sure. Although I just want to say it for the record that --in case I deleted the posts-- the action is due to the request by the thread owner/victim to aid his negotiation.

And, before that, please just ease my concern, I take a look at your profile and trust record --call me paranoid-- and this worries me.

Just to be sure this account is not hacked and the posts made since is still from the legit owner, please email me from the email address you use to exchange emails with Helios confirming that the real owner of this account is still Rudolp Jafta and the password change notification is just a common case of you forgotting your password instead of your account being hacked.
2435  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Facebook Metaverse Token Plagiarized Whitepaper on: December 24, 2021, 05:06:08 PM
Since the first day the token was launched, it has been stated in our group content at the entrance of our website that "Facebook Metaverse is a project inspired by Mark Zuckerberg". The same warning is also present in our cmc listing. How can you claim that this is deceiving people?

It has 60,000 owners, you insult these 60 thousand people, do you realize?

Both what Fatfork and dkbit98 said above this post, and this thing called copyright infringement. Facebook and Meta has their IP protected by law, within them, I am sure, are their logo and name, which you conveniently use without permission to lure people.

So let's say you're somewhat legit... we are talking hypothetically here, so let's say you're legit, you copied their materials by accident, a lazy person you hired copied their materials without you knowing about it, and so on, and so on, and so on, you know, the classic excuses, but lets say that hypothetically in spite of all of those lame excuses your projecr is real and legit. Still, at one point you'll face lawsuit by Facebook, you close your project, and leave your... 60,000 holders at loss.

And, let's talk about technical, ohh... I love this part. Below is your tokenomy allocation taken from your site [archived]

Come on, are you seriously not knowing how a piechart and percentage works? It's been introduced in elementary grade math.

Good Day Dark,

[...]

As part of ongoing negotiations I would like to humbly request that the thread pertaining to the case be removed in order to avoid additional conditions/penalties imposed on me.

[...]

Thank you in advance for your assistance

Regards

BT

Unfortunately, it seems there is no way to delete a thread unless you're the mod of of this forum. You, however, has two option that you can do:

1. Lock the topic so no one can post any other comments to bump it up, which would slowly made this thread drowned by other threads. The option to lock thread is located at the bottom of the page (see image below). And no, I can't do that for you, only the thread owner --namely, you-- or the moderators of this forum can do such actions. Other additional step other people did, which you can try if you deem it necessary, is by moving this thread to a less common board so that it'll be harder to be found. But I personally think it's counter-productive. Less common board means less people visiting and posting, which would significantly decrease the chance and rate of it being drowned by other posts.

2. Explain your situation and ask the forum moderators to delete this thread. This board is under Cyrus's jurisdiction, so you'll want to PM them and ask their help to remove this entire thread.

I sincerely hope you and your family can get a way out of this miserable situation. Wishes you the best for the resolution negotiation.

2437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💣💣💣 [TOKPIE] Makes your Dream Real 💣💣💣[Bounty Stakes Trading]💣💣💣 on: December 20, 2021, 02:13:06 PM
There is an --ANOTHER-- active and unsolved scam accusation against TOKPIE in regards to their unethical behaviour like blackmail, breach of contract, as well as encouraging faking team informations. For TOKPIE and their community manager, please address the concern with the link below. For other users, please stay away from the project until the situation is solved.

2438  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Tokpie exchange - unethical and blackmailing way of doing business on: December 20, 2021, 02:08:19 PM
Hmm... I actually wanted to give BTCITA187 a chance to explain themselves before tagging the account with an accusation of encouraging fake team profile and raised a thread about it, but as one week passed and they weren't even online --somehow I think they ditched the account, now that it's tagged with multi negative trust-- I think it's fair to void the benefit of doubts. And now that a thread about it is already raised... it saves me some time, LOL. I think I'll put a warning on their official thread, to discourage people from using their service as well as to notify me in case they created a new account to continue the project

User CryptorClub paid them for their services listing on CoinGecko,
I don't get why certain people, pay for something that's free while also not doing a little research about the platforms they're planning to get listed on:

I think the main reason why people paid the service is to get the volume assistant as well as get through --presumably in a dirty way-- the other requirements that coingecko didn't disclose

Once you have verified that the exchange is tracked on CoinGecko, do fill up our Request Form. Listings will have to fulfill an internal set of criteria before it is listed on CoinGecko. These criteria will not be disclosed.

which, from what I can conclude from the wild, wild, wild quote-pyramid on the earlier scam accusation, includes: a thin spread, certain amount of highest bid and lowest ask, and a high daily trading volume... as well as team details. I can see that a high daily trading volume would be a difficult criteria for a low quality project due to the scarce numbers of people interested to buy and sell them, which is why they'll need a good volume assistance (A.K.A.: trading bot).

The first reason, why we wait, that this volume assistance can be positive in long term for possibility to be listed on CoinGecko. Shame on me
The second reason - is tried to trust to Tokpie, that with volume, that can do something. Shame on me

Edit: oh, here, I found the email describing the requirement
2439  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] PENNY UTILITY TOKEN Plagiarized Whitepaper on: December 18, 2021, 11:08:38 AM

I think it's safe to start proceeding with the negative tag. I tried to reach them via their TG channel and they removed me right away. I don't think they'll heed the invitation you put on their thread

One of main things that I did well in my life is removing negative people from it. Trying to spend the time just with positive and good will people. In a crypto world there is a plenty negative people, that are spreading negativity in the group to others. From one side its good that you posted info there so we know what is happening here. On the other side you can light the fire with negativity on project that didnt started yet. I didnt lose 6 months on coding to have negative comments before start. I have personally told to mods to delete all the fuds from the group. Some of them deleted your comment too.

I'll have to say that you have a very unique definition of "negativity", my invitation on the TG --as it appears to me-- sounds neutral enough. It didn't judge you of a misconduct, it invites you to come to the thread and give your explanation.

FUD is based on a false information, whereas the information I gave on the TG --that there is an unsolved accusation waiting for your answer-- is a pure fact. If you tried to defend yourself by blaming your mods, that you didn't know about it at all, that all of it were the mod's, weren't your team fact-check these "FUD" before they decide if it's indeed a FUD or simply just a situation they need to solve? Did you check their competency to de-escalate a situation or you just blindly hire --hopefully not a freelance-- mods because you're too busy with development?

If we may depart a little bit further from this point, that a simple invitation to answer to an accusation is counteracted with kicking the subject from the group and instantly labeling it as a FUD, it is not too far fetched to think that this is what would be your project's policy, where if someone posted something a tad bit "negative" --that you evidently did very well removing from your live-- they'll be automatically banned instead of get any help regarding their concern.

"Oh, I use the platform and I found this bug..." BAN
"Admin, can you please help me? I think one of the freelancer didn't deliver what's promi..." BAN
"Hi, I asked for a withdrawal for my freelancing job and I know it's been less than 24h, but.." BAN

So please before accuse some project to be a scam, because it has some parts of text of some other project whitepaper, check other details too.

Second, challenge accepted. Let's give you benefits of doubt and talk about details of your project that you've invested so much time on it that you had to hire a freelancer to write your WP and didn't have time to check it --more of this below-- I usually did this on the ANN thread but given the discussion already started here, so let's stay here.

These following screenshots are from your website [archived]

Riddle me this, your proposed main feature is a decentralized freelancing platform without a middleman, which in traditional definition, an employer will meet an employee directly and the payment will happen between both parties without other entities in between, so how does "the lowest fees for using this platform will be with penny token as payment option" fits into this? You declare that the job will happen with no middleman, but you require fees for each job done?

I am not really an expert on this field, so I can't be 100% certain, but a small google search and glancing at the articles provided reveals that there are ways to get around this --disregarding extra fees-- like this or this.

On top of it, comparing your project to the traditional freelancing platform is comparing apple-to-orange. There are several crypto-based freelancing platforms that should be more fair to be used as comparison as they're better suited to be compared feature-wise, payment-wise, etc.

And again, riddle me this, how exactly does a project has a 98.6% of total supply and not 100%? Your total supply will always be 100%, your circulating supply could be less than 100% due to burning, locking, etc. but I don't think a total supply can be less than 100%, unless there's something wrong with my logic?

The answer is above. Of course I cant double check everything. I can check the token code, but not whitepaper. I dont know how to check it at all? To copy part by part in google and look for similar results? Sorry but I dont have time for it anyway. Need to work on platforms with devs

Next, the notoriously well-known excuse of "we hire a freelancer".

Let's amuse ourselves for a while by accepting that you hired a freelancer to build your whitepaper, the first and most severe mistake a project can do --according to my mind-- is outsourcing people with bare knowledge of your project to write your whitepaper. If you're so serious and well invested on your project, you'll spare some time to write your own whitepaper, because no one would ever be able to explain the project in details like its own creator, especially since it's just a ten pages of whitepaper, with the first one is a cover, the second last is a chart, and the last page is links.

You can't do that because English is not your main language? Here, a protip for dummy, wrote them in your own language and hire a translator instead of a content writer. It's a no brainer, really, every dev smart and serious enough to build a project will figure this out, but hey, I've said it's a protip for dummy, anyway.

And as promised on earlier paragraph, I find it ironic that you as a freelancing platform got "scammed" by a freelancer, that you didn't check the work at all, no matter what the excuse is --again, it's a ten page of work. Nonetheless, should this be used as a reference how your platform will perform in the future? Where there are no way to safeguard a project because the team are so busy with their things?

In conclusion, if you ask me, I don't think we can use busy as an excuse because, as mentioned before, if you're so well invested on your project --and still decide to hire a clueless third party, somehow-- you'll at least give them a read, you'll make time for it. So tell me, which one is it? Were you too invested on the project that you can't afford to risk it to get derailed by a negativity of a "FUD" before you even started, or were you too careless that you don't bother to wrote your thought into WP or at least check the job?

[...]
By the way the only reason why I wasn't using this account for 2 years is slow support of bitcointalk forum. When I got account back, I lost a will to write . Proof is also here: https://ibb.co/Vq56qjk

Last, but first thing first, just to be sure, the date is the non-US format? It's on DD/MM/YYYY, which means you wrote on first of February 2019, and you get replies --not to mention the two that's not displayed between these mails-- on fourth of February 2019. You call that slow?

Second, the statement that you lost your will to write is somewhat also questionabe, given (1) you made several post after your account recovered, so much for the lost of willingness and, (2) your post before is already sporadic, with the last entry before 2019 is 2017. If you reasoned that you've been hacked for a few months prior to the email date, you're saying you barely wrote anything in 2017 and 2018? Or were you saying that it took you two years to realize you're compromised? Or that you've wrote since 2017 to the admins of this forum and only got your ticket solved in February 2019?

I would suggest sending a PM to the accused account, if they respond that they will stop cooperating with the scammers, all good. If they dont I suggest opening a flag on the accused.

I addressed the issue in their ANN topic, so it remains to be seen if the OP replies. He was active on the forum today, but I'll give him another 24 hours before tagging his account.

I think it's safe to start proceeding with the negative tag. I tried to reach them via their TG channel and they removed me right away. I don't think they'll heed the invitation you put on their thread
