2741  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as enforcer of responsibility on: December 06, 2021, 11:23:52 PM
The governments are aware of how powerful bitcoin is. That's why some of them that have understood it is starting to think of banning it if most of their people will get to see its true potential. This is the negative reaction that some governments do but, there are those that are very optimistic about it and don't follow those skeptical governments. As an individual, we've understood how inflation is going because of the continuous money printing by the government and owning bitcoin is completely a good counter to it to avoid.
2742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won $550,000 gambling on sports this month on: December 06, 2021, 10:13:28 PM
I must admit that I envy you such a big win, but I envy even more your experience, knowledge and skills to place bets for such a lot of money. Congratulations and I hope that someday I will reach a similar level to yours and I will be able to open a similar thread here.
That's just the first thing that we think of when we see people win such huge amounts. But that's okay, we're going to have our huge wins too.
Now, the matter for OP will start on how he's going to maintain that profit he made. Will he gamble that again and lose all of it since it's just a gain to him or he's too wise to control things and will put it for the better of his living?
2743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice technique on: December 06, 2021, 02:54:54 PM
I don't know if this is technical or not but I always use rhythm when I'm in the game.
For example if I want to do a loop for more than 100 times I always make it into several separate loops. I always do a rhythm of 10 rounds at a time after that pause for some time and then play to the next round.

I think this applies to me. Don't know if this will have any effect for anyone else but I always do something like this when I'm doing games
That applies to you, so if that's your technique as others are looking for, specifically for OP. Then, that's good for you but not everyone will have it work.
There are strategies that we have built on our own or what we call as you say, rhythm. If it works for you, it is used to what you do but really not applicable to everybody.
2744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 06, 2021, 08:23:15 AM
My question is... do you guys believe there are chances for the Rockets to participate in the playoffs this season?
There is a chance but it's going to be hard for them, look at their standing, they're one at the bottom of their conference. It is going to be a hard and long way for them to go to the playoffs.
But who knows if there's luck with their team and nobody gets injured and their next matches would be theirs. It's really hard to say confidently but the chance is very low.
2745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 06, 2021, 06:56:15 AM
I own different crypto and mostly I stake with them because I am interested in the long return. With bitcoin I am actually doing nothing. Can you suggest any strategies to make even a little APR? I know that I can't stake with bitcoin.
If you want to stake it, it should be into a specific platform. But the twist, is that you're not holding the keys of it. That's why there's no staking in bitcoin.
And the actual is that you're lending your bitcoin to that platform, most likely it is an exchange and they'll give you a return for doing that. Not that much and not worth of the risk.
That's the difference if you're holding your Bitcoin and staking on it on a good platform exchange, speaking of a good exchange that can be trusted to hold your asset might be hard to choose right now.  Because you will never know when they will become shut down or there is a hack that will happen.

Ain't against staking even though you're not holding your private key but of course, don't put all your eggs there.  It should be the majority of your assets you have control over your private key and the rest is that you can afford to lose.

However, there's no one beat on holding, it gives a guarantee when it comes to the security of your assets.
Even the best exchanges, you just can't be sure with their security. Just be safe and convenient holding your bitcoin with your private keys and there's no need to ask for more about staking. But if you insist, then you've been told about the risk that you're going to deal with.
As said by the others, holding is the best so if you're just holding and you think that you can get more through staking, do it with another altcoin that you afford to lose.
2746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Copycats good for the industry? on: December 06, 2021, 02:13:22 AM
There are real pros and cons to having it open and close source. If you want to be liked by the community, you'll choose to be open source so there's no need for them to have long discussions about their source code since it's viewable in the public. And there are those that have their own reason why they want to keep it close sourced, they know that there will be questions about them not disclosing their choice but eventually, they'll just go with their product and service at its best. And the fall back of this is the trust of the community.
2747  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bcgame | site scam on: December 05, 2021, 11:59:04 PM
After 3 months of no activities here in forum , now popping back just to put this case in wrong section?
That's three years mate. His 2nd post was made on 2018.

if you are really filing a case against Bcgame then you must put complete proofs and also follow the instruction given above on how to put your thread and accusation in right section.

but after another weeks of no activity  this thread? now it looks like you are just making noise to bring the site down .
Yeah, another week of no logging in just after he has posted. These accusations should be done with a proof and if it's just about talking like as if they've been scammed yet they really lost the game and their money, it's just a blaming matter.

2749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you actually using/buying NFT's, and Gaming Tokens? on: December 05, 2021, 04:23:13 PM
I'm a game fan, and I like 2 games from Sand Box and Axie Infinity, of course it's very fun if we play games and get earnings, maybe the earnings I get are still small but I'm sure one day I can follow the legends who can earn up to thousands of dollars per month.
These two games are very popular. They're profitable as everyone is already on it. But with the current price of SLP for Axie Infinity, it seems that the team of the game doesn't really push for the price of SLP to go up since it has an unlimited supply.
They're focusing more to their governance token which is the AXS and that's why every time they release an update, it's likely that AXS would be the only one getting the increase since it's going to be about the land gameplay soon.

I've watched some Dota 2 match today and I think this is the debut of the new roster of Team Fnatic and as well as Team SMG.
Well, team SMG just went a full sweep against Team Fnatic. Moon, who once became part of Team Fnatic for a long time, won against his old team.
2751  Economy / Economics / Re: In 2021 to 2022 you decide your life and wealth on: December 04, 2021, 10:37:38 PM
I've pushed myself for the past months and later on found out that it didn't do good to my health. So balancing is still the best, health is wealth as they say.
Yeah, we're the one to decide what will be in the next few years and holding on my crypto investment. I'm hoping that by 2025 or even before or after that, the market's too grown that I can even sell a few sats without regretting because it's value is already up.
2752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good metaverse tokens. on: December 04, 2021, 09:35:22 PM
Just go to coin tracker websites and you'll see many of them are listed.
https://www.coingecko.com/en/categories/metaverse
The top listed coins are the most common and everybody does know that these metaverse tokens are the most popular and we all have an idea what they are.
2753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading and it uncertainties on: December 03, 2021, 11:46:09 PM
Cryptocurrencies are very volatile. However, what we need to know is that crypto trading is not always profitable. In managing trades with a market that changes every second, it's important to know we have to open trades within a timeframe based on an analysis that will pump for the future. Talking wrong in analyzing we can still do HOLD. And we must be prepared to wait until the market recovers.
It is a reason why those with uncertainties have the best choice and that is to hold. Well, holding isn't easy as well just as trading. If you do no good in trading, maybe you can be a better holder.
Effortless yet you also take the market's volatility that much because by just looking at it, you're part of the market and you do nothing when it drops thus, you're also buying during the market corrections.
2754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Flippening: Will it happen? on: December 03, 2021, 04:51:30 PM
It will never happen.
We know that BTC can't do what ETH can do. But no matter how big the ecosystem for dapps for Ethereum including the NFTs and other projects, it will not flippen or even be par with bitcoin.
I think this has been on discussions for so many years and when ETH goes POS, security will go for bitcoin as the better.
2755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casino key features!? Looking for a players advice! on: December 02, 2021, 11:57:43 PM
Just make the withdrawal accessible for many cryptocurrencies and as well as deposits. That's one thing that many gamblers want. If we've got some spare altcoins and there's a casino that supports it, we won't mind to deposit and gamble it if it's just a spare.
And make the support very reachable, I think these two are the main features that one casino should have. You don't have to be that friendly though but as long as your support is very conversational, that matters.
2756  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinexmy.com on: December 02, 2021, 10:57:34 PM
There's not that much information about this exchange and if you've already deposited any amount there, make sure that you'll withdraw it upon knowing the thoughts of everyone.
If he indeed send funds there already, chances that he get those back are too low and its good to considered as lost.

To op if you check google, which you probably don't, you will know that its a scam already as there is an already existing exchange called coinex, and having another coinex website is probably a red flag.
Yeah, too bad if he's still got funds there. He has to act quickly before they delay or make it hard for him to withdraw his funds.
Hopefully, that he's going to get those funds back to him so that he won't have any problems anymore. This is really why the newbies should just trade to known and reputable exchanges.
2757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For those holding BTC for the long haul, do you earn interest on your stash? on: December 02, 2021, 09:56:03 PM
I have been reading up on some interest accounts out there for BTC and Altcoins and the yields are really good especially when benchmarked against fdic insured fiat.

What’s your take on this? Is this a good or bad idea?
Not a bad idea but I don't choose to get with those interest rates for holding bitcoin. I'm good as I'm the one holding it and not any platform that would take more than the interest that they'll give to me. I feel secured and better if it's on my wallet and I'm the one who has the private keys on it. The growth in value of bitcoin is already good to me, so whenever the price goes up, that's the already the reward for me and for the others too.
Majority would really be having the same mindset when it comes to this interest or staking on where it is much better if they do held off their coins on their own wallet rather than entrusting those coins on a platform just for you to earn small interest.

I feel secured too when you do know that you do possess the private keys of that wallet on where your coins been stored. You could sleep confidently
without worrying on something like that.

Basing with the risk is something depending on someones preference so its up all to you.
Yes, it's all up to us. But the way you keep your bitcoins is much more of a priority than to look at those percentage that you'll gain. The profit you'll get in staking is also available by just holding it.
People tend to have the little percentage gain plus the value going up and it's a win for them. But for us, we're already good holding it and we're enjoying looking at the price increases of bitcoin.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin dump, Ethereum pump! on: December 02, 2021, 08:56:47 PM
Recently i saw eth has pumped more than btc but it doesn’t mean that eth could win race with btc. Even it still suffering to reach 1eth=0.1 btc. People come crypto market mainly for btc, i doubt that large number of people don’t know about other currencies properly except bitcoin. That's the reason, why big organisations only accepting btc as their payment method except others currencies Btw i guess, day by day eth and btc both will increase & thus percentage of dominating btc would be same as now.
There's no need to race and comparison for these two. Bitcoin is always far and superior from ethereum and that's the reality that everyone has to accept.
No matter how huge the gain of Ethereum, there will always be the time that bitcoin will have its own huge gain too. And that makes the market better if the gain starts from bitcoin.

Well, OG's new lineup got a great debut and showed how strong they are. It's still the start of the tournament and Team Secret can still make it up with their next matches but that good start of OG is impressive.

It seems like Secret really underestimate these two youngster from OG but oh well I kinda expected that OG might win one game but didnt really expect it to be 2-0.
It's a great surprise isn't it? Let's see if the next match of OG would be the same as the result against Team Secret. Well, this DPC season is quite boring since the other matches are going for another day. Unlike the other matches, they're in everyday.
But it's fine, this is a 4-week tournament and OG's next match up will be against new Team Liquid, with zai and matumbaman. Still another greater team this time.
