2361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and international conflict on: March 08, 2022, 06:53:22 AM
I think bitcoin is no longer labeled as a tool for criminals
There's still that belief but it's just being portrayed by the media. Despite with the adoptions that we're seeing, they never fail to tell that it was once used for illegal transactions as if the fiat has never been used for it. But anyway, we can count on it that the perspective and view of the majority have been changing because bitcoin has been useful not just for individuals but also in countries that are experiencing and conflicts just like these two who has been closed with their transfers as the banks have frozen their operations.
2362  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank’s failure on: March 07, 2022, 11:38:35 PM
It is not a failure, it's a known mechanism from the banks because they are centralized and they're in full control of money deposited into them. If you're using a banking service then you expect them to be showy that you're at their mercy and you can't do anything with every decision they make.
Good thing that we have bitcoin where we can transfer our wealth and hold it within our hands. Unlike putting your wealth in the bank, they might even give you hard time claiming your own money and wealth if it's sums of amount.

The reason behind every country have got different reasons. The ongoing war decision by Russia over Ukraine seems to be an unwanted war. Even after contempt from several countries and organisations around the globe Russia stood on its decision. Sports is part of the government and that's why sporting organization have restricted Russia. Maybe this will have its contribution in stopping the war.
All of those sanctions including the ones related to sports didn't contributed to stop Russia but they've contributed much to make their economy down.
But as they stand on what they're fighting for, they look like they're not going to stop anytime from now because they're firm with what they believe. I mean their leader is firm from what he thinks is right, Putin think he's right of what he's fighting for. Let's say that he is but he's ignoring the fact that many innocent people are also affected by his actions.

The economy of Russia will soon collapse because of this sanctions though its sad because sports are being dragged into this kind of politics, I feel sorry to those athletes who spend their life for the sports. Well the only one to blame here are the Russian government and ordinary people have to deal with this. Russia is not giving up, they still threatening other countries and looks like he is willing to go all out on this war.
Yeah, it's sad that they're in lining it with their political stand but it's all about war and that's too much already. There's no problem if it's just a normal politics that's happening inside Russia.
But, it has included and destroyed a lot of facilities, buildings and lives inside Ukraine and that's why they're making this stand. Although in generalizing Russians, not all of them are agreeing with this war.

Actually there are many of them. Just hover through this Gambling section for all of the sports book and see their bonus and deposit pages.
Just like these sports books:
https://www.bk8btc.com/promotion
https://sportsbet.io/promotions
Those are the few that are on the front page of the section.
2366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Interesting odds, bonuses and promotions on: March 07, 2022, 10:38:57 AM
Winz.io has some interesting promos that you might want to check guys. They have a promo as welcome slots bonus: https://winz.io/promotions/slot-bonus
There's no wagering bonus but just make sure that you read the terms that they have. Aside from that, they also have some bonus for the other games, it's just on the same tab page just as the slots.
2367  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 06, 2022, 11:20:56 PM
Great advises and hopefully the new casinos will take time on reading and analyzing on which part they lacking. In the past, I've seen those threads that have been posted and made but upon looking at their website, they're incomplete and not yet finished and not yet ready to launch.
It is an important thing that before they launch, everything is prepared and well done so that their customers are going to see that they've been made well and not just toying around with possible deposits that will be made.

If the casino itself is sincere in launching their gambling business, they won't publish their site half-way of their development. Because this will give a not-so-good first impression to players. Also, it will give a notion that they are in a hurry to possibly attract naive players. If you are here in the forum long enough, you already know by now how to spot substandard casinos. If you are a casino owner, before launching your platform, more than likely, you also did your tons of research especially if you are venturing the crypto casinos.
But out of excitement probably, that's why they're announcing a portion of their casino before the launching. It's not yet finish and they're telling it but what the gamblers want is a fully-finished casino where is ready to deposit and withdraw funds upon winning. Not just a portion of it and then a need to wait until it's wholly done. It's like a trailer and a peek for them to show to the possible gamblers that would like to play on them.
2368  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic effects after Russia blocks Facebook, Twitter, etc.! on: March 06, 2022, 10:31:25 PM
It is painful because citizens that has nothing to do with the war are hugely affected. If it's just about messaging, AFAIK, they still have their own social network which is the vk.com and they can still talk about everything there.
But with the big impact of these bans on popular social medias, the revenue that their country might get from this and those that have businesses running on those platforms, they are truly affected.

the main purpose of the sanctions is to force the Russian people to cancel their support for Putin. all the restrictions so far have been aimed at them.
Even if they cancel support for Putin, they'll be arrested for what they're standing for. Too bad that the Russian people doesn't have a choice. Despite that they like to cancel and stop supporting Putin, they're forced to do it because they're at risk of being jailed.
It has now come to this point that Putin should realize that he's doing no good to his people and he's just pushing his own agenda against Ukraine.

2371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: March 05, 2022, 10:55:20 AM
There's no need for a grand strategy or what, it's simple. You buy bitcoin and hold it if you're looking to have a higher price of it in the future. As for having a maximum profit, I think that you'll miss that part because it's always that there is a circumstance of our lives that we have to use our last choice through selling bitcoin, might not be all of it but a part of it. So, you're missing the whole point of getting the maximum price or profit. And even if you sell today at its ATH, there will be another ATH that will break the price where you've just sold it.
Not everyone understands how the bitcoin market works so advice like this in no way warrants them trying to convince themselves to buy and hold in the long term. Beginner traders are more concerned with short term profits and they can understand more about buying low and selling trades high.

Long-term holders are not day traders or “most” retail traders but they are experienced investors and know about the potential bitcoin might reach even if they had to weigh all the risks. Like early adopters, they are the ones who manage to get the most out of bitcoin after considering the long-term risks.
Yeah, we're not day traders but anyone who's a long term holder can also be a day trader at the same time. That's whichever strategy you'll be ending up.
The long termers will still beat that strategy as per experience. It may not be able to be understood by the newbies but I'm sure that many of them would like to here a say from an experienced person on how to deal with the market and what's a better thing to do for them to be profitable.
2372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Usdt is safeheaven and usdc on: March 05, 2022, 09:10:46 AM
Usdt and usdc not volatile and you can send them fast and cheap.
Not cheap when you choose the wrong protocol like in ERC20. It's true that choosing the right network or protocol makes them cheap but there's also the fact that it's expensive if it's erc20. But as of now, seems like things are in favor of everyone that the fees have been dropping for ethereum network.

Bitcoin not good as safeheaven as one day it goes up other day low.
No, it's the safe haven if you are for the long term. There's more investors that are putting their money in bitcoin and understands the risk of its volatility. But there goes the stable coins if you want to just keep it on its stable value.
2373  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The world of sport reacts to the Russian invasion of Ukraine on: March 04, 2022, 09:06:28 AM
I'll probably return to the topic about which OP is talking about.

I note that I heard in the sports news that the organizers of almost all international competitions now began to exclude not only athletes from Russia from competitions, but for some reason this also spread to Belarusian athletes and sports teams.  As far as I know, Belarus is not participating in this military operation, its soldiers are not fighting.
Why such discrimination?
With the same success, you can safely exclude athletes from everywhere, for example, from Iran, Mali, Somalia, North Korea.....
And what kind of international competition will it be? .... Some insanity and idiocy.  Sad
I also saw in the news that they're not joining the war. But I guess this ban and exclusion of Belarus from these sports committees and organizations is due to the claim of Ukraine that Belarus is joining the war. Apart from that, I don't see any reason for it and I'm still researching most news about it and one other is probably because Russia and Belarus are allies.
2374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: March 04, 2022, 03:15:28 AM
Of course it is very good to invest in bitcoin if you use the right strategy. In order to get the maximum profit from bitcoin investment, you can buy when the price is low and sell it at a high price.
There's no need for a grand strategy or what, it's simple. You buy bitcoin and hold it if you're looking to have a higher price of it in the future. 2375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world running out of Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2022, 02:05:58 AM
Running out by 2040 due to electricity consumption? The difficulty is truly increasing but you should also consider that technology is getting on upgrades so despite the power consumption issue that's always been brought for mining bitcoin, why these articles and people that are against on it don't address other industries that have been consuming more and destroying our natural resources? If it's about running out of bitcoin, add an estimation of 100 more years on it and that shall make the supply limit reach and we're no longer alive by that time.
2376  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 WINZ.IO 🚀 $150,000 WINTER BONANZA QUEST ❄️ UP TO 300 FREE SPINS BONUS 🎁 on: March 03, 2022, 10:36:26 PM
Just got a 105× hit of the base bet amount on the Lucky Lady Moon game from 30 free spins (by getting the 3 scatter twice). That's not a big multiplier or big win, still it is something decent to be shared Wink. I just tried the Tuesday free spins promo with LTC deposit. I have gotten good result from the free spins, but I wasn't lucky enough in the end.
Still a win, big or small consider it a win!  Wink

Eventually I lost the deposit and free spins winning amount when I tried the other games.
Well, that's gambling and still congratulations for that hit before you've lost it. I think that you've felt overwhelmed when you've got these wins and free spins that you should be able to use them while you can and as much as you can.

Does it matter how long ago the participant's account was created and the number of subscribers to participate in the "Twitter Giveaway" lottery? After 7 days the winners will be randomly selected ?
There's no specific rules about that question of yours so expect that it's a yes as long as the rule for that contest is being followed just as what they've tweeted.
2377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin likely won't recover until 2025 on: March 03, 2022, 09:35:24 PM
The market is unpredictable and expects Bitcoin to enter a bear market and likely to recover until 2025, I still hesitate to rely on the four-year cycle model because going forward the pattern will not be the same in the past four years cycle. I'm sure that we won't have a bear market this year. I think the bitcoin price still has the potential to continue the bullish trend, but I realize that a big correction is likely to occur. Therefore, although there is no certainty when the bear market will come and recover, those who HODL bitcoin in the long term will benefit greatly.
It's actually expected that bitcoin should have entered bear market by now. 2025 is quite long as it recovers, a year or two would be sufficient for its recover.
But is there a need for recovery while it's setting itself for a better price while where it came from was actually low years ago? We've been having corrections even during the bull run last year and for this three months of 2022.
2378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Cautious and take Caution. on: March 03, 2022, 08:36:28 PM
Thanks for sharing this truth. Out of emotion, many are really going to donate to Ukraine through crypto as it's the easiest way of doing it.
But scammers have seen this entry for them to take advantage of the situation. They don't have any feeling and heart to be concerned not only to Ukraine but also to the victims that might fall to them.

Hi everyone!
What is coindix ?
I am new in these things and I have a lots of questions in these parts so please help me with these!
Never heard of the website but as I check it, it seems a list of defis. It's like any other defi that has vaults within it, listed on this platform. I haven't used them so I don't know their authenticity. But looking at their twitter account will you give their description.
They got 5k+ followers: https://twitter.com/0xCoindix
But there's not that much interaction from most of their posts from their followers.
2380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PoW coins becoming a rarity these days on: March 03, 2022, 11:05:50 AM
Have you ever wondered why most altcoins turned to PoS, while only a few good-old coins are still using classical PoW consensus? As much as people want to make money by "staking" their holdings, most cryptocurrencies are becoming less-decentralized over time. There's strong criticism on Bitcoin's high level of "energy consumption" compared to other cryptocurrencies being traded on the market today. Some say the cause of PoW being a rarity these days is because they aren't "carbon-neutral". Others say that PoW is "outdated", compared to coins using PoS which are faster and cheaper to use for day-to-day transactions.

If the number of PoS coins continues to grow, then Bitcoin will be the only decentralized cryptocurrency in the world. Should I be worried? What are your thoughts about this? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley
They can never change the fact that PoW is safest than PoS. It's okay if most alts are going to convert into PoS. But it will never happen to bitcoin as we're for the security and stability of it.
While for PoS, it's prone to manipulation and I guess the idea has been passed on for every project as it seems reasonable for them to turn to PoS. But there's nothing to worry about if you're not all for altcoins and you have a big portion for bitcoin.
