2661  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont just borrow money but for the right reason on: December 26, 2021, 11:42:17 PM
There's nothing wrong with loaning or borrowing but, to be honest, it's better if we'll not borrow funds to expand our assets. Crypto investment is profitable even metaverse but borrowing to invest more has huge risk and might only lead you to regrets in the end. It's better to save before investing so you'll have all the control over your investment without any pressure.
It's becoming wrong if the responsibility that you've taken after taking that loan is making yourself a downfall. It's always better to get be debt-free because that's what really matters if you want to get up from your financial situation.
The whole market is truly profitable but if you're going to combine it with a debt that will increase interest if you're not responsible to pay it off, you'll suffer and bring that problem in the future.
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is better to invest your funds in if the alt season starts? on: December 26, 2021, 10:46:47 PM
My choice is Alts with their own blockchain, such as BNB, Matic, ADA and Solana, because the need for crypto players for a strong and fast network will also increase, so I don't think my choice above is not excessive, if I want a 5x increase in the coming year.
People those coins as "solid" altcoins. I've got nothing against with them but they could be right since they're promising and they're proving their worth as they're at the top.

Actually there are several choices of meme coins on my list, but I don't dare to talk about it before doing a more in-depth study about it.
Are they from the early stage of their project? Give us a clue on what they are so that we can do the same research as what you're with them right now.
2663  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Help btc,eth wallets on: December 26, 2021, 09:46:42 PM
I think I've encountered this type of problem before with a forgotten exchange, I can't remember its name but I understand that problem really exists. One manual solution is this:
For instance, if they have $100 in ETH and want to withdraw $70, you can recommend them to withdraw $80 and empty their balance instead of leaving a temporarily non-spendable amount of $10.

You have to recommend the users to withdraw as much as possible all that they have and put a reminder that remaining funds might be at loss so they'll be forced to withdraw all of it. Well, this is for the manual part and reminder but technically, it goes to the devs part.
2664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 26, 2021, 08:45:26 PM
Yeah, that format is hard to predict but the group stage will end on December 27, so they still have two days to see who'll get eliminated. And, it's likely that it will be SMG and Neon that will be eliminated.
Then if that's already done, the playoffs is now in by the next day.
I wouldn't count anyone out at the moment since all it takes is one draw to force a tiebreaker on the fourth playoff spot.
Well, one more day to go and there's a change on who's going to be out and it's TNC. While Neon, they got to the 2nd place in group B in standings.
But their last match tomorrow will be against TNC and I think there's still a possible lot of changes if ever TNC gets the series and there could be another team that will be out.
2665  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 26, 2021, 07:42:35 PM
Whether you want to agree or not, we don't control bitcoin. And whatever is to come by next months, it is going to be volatile the usual.
If it forms another bullish run, that's good but if not, still a very fine thing to wait. People have to realize what's the chart during the past years and be grateful for the current.
Expect the unexpected as always because its always been like this.It could really be moving sideways for long or could be greens or could be reds which is truly unpredictable.

This is what makes the market so unpredictable and very hard to guess on whats next thats why we do come up on lots of speculation and analysis on things.

If you are just a noob then you would get shocked with these events but if you are here on this market for a while then this would be just like an ordinary day.
Yes, it's unpredictable and do not expect on one trend to stay for so long. Because there's no way that it will stay for that much wrong not unless the trend has been different all of this time and it's broken it. Not being harsh to the beginners but they really have to embrace the market situation that they're in. Those that were part of the bear market as introduction, they've learned a lot there and they're stronger and more patient this time.
2666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need a bull market blow off top ? on: December 26, 2021, 11:34:01 AM
Why can't bitcoin stay between 40K to 60K and slowly moves towards 100,000K taking 6 to 8 months and no bear market. Wouldn't it be good for everyone?
It is because of the volatility. As much as we want bitcoin to stay at that prices because there's security to us that it's better to be on those prices, we just can't let it stay it there because it moves up and down, slowly and sometimes rapidly within a few hours. It's good for everyone that we have the price stable for bitcoin to conclude how much we've got in our portfolio and stays there. But as always, bitcoin has been volatile and whether we want it or not to stay at the high prices, time will come that it will have its correction.
actually bull market and bullrun has its own advantages and we really need both. the bitcoin market has a very good balance in my opinion, when the market has hit a strong hit it needs a strong catch to keep the market under control.
The advantage is on us, the holders and early buyers because we're already in profit and we don't mind selling. That's true about the market maintaining its control.
We won't see a forever increase if there's no correction. But if we see such, we should see the control with it and that's a positive outlook if you're optimistic with that behavior of the market.
2667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 25, 2021, 11:40:12 PM
I didn't noticed that there's the Huya Invitational. Composing of SEA and China region teams.
Yup, there's Huya and DCL to pass some time, though it's a bit difficult to place predictions on the Huya tournament since the group stage format is best of 2s.
Yeah, that format is hard to predict but the group stage will end on December 27, so they still have two days to see who'll get eliminated. And, it's likely that it will be SMG and Neon that will be eliminated.

2669  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 25, 2021, 09:45:37 PM
It's getting stronger and going to another higher price level for which it has to maintain. It's actually becoming better compared to the past years.
We're absolutely on the better years of bitcoin for which there's a stable and quick growth of it. That's why it has to go through any correction that we see.
It may go with that percentage of a dump but look at the gains, they're more than those percentage of the dump.
Even we are trading at multi-fold higher prices this year, people are too concerned about recent market conditions which must the problem of beginners of crypto space and for short term traders and investors. They just calculate their profits or losses from recent past and bitcoin is known for providing good appreciation only in long run. Hence, I am not ready to agree that bitcoin is getting dumped for months. It is losing some value from ATH and not from the bottom; moreover it seems we are starting another round of bullish wave which may get intensified incoming days to make 2022 a bullish one.
Whether you want to agree or not, we don't control bitcoin. And whatever is to come by next months, it is going to be volatile the usual.

2670  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the bitcoin market has been dumping so much for months on: December 24, 2021, 11:57:14 PM
It hasn't even been dumping that much though.

If you are scared about a 30-40% dump in the short term on BTC price then you perhaps shouldn't be in the market in the first place.

But the reason is very simple - the halving cycle is pretty much at its end, which is why this current correction and sentiment is the way it is. Nothing wrong with the market, it is still going strong.
Yup, true. It's getting stronger and going to another higher price level for which it has to maintain. It's actually becoming better compared to the past years.

2671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2earn games on: December 24, 2021, 11:07:50 PM
it's hard to find a middle ground in play2earn games, most often you can spend a lot on buying an NFT character, and in the end it doesn't come out very cost-effective, but still really, you need some experience in this area. For example, I am a gambler and I like to look for a similar genre of games.
That goes for unpopular NFT. There's still the search for being early and that's why you can go wrong for choosing the NFT that has been just made.
It's risky to invest in those new ones if you're still looking for one and have that spirit of being early. That's why just invest in those that have been stable for a while and with the proven solid support of its developers.
2672  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 24, 2021, 06:34:09 PM
Yeah. It's an impression to me that since the addition of Sumail and iceiceice, they're looking not really that strong. Well, that's just for me and impression.
But I know, that this team is one of the strongest. No more games left to them for the DPC and I think that they're already in for the next round.
For me it's the opposite, I still think Team Secret is good but they're just having issues adapting to the current meta as most of the mid heroes are starting to become the new position 1s and the safe lane is starting to shift to that new position 2.

They still have 2 games left on the DPC it's just that Dreamhack hasn't posted any schedules at the moment. For Team Liquid they're definitely qualified but for Team Secret they'll need to win those last two games to contest the fourth slot.
Sounds fair, the meta currently changes every update and yes, I guess you're right that the issue is about adopting what's with the new update and meta that's happening. Is this the first tournament with their new roster or 2nd? I can't remember so I think I was just expecting a lot and not satisfied with their current performance from the usual that I see from them. I didn't noticed that there's the Huya Invitational. Composing of SEA and China region teams.
2673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Delusional or not? on: December 24, 2021, 10:51:23 AM
Decentralized or centralised I don't care but in future if a new smart contract project comes with auto smart contract verification it's over, let me explain this better, a project that will run on such smart contract will be licensed, there will be no room for copycat with fake smart contract that lures people into buying wrong tokens for example on uniswap or pancakeswap,
Well, as for the fake smart contracts. We should be vigilant in checking those contracts for the tokens that we're investing with. I think it became common to be a checker first before investing because of the proliferation of scam projects that as what you're addressing.

for example a project named waki will remain waki with a licensed smart contract address, no other will be able to share same name and smart contract
This is really a problem and I've seen in the past that a few projects have a lot in common and it's intentional that they've copied cat it and that's to scam people. Still, as an investor, we should take care of ourselves.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 23, 2021, 11:41:23 PM
Odds really are encouraging but Team Liquid took the game.
Yup, they deserved that win as well since Team Secret took too long to seal the win in game 3 and their lineup didn't scale too well in the later stages of the game.
Yeah. It's an impression to me that since the addition of Sumail and iceiceice, they're looking not really that strong. Well, that's just for me and impression.

2675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is your trust rating for projects that do not have ANN thread on this forum on: December 23, 2021, 02:47:52 PM
Altcoin investment is one of the riskiest investment methods in cryptocurrency as most of the altcoins end up as shit coins and get dumped at every given opportunity or some of them never make it to the exchange thereby becoming exit scams, so what is the role of the forum play in the activities of altcoins that create ANN thread on the forum are they're better than those without recognition on the forum?
Of course they do. Especially if they're maintaining that thread and as it only shows how they're respecting the forum and as well as the people that are engaging with their thread. And if the thread is not self-moderated, that means that they're transparent.
That thread can be commented with negative thoughts about their project and they can't delete it.
2676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of work vs proof of stake? Why can't i STAKE my BTC? on: December 23, 2021, 10:06:55 AM
Do not get it wrong when there are exchanges and wallets that says you can stake your bitcoin. You're not really staking your bitcoin on them but they're giving you an interest rate because you're allowing them to borrow your bitcoin and use them to whatever other service they're offering to the other users and most likely, it's about lending.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise or fall. on: December 23, 2021, 08:20:22 AM
Bitcoin will rise and it will never back to 1$ value from the previous years when it is first traded on the crypto market.
Let's make it zero as there's been an unstoppable call that it will go to zero regardless of its current price.

The very best strategy base on what we experience is to buy and leave it in a wallet for 4 to 10 years, I believe that it will rise in the near future so buy and hold for better future.
Not really that long but with that range, it's like your retirement plan which is basically good too. Because it's not new to everybody that there are the holders that have that long range of holding because they're treating it as their retirement plan.
2678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: December 22, 2021, 11:39:15 PM
Congratulations to Team Tundra. Sadly, this isn't a DPC tournament that they've won. Well, for the DPC season, next games would be by the first week of January.
There's not that much action from these top teams until next year. But anyway, still a good game for Tundra and Team Spirit. Although Team Spirit, still has a better position as they're part of EEU DPC Division 1.
That series was so momentum based it all started well for Team Spirit in the first game then in the second game they're starting to snowball a bit then made one too many mistakes and Tundra capitalized on it.
Just too bad that tournament doesn't have a DPC point. But I guess Tundra will manage to have it for the next tournaments that they're going to join. They've got a long contract and they know their goal is to be with all of the upcoming TIs.

Looking forward on the EU derby between Team Liquid and Team Secret, I like how the bookies are giving a lot of respect on the side of Team Liquid but I can't resist Team Secret's odds @1.84 and with their current record I think they'll be needing this win in order to take one of the three major spots.
Odds really are encouraging but Team Liquid took the game.
2679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 22, 2021, 10:41:47 PM
Time flies so fast and I guess I'm getting old and have forgotten how exactly I knew bitcoin. Op, you're earlier than me when I've discovered bitcoin and that's also earlier before I'm in the forum. I guess everybody's entrance and discovery about bitcoin was because with our friend that's very curious to technologies and stuff online and that's why they've discovered and shared it to us, sort of like that the story I've got when I've been introduced to bitcoin.
2680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2021 Bitcoin market recaps on: December 22, 2021, 04:19:32 PM
The year 2021 have been a great year for bitcoin first because more institutions and companies adopted Bitcoin, and also Bitcoin did two times all-time high which was in strategic bull run season that has continued until this time that the year is almost coming to an end.
Indeed 2021 is a great year for Bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency market.
Yes, there's nothing that much for me to add as you've said. This year is a great year for bitcoin and as well as for everybody that has hold it. Despite a long wait and years of full of emotions. This year has been one of the best that we ever had. But it won't stop there. I believe that the next years would be more than this but I'm also aware that there would be some not so good years that are awaiting us unless it breaks the cycle.
