1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 31, 2020, 06:13:22 AM
Yes, it's very sad if we get lost in trading because that will be a bad experience for us. But if we can get the lesson, and we know how to prevent the other mistake, that will give us more experience in our trading journey so we can avoid making another mistake. I am sure that almost all traders make a mistake, and they lose their money while trading but I think that can make them wise to decide. If they can have more experience, they will know when the time to trade, and they will be careful to manage the risk.

For trading one need to have a skill in trading and he should know all the terms and logic used in trading. I have seen people start to trade without even knowing what is stop loss. How can they be successful if they do not know these basic things ?

When I started trading, I also did not learnt it properly due to which I made heavy losses in trading.  Sad
1842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Reasons Why I Have Lost 50% Of Bitcoin on: May 31, 2020, 05:08:08 AM
Actually I am sharing my personal experience with Bitcoin to aware all Bitcoin earners.Hope you all will not make mistakes like me.

At First I started earning bitcoin when its price was around 1000$ and then I worked in crypto for full time. And Day by Day earned 0.1 Bitcoin. Then I suddenly attracted in HYIP(Highest Yield Investment Program) investing and lost my funds gradually and at a time I left it.Then again focused on earning Bitcoin by doing micro works like Airdrops, Social and YouTube Bounty etc .Then I earned Again 0.1 BTC but now Btc Value has increased to 10000$. I have traded in many exchanges like Binance, Mercatox, Kucoin and others and bought Altcoins using Btc.To be true I earned a lot from there. But the last time when Bitcoin Dropped to 4500$ in this Year I made some mistakes by holding Altcoins and by trading without Stoploss and without any proper technical analysis.

So it hurts me when I see that I have lost  50% of my total Portfolio because of some little mistakes.I tried hard but again and again I lose funds when my total Portfolio touches 0.1 BTC..

Suggestions: That's why I think you all should be careful about bitcoin trading and focus on Altcoins when you are expert. And must avoid HYIP investments and go for earning bitcoins without taking high risk. One day you will know what actually means about success.

Both investments and trading are risky and you should not involve in them unless you are not expert. I do not invest in hype but I also have lost  lot of money in trading. The problem with us is that we want to earn a lot of money from trading but do not care to learn it first. Trading is a skill which needs to be learn first.

^Yeah this schedule is really confusing. Looking at the schedule, all the previous assumptions about IPL seems to be wrong. If BCCI is planning to host IPL in Mid Aug to Sep, I don't think it would go well as planned considering the current scenario in India.

I find everything strange here. IPL can't be held in just 3 months from now when the covid 19 situation is still unclear.
Also ICC should have focused on T20 world cup, instead they are more willing to have India Australia series in that time period.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good news from Ohio - Sports betting will be legal now. on: May 30, 2020, 05:37:41 PM
Expected news after Supreme Court decision to legalize sports betting.
All states should take the necessary steps to fully legalize sports betting, but it is only a matter of time before all states do so.
Why are people against this bill?
There will always be people who are against betting for crime related to this business, and the fact is that in order for someone to get money most others have to lose

Betting and gambling takes place irrespective of it is legal or not. So it is better for the governments to legalize the betting's so as to collect the taxes form its revenue.

@Vishnu.Reang I completely agree with your suggestions as this technique is very unhygienic, and further I’m also hoping that rest Asian countries too will ban the use of this technique in their local leagues. @7788bitcoin I doubt that they would have used saliva rather they would have preferred loosing the match, as personal hygiene is very important for them.

Cricket is a gentleman's game and unfair means must be banned. If saliva is allowed, then players may ask why sandpaper and Vaseline is not allowed. Now ICC can't specifically ban one of them and allow the other. Either both should be allowed, or all these substances must be banned. And I would prefer the latter. Let these bowlers learn how to swing the ball naturally.

They can still make the ball wet from their sweat and rub it with their pants to shine one side of the ball and thus making the other side a bit rough suitable for reverse swing. The cricket is becoming a batsmen game and all the new rules makes things easy for the batsmen. I think bowlers should be given some room to show their strength too.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you donate in a casino? on: May 30, 2020, 07:49:04 AM
I am trying to donate some of my money. But I never said to any other people except to the people who related to that charity. But if it's about to donate in the casino, I think that will depend on my mood. I prefer to donate to some charities first, but if in one time, I want to donate to the casino, I will do that, but I will do that secretly.

I think we don't have to tell other people where we donate the fund because that will be not good if we share. Sometimes, other people can judge or say a bad word to us with anything they want because some of them don't like to see us donate to other people who needed.

We should donate to the trusted charities so that no one scams us. Sometimes it is hard to find the people who need charity money and therefore people donate in casinos and other non-profitable organizations so that they may help their funds to reach to the ones who actually need them.

What other options do we have other than casinos who are accepting donations ?

I do hope that we are able to see some sort of cricket matches this year and I am very hopeful to see this series between England and West Indies. If this series is delayed or cancelled, then I am sure we will not be able to watch any live cricket in 2020.

The Indian tour of Australia is going to be the most important bilateral series this year. Because that tour alone is worth somewhere between $200 million and $250 million. So if any of the bilateral series get going, this will be the first one. That said, the IPL and the T20 World Cup will be having higher priority for both the ICC and the BCCI. The England-West Indies series may be having a lower importance, unfortunately.

All of these big tournaments depends upon the England Vs West Indies series. The first test is going to start on July 8. If this tournament take place successfully then we have some hope of other tournaments to be played as planned.

West Indies CEO 'increasingly confident' England tour will happen

Look, I can kind of understand why BCH has some support. I think it's stupid, but I can see it.

But why the fuck would anyone continue to think faktoshi and BSV has any validity what-so-ever. He clearly has no idea what he is talking about. He had to plagiarise his phD, despite going to pretty much the worst University in Australia. He has been caught lying 987,392 987,393 times. He is a state loving boot licker. WTF is going on in these people's heads.

1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 25, 2020, 12:17:43 PM

November is too far away and i don't think we have anything more to discuss about this fight at the moment. The fight final date will only be confirmed seeing the world covid 19 situation at that particular time. We can't assume anything as of now.

Wait if there's a boxing event that would happen next month.

https://www.tampabay.com/news/health/2020/05/21/boxing-set-for-june-9-return-in-las-vegas/

Bob Arum, the famous promoter is on a big mission as he plans to set a boxing event next month, if that will be positive, then we can expect that this fight will happen soon.

Nothing will be more better than this if we could witness live boxing next month. However if it is approved by Nevada Athletic Commission, it will still be without the crowd and players will have to undergo the covid 19 clearance test.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 25, 2020, 11:55:49 AM
She's only doing this because i believe she owns a chain of restaurants in some of those casinos, and its hurting her pockets to keep them closed.
Do you have an article sir to prove this, it's against the rule and law it's a conflict of interest she can be impeached if he really owns a chain of restaurants and she is more looking on her interest than the welfare of her people.

Well not her exactly but actually her husband Oscar Goodman (former mayor before Carolyn Goodman) does. He has a restaurant named Oscar's Steakhouse inside some Plaza hotel. Well looking at the whole video it does seems like she doesn't care about welfare of people and only has her own interests. She can talk about caring about the casino workers but in a way she is not caring about them also.

If that is his husband, then that is their business since they are married, and probably conjugal properly, so there is a personal interest.
Most of the politicians have business, and some business owners even want to become a politician to be in power and to protect their interest.

So for the personal interest they will want top open the casino in these days only to make money ?  Sad
This is not a right time to open the casinos and if anyone opens it, gamblers should boycott it and make them realize that they have done wrong.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 25, 2020, 11:32:21 AM
Both the England and the WI board and government are agreed on this schedule ? If this happens and the tournament is played successfully then we can see other boards take similar steps too to resume the cricket. However, it will be difficult to take this initiative and they will face a lot criticism for that too.
Yes they are moving ahead with the tournament, the curve is coming down and you cannot shut everything for a very long time, the economy is going down the drains and people are stuck at home for a very long time without any entertainment and if the cricket boards are able to resume with proper precautions and testing they can continue without a crowd gathering at the stadium.

I do hope that we are able to see some sort of cricket matches this year and I am very hopeful to see this series between England and West Indies. If this series is delayed or cancelled, then I am sure we will not be able to watch any live cricket in 2020.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 17, 2020, 11:51:06 AM
In my opinion domestic tournaments should be there to develop a cricket player and a selection process to represent the national team and some of these players will be sent abroad to gain experience.
I do agree with it, everything is commercialized and it is better to keep domestic cricket as it is as it is helping some players to make a living and if they are performing well then they can get selected for the national team and it will help in grooming young players. The reason for the success of England Australia and India in world cricket is because they have a good domestic tournament aimed at producing young talents.

The better the domestic structure is in your country, the more better players it will produce for your national team. The grooming of the crickets starts from the college level , selection to the domestic teams, moving in the U19 team and finally the best players make it to be national team. The journey of a player is full of struggle and competition.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING: Skill-based vs. Chance-based on: May 17, 2020, 11:42:31 AM
I do choose to play on both of these since I spend more time playing roulette which can be considered as a chance-based and play sometimes on a poker table. Gambling is still depend on your luck even if you make a plan for that, so just enjoy playing it and don’t expect too much that you’ll win everyday because its too impossible to happen.

Both roulette and poker are luck based. Did you made more money through Poker (as you think it is skill based) as compare to roulette ?

Almost 90% of the gambling games are luck based.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel this pressure on physical gambling? on: May 17, 2020, 11:32:39 AM
In physical gambling (whether it's a big casino or just small gambling), do pressure on your opponents or playmates actually happen? Like for example, you only set a limited capital but since your friends still want to play, you will end up using all of your money. Or let's say in a casino, you have used all of your allotted money on gambling but since your opponent is winning and he wants to play more, do you exceed on your limit? Just because you don't want to look like you are afraid, that you don't have enough money already, and that you are losing?

Many times had happened to me, but the good thing playing with my friends are:

1. If you're losing and your friend are winning, he/she can give you some kind of "goodwill" money so that you can extend playing.

2. Conversely, if you're the one winning, you will do the same to your friends

3. If both of you lose, then it's time to go home.

Sometimes you can really turn your luck around and won and give back to your friends, tit-for-tat. This is a unwritten rule between us friends, so I don't know if other physical casino players have this kind of setup with their friends.

If you are getting money in the form of lending the money, then i would not take it from my friend also. Because if my luck is going bad and i took money from my friend, there are chances that i may lose the game again and that money is lost too. So i will later have to pay my friend.

However if my friend give me some money to play more and he will not demand that money later, i will happily play with this free money.  Smiley
1856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lockdown and eCommerce and increase in online payments = Bitcoin addoption on: May 17, 2020, 10:59:28 AM
I have noticed that a lot of countries allowed eCommerce sites to continue doing business during the "Lockdown" periods. People are now forced to buy things online and then to have it delivered, where they previously walked around in Malls and shops.

So, with the increase in eCommerce, one would think that it would go hand in hand with a increase in online payment methods..right? Seeing that Bitcoin is one of the most secure online payment methods, one would also think that there would be a increase in the adoption of Bitcoin use...right?

What is your thoughts on the possibility that Bitcoin adoption might increase, because there are more focus being placed on eCommerce? Do your government also encourage eCommerce during the "Lockdown" and are you seeing a increase in the merchant adoption of Bitcoin payment options?

Let's share our experience and your thoughts on how Bitcoin adoption could increase adoption during these difficult times.  Wink

Quite the opposite will happen now.
Bitcoin adoption will now get declined as people will invest in Bitcoin to secure there savings. The world's economy has already started showing trouble. Banks have already reduced the saving rates and stock markets are going down. The only stable and still growing commodity is Bitcoin.

For e-commerce why will anyone use Bitcoin they will use there own local currency to purchase things online. Most countries already have digital local currencies. Furthermore most e-commerce website do not accept Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrencies.

I too think that bitcoin is not adopted because of this lockdown. People continue to use debit /credit cards for the payments. I also did not hear any announcement from any big store that they have started using bitcoin as a payment method. However people still use bitcoin for investment purpose only.
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Airdrop scam detected on: May 17, 2020, 09:22:03 AM
I wanted to visit the scammer's website to download the app and scan it (despite being 100% sure it's a malware) but it seems to be down. Not sure whether it was temporarily disabled or someone reported it and was removed for good!

From the email used by the scammer, it looks like airdrops is not his only scamming technique. I wouldn't be surprised if he sends you another email asking you to download a trading bot  Wink

Why did you even tried to visit the the scammer site ? Do you know they might have trogans or malwares on their sites/app which can affect your system or mobile. They may be able to hijack your system or your coins. I never visit any unknown site specially if i get such an email to visit the site and get $$$$.

Hello Friends  I am new here  some ppl go bitcointalk and earn but i dont know how i earn what i need to do here please told me how i earn some $ please
Thank You Very Much!
Are you here because of the lockdown and now looking to make money because it was recommended that you can make quick bucks here, sorry to disappoint you but this is not the place to be if you are looking to make a quick buck, you need to fully understand the technology behind the Cryptocurrency and blockchain before you can start participating and understand how to make money here.

Everyone needs to understand that this forum is not to make the money, but it can be used to advertise your skills and get good work from your skills. If you have no skills and willing to earn form bounties, you wont be able to make much money. As everywhere, for earning you need to have or develop a  skill first.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 17, 2020, 06:25:51 AM
~snip
Don't think if the government priorities at this time is to resume the cricket. The main focus of the governments is to open up the lock down so that people can go back on their jobs and business with certain restrictions and SOPs. Resuming cricket is not a big priority at the moment.
The England cricket board is expecting to resume international matches by July 8 and they will be hosting West Indies but it is not clear when the domestic season will be starting. All the English players are expected to resume training this month

There is another league planning to schedule, Vincy Premier League (VPL) T10 and it will start by May 22.

No idea about the rest of the cricket boards but hopefully Australia will follow the same path.

Both the England and the WI board and government are agreed on this schedule ? If this happens and the tournament is played successfully then we can see other boards take similar steps too to resume the cricket. However, it will be difficult to take this initiative and they will face a lot criticism for that too.

Since democrats elected Biden there already no any another result than Trump victory. I will bet a little, but it's not interesting anyway. Another 4 years with Trump is coming  Grin

Do you think that Trump is still a popular leader in united states ? He has taken many decisions in his tenure which are not been popular amount the public.
I don't think people will again vote him to be their president for another 5 years.
