2601  Economy / Economics / Re: LEGO Sets Are Better Investments than Stocks, Bonds or Even Gold on: January 08, 2022, 09:22:30 PM
I have watched many videos of those big guys that are overwhelmed when their girlfriends have given them a huge Lego set toy. I thought that it's just personal happiness but there seems to be a market value that can grow eventually overtime. Someday, there's really going to be a big value for those good conditions since everything and every toys have their collectors that wants to display it somewhere in their house and the process of collecting it gives them happiness in return of having a greater value as they purchase.
2602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice on what to consider when making an investment ? on: January 08, 2022, 12:43:53 PM
What's up guys, I am relatively new to the crypto world and although I've read a lot and watched countless videos on crypto and how to do your own research, I was wondering what are the most important aspects of a project, and what are the most important factors and things to look for. If you could give me some advice on the resources you guys use that would be really great. I was also wondering if someone could explain to me what is a vesting schedule and what a good token distribution looks like vs a bad one.
Everyone will start to tell you about checking the team of that project you're interested in investing. It's where you should start, determining on who are the people working on that project will give you an idea if they're reliable and could give you the confidence that they can deliver what the project's whitepaper is promising. You're also going to see if a part of that team has already good or bad experience in managing and being part of a project.
2603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you have a chance to become a VIP what casinos will those be on: January 08, 2022, 10:11:35 AM
what extra benefit for become vip ? right know im more often play at csgo500 and rollbit. i like play at casino that have unique game option or feature so i would choose between these two.
It depends on the casino where you're playing. You can view the benefits of being a VIP. Like in the casino you're playing as you've said, csgo500.
They have a page that explains what are the perks that you'll get being a VIP. https://500.casino/vip
And that's the same for the other casinos that you're going to check out what are their perks for being a VIP member of theirs.
2604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 08, 2022, 08:51:25 AM
I've read a few articles on the web which indicated you could get rich with just 0.01 BTC. At first, it seemed crazy to me considering that Bitcoin is still below $1m. But then it started to make sense after knowing that the pioneer cryptocurrency was designed with deflation in mind. Each halving had a positive effect in BTC's price, so one would guess the next one will lead us to a BTC worth more than $100k. To become a millionaire with 0.01 BTC, the price of one Bitcoin must be $100m. Prices are still volatile, so I'm having my doubts whenever I'd really become rich with just 0.01 BTC or not.

What do you think? Is it really possible to become rich with 0.01 BTC in the future? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Smiley
Maybe, depending on the location where you're going to value that 0.01 BTC * $1M. Let's make an example of putting that into $1M and that would be $10K in valuation. If it's in a third world country, that would make you at least financially stable but if we're talking about 1st world countries, that isn't really that much less the taxes. The most important thing to do is don't settle just for 0.01 bitcoin and hope that it will make you rich, the goal is to stack as many bitcoins as you can.
2605  Economy / Speculation / Re: are we going to have "fear" months? on: January 08, 2022, 07:27:11 AM
My guess is that it would be by March where most of the time during that month the fear starts. As the price reflects in the past that on that particular month, the price of bitcoin usually fell. But no matter what people will come out with these months, no one will stop me from holding.
And if I get to have some spare budget, I'll definitely buy as long as it's under $50k and even it goes under $40k or $30k, those prices are good to stack some bitcoins.
2606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't bet more than you can afford to lose. on: January 07, 2022, 10:37:53 PM
This is not the first topic with such question. I had told this few times before, but should repeat: Do not spend more like 10-15 % of your earnings on gambling. With 2000 dollars it will be like 200-300 dollars per month. If you're spend bigger amounts, i thing you're a bit addicted to gambling.
That amount is already acceptable but IMO, someone who's addicted to gambling will really rely on how much he gambles. Maybe that person who spends that much can be said as addicted but also, in small amounts, someone can also be addicted.
If he's doing that everyday and most of the time, despite doing it with a small amount but the activity has increased overtime, that can also be considered as addiction.
It's okay to gamble on a daily basis as long as you stay with your limit, going beyond that will already result in a problem unless you are very profitable in gambling which is not the case for most of us since we know that gambling sites are profitable and we are just most likely losers.

We don't talk about winning here, most of the time we talk about losing that's why it's necessary to have a certain budget in gambling so it will not affect the entirety of our life if we lose.
Yes, nothing wrong if you bet as much as you can on a daily basis but make sure that it's intact with the budget your set. But if you're going wrong and you're gambling too much, you have to change your activity and lessen it if it's already affecting your tight budget.
It's where many gamblers are caught wrong when they gamble on a daily basis and when they're out of funds, they'll still continue and use the budget that's out of their plans.
2607  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin collapse or mature? on: January 07, 2022, 09:21:04 PM
Right now I'm still waiting for a bullrun for bitcoin, but if you look at the current conditions I doubt that bitcoin will experience that change, indeed everyone believes that in the future Bitcoin will experience an increase, but not in these two months in my opinion, the future of crypto is very dependent on the development of bitcoin , if in the future a total correction will occur, then this will greatly affect the development of crypto as a whole, believe it or not, look at the conditions that occurred before.
Didn't we just passed on a bitcoin bull run? Why wait again if there's a bull run that just ended? There's fact in what you say, there's a possibility that in the future most of the alts will be lesser and they're all reliant to bitcoin and that's for sure.
No matter how many altcoin projects are in development and they're good at it, still, many investors will look up to bitcoin because it's the main market maker.
Maybe he wants to make a profit from the next bull run and not feel satisfied with the last bull run. We should admit that the bull run can be over right now and we need to wait for some time to see the next bull run. As the price is down a lot from a few days ago, we should be ready if somehow, the price will still go down from this time. But bitcoin will have another bull run in the future and so do with altcoin will have altcoin season so instead of just waiting for the next bull run, we can use this time to buy any coins that have the opportunity to increase later.
He said that he's still waiting for it, he missed it because it's already happened. But if he's going to analyze it, starting from 2020 up to this time, bitcoin has increased a lot. Just a span of less than a year, still, bitcoin has made significant gain. Whether to admit the bull run is done or not, the price of bitcoin is considerably good no matter how low it may go. And people who are thinking about collapsing, they're out of their minds and that's completely out of this world if it's about the idea of happening to bitcoin.
2608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How Much $ Have You spent On Ethereum As Gas Fees on: January 07, 2022, 08:14:54 PM
Honestly I do not mind airdrops made for something like this. As in, giving out tokens for activity. Airdrops given for amounts held used to also be a thing but that only gave whales advantage.

I would much prefer if they just took snapshot or you entered your address only instead of connecting wallet,,, then make a smart contract where addresses entered can claim. Now you have to connect a wallet to a site you do not know,,,
I also prefer that. I remember when my ethereum address shown suddenly a token that I didn't know that I purchased because I really didn't. There's a smart contract that would distribute their airdrop to each of those wallets that are eligible for their airdrop during the snap shot. But with this, I know it's safe but I'll choose not to get on it despite I've paid that much gas fees.

2610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin to Proof-of-Stake (PoS)? on: January 06, 2022, 08:43:29 PM
Dogecoin has already lasted long even without development after its main developer left it for good as a meme coin. Now with working developers that are going to make it as a POS, I think that it will become better as people sees it only as a meme coin. There's now the significance of holding it if it becomes POS. But props to Vitalik, before proceeding on this venture, he should have focused more with ethereum development than any other.

2612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor and bitcoin on: January 06, 2022, 09:59:22 AM
Not that bad to recommend it to a newbie and watch and hear his thoughts. But it's always the reminder that I'm telling to the people who asks me if it's good to invest in bitcoin. I'd always told them that it's the same as other investments that risk cannot be removed. If they see people who have been boasting their profits, it's not an easy way that they've been through. The risk that bitcoin has is higher than the usual investments that we have but since I'm always optimistic about them, I'd told them that the risk is paid off and worth it.
2613  Economy / Services / Re: New Freelance Website That Supports Crypto on: January 06, 2022, 08:43:59 AM
I think you need more marketing on your freelancing website. You must also include what are the cryptocurrencies that are supported by your marketplace.
It's also easier if you can just show all of those available job posts at once and no need to categorize all of them since a visitor will not know on which category does have all the possible job posts available.
2614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Could Gambling Legalization be a positive thing for Brazil? on: January 05, 2022, 11:36:21 PM
I was just speaking with someone from Brazil and they were telling me about how hard it is for someone there to safely store their cryptocurrency. Apparently buying a hardware wallet is like 40% of most peoples monthly take home pay. So yes, if you legalize gambling, that’s only going to bring in more income for the country which could help make it stronger which could help the people as a whole. It’s a good thing in my opinion.
It's actually a good thing and sad to hear that they're having hard time to buy their own hardware wallets. But they have an option to just download some wallet apps that still allows them to hold their private keys. While they're saving for a hardware wallet, they can do alternatives that they can.
As for the gambling industry in Brazil, any source of taxation that's legal, it's always for the good of their country.

Because if they will not make it legal, gambling will exist underground and the government will have no share from this black market. So why not make it legal instead so government can get something out of it, right? Because gambling will always exist anyway. Also, the government can also help these gamblers run after the casino if in case they will have complaint about them.
That's right.
If they want to get some decent taxation from it, they just allow it yet prohibit and put sanction for those that won't register their casinos. Upon legalization, they're making the market open and these operators won't hide from them anymore. And likely, profit from these casinos might increase because they have the confidence due to the fact that they're registered and backed up by the government.

2616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start learning about metaverse? on: January 05, 2022, 09:29:17 PM
There are a lot of them and these days, the NFT games are considered to be metaverse so let's take that description. But in reality, it's requiring the players to be in a new world which is the metaverse and the interactions are happening there. Transactions, deals, etc. the same as the normal world that we have. That should what metaverse is but with the standard that currently we have, it's just like living in a new world or game that we're playing especially for the NFT games.
2617  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Nexo - Anyone got any experience with them? on: January 05, 2022, 05:51:39 PM
I have no experience with them but they're also known due to the fact that they're offering good rates for their earn interest. Since you're already aware that upon depositing your funds there, you're no longer the owner of it and you're risking it because if anything bad happens to the exchange and your funds are affected, they may deny the refund. But to give you some hope, some exchanges that have been hacked, those reputable, I've seen them refund.

2620  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid crisis leaves Sri Lanka on brink of bankruptcy on: January 04, 2022, 01:19:08 AM
Aside from this crisis and bankruptcy, the other bad news that I've read in Sri Lanka are those kids that are left by their parents that have passed away due to the virus. It's sad and more problems are existing due to this pandemic.

But I regret why China got involved in this crisis after they wanted to help?
Yes, there's the help but there's also the inner intention of what they want and that's why they're helping. This is not only for Sri Lanka but also in many countries in South East Asia and as well as African countries. It is the known debt trap of China.
