2381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble what you can afford to lose on: March 02, 2022, 09:40:15 PM
Nothing new, a gambler losses much money and looks for someone to blame for their action. It's irresponsible gambling and that seems to be a guy that hasn't grow up with his attitude.
There will always be those gamblers that will blame someone if not the casino for their misfortune that they chose and decided to do.
2382  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 02, 2022, 08:36:29 PM

Most of the news that we get is from the west and anything that comes from Russia is unsure if it's really coming from them or it's already been changed and modified by any source that covers that.

I am not sure where you got that idea. There are many pro-Russian and pro-Kremlin media outlets online. And, of course, there is a massive propaganda machine in Russia to support their view of the world.

Keep in mind, though, there is no such thing as "free media" in Russia. All media is subject to state control.
The Russian federal organization responsible for controlling and censoring the media, Roskomnadzor, recently issued a statement [1] instructing the media to "only use information and data received from official Russian sources."

So, if you're already skeptical of Western media, you should be doubly skeptical of any media that is controlled by the same people who created this conflict.

[1] - https://rkn.gov.ru/news/rsoc/news74084.htm
I've just read some posts about it and that made me think that it's possible and that's probably a propaganda and the agenda is to really confuse people like me and so I was confused. That's why I'm going with several sources if a news that I've seen is legitimate or not.
Thank you, it's really making me think more about the authenticity of the news that comes here and there and that's why we have to validate news coming from any source.
2383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses Russian Ruble - now top 15 currency on: March 02, 2022, 07:32:41 PM
What happens when the war is over and things go back to normal, this can affect the price because not many of those who bought would want to hold. What's your opinion.
I don't think so. When the covid 19 has hit the world, many have been worried about bitcoin's price and it went the opposite. Now, that the world is turning back to normal, the effect is still there.
And the same goes for this Ukraine-Russia war, we thought that most economies would collapse including bitcoin but, we've just seen the surge on its price. It's very likely that when things back to normal, the effect will remain to bitcoin and people who have held it during the war are likely to hold it.
2384  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Southampton football club and Sportsbet.io launches an interesting hunt on: March 01, 2022, 05:42:03 PM
I won't join but good luck to whoever will hunt that 1 btc. True that it's a good and interesting way of advertising one with another.
I think we're going to see now these type of advertising just like what's with the super bowl and Coinbase has did. It is what I've thought of after reading that it's about treasure hunt and qr codes.

If the hunt is 1 Btc,it will be the best opportunity to earn huge money with a short period.Even I don't participate on such hunt.Because my opinion for gambling was not same on all the website.I had some luck towards the less amount with a less money.I don't try of huge amount like this.I had not blame this one.If the coinbase had their hand towards this, their may be huge investments in this.
Of course, it is. You'll have it the soonest and quickest if you have ever hunted it. We don't have to participate in it if we already have given up and that's why whoever wins it then good luck.
It is simple, we're not for it and there are people that are for it, and let's be happy whoever takes it. Why would you hand over this on Coinbase? I don't see any relation to it unless you're talking about the wallet from them. Not wise though to keep any amount there in my personal view.
2385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is going up during war? on: March 01, 2022, 04:32:14 PM
Ok first of all I have really given up on trying to understand bitcoin behaviour, I remember so called experts said that bitcoin will touch 100k by the end of 2021 and we all know how much accurate that prediction comes out to be, then there is El Salvador we thought it will touch sky after El Salvador made it legal tender but it crashed.

And now i thought it will go new low and now it is going up, like what is happening, why it is going up in such situation of uncertainty and war?
It's just a normal sequence for the entire market that we get a surprise squeeze and then a sudden pump. You can think of any world issue when bitcoin is pumping.
And when there is bad news that's being published by news/media, the market suddenly plummets. That's really an unknown act but you just have to get used to it. Soon, we'll get to see the real reason why the market has been up and we might be surprised if it plummets again.
2386  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 01, 2022, 09:59:38 AM
I'm on it if a company is being run by a Russian government or its allies and they are funding the Putin administration we should boycott these companies but if it's if the company is independent and its administrators are no known allies of Putin then we should not lay hands on it, right now in the news there's a big panic among Russian because their currency's value the Ruble is now weakening and they cannot use their card that is part SWIFT, because their banks are not accepted anymore, they are making git h ard for the Russians so they will realize and ask the government to stop the aggression.
That makes sense, if that casino is funding the attack then you have a clear conscience of boycotting them. But we don't know and we don't have any leads if they're doing so.
Most of the news that we get is from the west and anything that comes from Russia is unsure if it's really coming from them or it's already been changed and modified by any source that covers that.
2387  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: stake.com- Does not have gambling responsibility on: March 01, 2022, 08:18:14 AM
That's already to much and Stake shouldn't be accountable for gambling addiction already. It's a matter of self-discipline. A gambler must know when to continue and when to stop for his own benefit. Sometimes, we tend to blame the site of our losses and mistakes which is unfair. Maybe it's the best time for Op to know whether he's being efficient in decision-making when it comes to his gambling journey.
The problem isn't with stake but on the person who is op. A lot of valuable posts on the first page explaining what has happened to him. There's no reason to blame the casino where he's playing.
There could be some of the same cases for other casinos and they're also dealing with. This is a problem that's hard to accept if the gambler is already addicted and he's kept on losing with his money despite the self exclusion that was made.
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▄■▀■▄ BITVEST.io WIN BY PLAY INVEST➡ | BET CONTEST ▄■▀■▄ on: February 28, 2022, 08:07:13 PM
we like the bitvest and I wish lightlord good health! I am sure that bitvest did not block anyone, as I saw this site in the blacklist of Roskomnadzor. Some don't even know about vpn and they will leave losing their funds;\  We need a "mirror" to bypass the blocking as it is done on other sites or something similar at the discretion of the casino admins to access the full functionality of our accounts.
It is interesting that they'll have their mirror sites because just like any other casino, they also have their own. So that whenever there's a problem with their main domain.
They still get to have a backup for every customer that they have to visit with the mirror. I think these days, a mirror or mirrors have become common for such a business as a casino. Possibly in the future, bitvest will have it or they actually already have but we just don't know.
2389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need team for upcoming project on: February 28, 2022, 12:26:54 PM
Sounds good actually if you become successful. But every startup isn't sure about their success in the long run unless they're committed to working with the project.
I agree with the folks above about making sure you pay in BNB and not with your token. Founding members would be totally fine with that because you know what's your mission and vision. But having new personnel on board, they aren't sure of what's for them in-store and would likely to prefer a more credible crypto to get paid.
2390  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any way to track down a guy on Binance on: February 28, 2022, 10:09:26 AM
Since Binance unlikely to help since the victim can't make legal action, you should consider another way to track the scammer. Do you know what communicated method is used by the scammer? It's possible the scammer leave sensitive/personal information which could be used to track.
LM has mentioned about that they're in a facebook group, my guess is that they've likely transacted through chat on FB's messenger which can easily block and delete messages from both sides.

But he never explicirtly mention the victim use Facebook to find and contact the scammer, that's why i asked.
You're right, possible that he's been blocked already and cannot search the scammer anymore.

Although, there is a possibility that the scammer has given some information about himself to the victim before the transaction has proceeded. Maybe like a phone number, address or any possible lead.

That's exactly what i hope, especially if the scammer keep reusing same information/contact method.
Yeah, it's very likely. IIRC, there were scammers that have always been using the same information. I'm hoping that they get a lead from the information that the victim has so that there's a possible chance that they'll get a trace of him.
2391  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any way to track down a guy on Binance on: February 28, 2022, 07:55:50 AM

I tend to agree with this, the conversations become useless as proof if the scammer knows how to delete their conversation of FB's messenger and it seems like on Telegram that you can delete message both parties.
Yes, in telegram it's the same. Scammers can block the victims easily and can delete messages as well.

I have a little confusion here, how did the victim know that the USDT used by the scammer has come from the Binance address?
Because it's hard to determine which address comes from.

It's good to hear if OP will give an update on this and how they will resolve the issue or if the Binance staff give information to the victim.
It's actually possible. Try to look at USDT's contract address: https://etherscan.io/token/0xdac17f958d2ee523a2206206994597c13d831ec7
You'll get to see where the transfers are being sent. It's viewable on which exchange it has been sent or where it came from.

If you and anyone who's interested in sending help and aid in Ukraine through cryptocurrencies, there's no need to go through an NFT. It's better to just check the addresses they've posted on their twitter account: https://twitter.com/Ukraine
They have it pinned so that everyone can see it immediately. Just check the account and it has 1.4M followers and is verified by Twitter.

2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What's a pleasant way of marketing? on: February 27, 2022, 10:32:43 PM
You know what's a pleasant way of marketing that type of NFT game you develop? Fund the game itself and allow players to actually earn easy to trade token. If it's your own token, have a quick exchange that will make them play more so they'll earn more tokens to trade for bigger cryptocurrencies. And also, allow a free to play version of it which makes players allow to earn as well. When you do that, you'll have the freest marketing ever because it's the people who have tried to earn and enjoy that game of yours are going to be your marketing partner for free.
They'll speak and voice out as they spread the good news of what you have developed.
Funding the game when there's no investors will most likely drain the developers money itself, it should be a marketing where it could attract a potential players that would create a content or a content creator player plus the developers will do the job of marketing or find a marketing specialist to advertise about the game. There are certain ways to advertise the game like video ads in a different social media platform.

If OP can fund the game then it's best to find a beta testers for the final release.
Marketing is easy if there's a fund. He can just hire the best marketers that would certainly hit him miss or big but more of a chance that he'll get attention and the exposure that his project needs. But after that, people would go with the application and start playing the game.
When there's money from the game itself, the flocks will come and they'll be the one to share it to their friends and families that they've earned on an specific game. Even it's just a little money, for sure that there will be more users to come and there goes the next step of whichever is written on project's whitepaper. But as he implement that, he has to have an anti-cheat system for the possible abuse.

2395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc and future value on: February 27, 2022, 08:34:49 PM
On the contrary, Bitcoin will never replace fiat but will continue to provide an alternative role and a digital currency.

On the contrary, this is not only possible, it is happening. During the last few years Bitcoin has witnessed a major evolution and global adoption. The concept has become easier to understand and used for the general public in most parts of the world. Take El Salvador for example. Moreover, current events in Ukraine and Russia clearly demonstrate how cryptocurrencies are more advantageous than fiat money and the traditional banking system.

The technology behind Bitcoin has advanced and Bitcoin is not only used as a currency but also to store value and make investments.

As an alternative, I'd agree about it. But if a country has been stopped to use those systems that they've been traditionally using all over these years with fiat, they'll have no choice but either to use their own system and it's like a close border system that only them can have it. Or, to have open transfers, they can use bitcoin on it. Whilst these countries that does have some issues with the traditional system and they were stopped, bitcoin is a good option for them. They'll add up to the value of the market and eventually will realize that it's not just a payment method but also a store of value and a kind of asset that they'd love to have.
2396  Other / Archival / Re: Anti-military airdrop in support of Ukrainians on: February 26, 2022, 05:33:53 PM
So kind of FTX and Sam. Well, a good initiative from him and his team and let's see what's the top exchanges got to offer for the Ukraine citizens that are struggling right now.

Exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Bittrex, of course, will not participate in this, they can only impose sanctions against Russian clients.
Yeah, that's likely and they'll have to be neutral as much as they can or else their business will have to face a huge consequence with their action that go against the USA. They have to be careful on this.
2397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: February 26, 2022, 04:23:56 PM
I personally currently choose to invest my money mostly in well-known and still cheap altcoins such as bnb, dot and matic because I believe these coins are stable and once there is a high increase then these coins will follow and I will invest some of my money in meme coins.
Good choices but surprisingly, why go with some for meme coins if you know that you're already holding these good altcoins to invest your money.
But that's your decision if you're going to invest in meme coins, it's just a few part of your money and you're already invested in some of good altcoins. Not that bad to diversify in some altcoins as you wish.

If you want to invest in cryptocurrencies then the most important thing is to make sure that your finances are good, so when we invest in cryptocurrencies we think it is the same as losing money so we don't panic and stress, there are too many sad stories because of selling assets or going into debt to invest in cryptocurrencies and they lose money so they are still in debt and assets can't buy anymore.
Even you don't have a good financing, you can still invest in cryptocurrencies. It is an open market that everyone is going can invest. Free for all as they say and it's all about the freedom and decentralization that the government doesn't have.

2399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price goes down as Russia begins Ukraine invasion on: February 26, 2022, 08:17:29 AM
the instability of the situation, worsening politics made the owners panic so that some wanted to secure their bitcoins and some took the opportunity to add to their collection.
so don't panic quickly to see the movement of the graph decreases slowly
keep holding your coins to 0
Holding coins to zero?
I guess holding right now is still a good move despite the geopolitics that has been happening which is impacting the market through the owners. Many have panicked but also many didn't. It's all about the confirmation of the market that makes every one of us react depending on the situation. When the war startled, the market crashed but just after a few days, the market showed how strong it is.
We can never expect for bitcoin not to crash because its always observed that every time there are crisis happening, bitcoin price always gets affected. With the present war, i think this will push for some institutional investors to sell their bitcoin assets and prefer for fiat to sustain from the current crisis, but some of them have also the power to hold and are still hopeful that everything will be back to normal. More than that, bitcoin will also not stay having a low price, it will also try to increase as much as possible but if this war continues, prices of bitcoin and altcoins will be on and off.
I don't think that quick will make them sell off their entire bitcoin asset. Maybe just for a quick profit but eventually they'll buy back those sold bitcoins at a mark up. That's how these institutional works for the profit. It's known that cash is king when there are events like this but people are getting smarter these days, you can't buy anything if you're in the exact place of the war. But if you're far from the scene then you don't have to panic but you can go along with the market and profit from it.

OP just became active 3 days after he has posted this bot and never got a single reply again. Now, for such bots that are existing and making it encouraging and attracting because they say that it's "profitable".
I'd avoid anyone who says that and gives a guarantee. Bots aren't giving guaranteed profits although they're helping to automate and make your activity easier.
