1921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoins will be launching this summer...Is it worth it? on: June 27, 2022, 02:39:19 AM
AFAIK, Sweatcoin isn't really a new token. I think they were already there for the past years and became popular once but after that, they didn't materialized with their popularity. Not until the coins like stepn came that has the same algorithm as them about walking.
I would like to earn while getting some pounds off of me but whether they're going to be worth it to take or not as an incentive, we should really have that routine of getting healthy through any means like walking.
1922  Other / Archival / Re: Are you ready to see Bitcoin at $10 000? on: June 25, 2022, 09:58:27 PM
I don't want to think that $10k would be the bottom but if it's based on historical data and facts of the percentage during the lowest, then we just have to prepare whether it happens or not. There's also the sense that it's totally different this time because no one anticipated that the all time high was $69k before the bull run happens. And when it did, our expectations became that much that the last cycle will make bitcoin $100k before it plummets. So, I'm thinking of the same thing that we're expecting something low as that but it may not happen, hopefully not.
1923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake platforms for BNB on: June 25, 2022, 08:36:10 PM
It's 3% in 21 days. Still a lot for staking.
Hmm, that's quite high just for 21 days but if it's the amount that it shows for staking it, then that's considerably a steal for you. I was just checking some rates and apy from mycointainer and I think it's justifiable as to why Binance got that high percentage and as well as I've checked also some other platforms like Abra but it has a lower apy and only a few supported cryptos and bnb not yet there from their pool for staking. You've got various choices for each platform so take your time and DYOR for you to have that confidence where you'll delegate or stake it.
1924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: June 24, 2022, 09:18:24 PM
at the age of more than 45, I think many of them seem to want to develop assets that they already have. by choosing cryptocurrencies and they use cold money, most of them are more prepared to deal with crypto volatility than people aged 20-30 years. I think psychology is the main obstacle for young people, because they are developing assets, and not infrequently they use money from anywhere to multiply their assets.
Most likely, they've got tons of cash that they can invest or they're cash broke but with hefty investments. For the younger ones, it's all about fear. They want to be assured of something that they want to invest but honestly, they're the best shape to take risks because they can just take it again with higher chance of success unlike the older ones.

In my experience the age group form 20-40 is also way more in the mood to show off and talk about their investments, since many of them are actively investing or searching for something to invest in that moment. If you are 45 or older you have already chosen on what to invest and only put in a percentage of your income in that asset. For many people this is not as exiting anymore and just party of daily business, so they are not really talking that much about it anymore.
Based on stats, that's much likely it is but still can't ignore the fact that many of the older ones are still unsure of which path to go because not all of them are open for investments.
1925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next ALT season year ? on: June 24, 2022, 07:47:19 PM
Next halving bitcoin s the best answer.
This is right and most likely when it'll happen. We're talking about the season is here and we're done with the bull run and the bear market is in. Of all of those, we've got the best so far but if we'll relate it to every bull and bear run. It's likely that the best bull run is going to replace and will be better than this one. And as you ask about the altcoin season, what do we usually see before it? A bitcoin push and pump, so should you be seeing the sign, make sure that you still got bitcoin with you.
1926  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Age of bitcoiners on: June 23, 2022, 11:52:04 PM
I rarely meet investors at an already respectful age - more than 45. I think that people at this age either no longer think about such investments, or I just don’t know such investments.
You probably just haven't met one. But in real life, I've met usually from 20-40 and a few from 45 and above when I've attended those gatherings that are related to cryptocurrencies. At that age, they should be more into investments and mostly, they're still a working class that has a lot of it expanded and scattered in many investments which includes bitcoin.
1927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake platforms for BNB on: June 23, 2022, 10:56:25 PM
You should understand that if you're fine for holding it, you should just hold it. But if you're also trying to make out from it while holding it, you can stake it but make sure that you choose the right platform and understand what custodial and non custodial means and as well as centralized and decentralized. Based on the info from the website, all of those altcoins that you've mentioned are supported in ANKR and MyCointainer.

Still, it all comes with the idea of DYOR for all the platforms that you may meet for your staking needs.

Thanks!
You're welcome. In times like this, we have to do something to save our finances. And we're trying to find out what are the good ways of generating passive incomes with our holdings. But, if you don't have that much, it's still ok because it still earns a little and that's better than completely having no income at all.

I've checked on binance stake, the 21 days is 52.34%, is this real?
AFAIK, it's quite high and usually those APY means that it's the rate for the entire year. And if it's just 21 days, you still need to compute that based on how much it will project for 21 days resulting to 52.34% per year if that's what you've seen.
1928  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 22, 2022, 11:39:24 PM
I think the best option for non-traders in this market is to accumulate POS cryptos with high APY staking rewards (like NEAR and ICP) during this bear market. When the bull market resumes, you will have an extra 20% of crypto you can sell.
Not that the best option but that's a good idea. And what you must put into the best option is to buy bitcoin. So, if you've got bitcoin and you did that as the first choice and step. Then you go ahead with that idea as the next choice that you might do.
It's a brilliant idea to have all of it but nothing beats the strategy of owning bitcoin first and more of it than any other altcoins. Although I'm keen with those two that you've mentioned and I guess that you've been doing that.
1929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stake platforms for BNB on: June 22, 2022, 10:47:05 PM
I've posted about staking in some other thread. It's not just for Ethereum but also some of them have BNB.

Yes, staking is one thing we can do in times of market conditions like this to keep making a profit,
but then again not everyone can do that and they also need to consider,
Top altcoins like Ethereum, BNB, or Matic I think it's worth buying and suitable for long term investment
If you're for Ethereum, stakingrewards.com suggests top 10 staking providers.

1. Binance staking - custodial
2. Kraken - custodial
3. Bitcoin Suisse AG - custodial
4. Stake DAO - decentralized
5. StakeWise - decentralized
6. Guarda wallet - decentralized
7. ANKR - decentralized
8. MyCointainer - custodial
9. Cream Finance - custodial
10. Blox Staking - decentralized

You should understand that if you're fine for holding it, you should just hold it. But if you're also trying to make out from it while holding it, you can stake it but make sure that you choose the right platform and understand what custodial and non custodial means and as well as centralized and decentralized. 1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Solend story reminds us the value behind BTC, its true decentralization! on: June 21, 2022, 10:32:31 PM
I was optimistic on them when I am starting to see that they are gaining traction but that's not enough for me to buy it.
No doubt that bitcoin is still the best and its network is secured as it is. The holders of sol might start to think if they have to sell it already if it is not looking good anymore for them.

1932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Consultant Needed $$$ on: June 20, 2022, 09:31:33 PM
Actually you can do this for free and just leave the project on the thread and let the critics come and tell you what they honestly think about your project. But since it's part of your condition that you don't want to get anyone to talk about it to the public. I guess this is the type of project that you must be working hard very well and the idea that shouldn't come out before you launch it. The pay is good and I think you'll get more reviews with legitimate people if you post this on the Services as said by Abubhakar. There are actually good reviewers there that will definitely give you the best impression that they've got for your website and everything on this project.
1933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are bounty programs or airdrops more profitable to participate in? on: June 20, 2022, 08:21:03 PM
Which of these methods of earning free crypto should I pursue?
Profit there are unstable and if you've made so much there then that's good for you. I rarely see people nowadays that have been telling that they're making well off from these two. Usually, in bounties they've got a higher chance of success than airdrops. Gone are the days when most airdrops have been making decent money after the launch of their projects but today, if you're lucky that have chosen a project then that's on you and you can literally say that it's profitable because you're the one that have chosen that airdrops. Bounties and airdrops are just incentives so any of them you pursue, just make yourself aware that they're not stable.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: June 19, 2022, 10:43:37 PM
Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hit 1000$ soon. Plz give your opinion.
IMO, yes that it will reach $1k but not to soon. You need to keep yourself patient while waiting for it because we're still in a bear market and notice how long it shall be there.
No one can tell you if this is going to be a short bear market or we're about to see it end soon. Well, as the price of bitcoin goes up again which is a sign that the market is going up again. This could be a sign that we might see it up eventually but don't celebrate yet as we don't know if this is an actual recover or just another trap that will shake again the weak hands.
1935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: June 19, 2022, 09:30:43 PM
I think the market will start to strengthen at the end of Q2 and enter Q3 where the current market conditions will have a stronger movement and if we look at the current market conditions start to form an uptrend price pattern this week and we have to shop for coins at the end of last week shop for some coins potentials such as BTC, BNB, ETH and LTC, these are some of the coins to buy when a bear market occurs.
Those are good options, I'm found of choosing LTC before but based on what it did this past bull run. I don't think that I'll it anymore, it's still good to own the other three and they're on the top list. I don't mind keeping them for long and I think they're the best of the best in the market so if you're someone who wants to have a good choice for your portfolio, have them three. They're not like those altcoins that have made people wealthy through the pump and dump and as well as the hype that it has created but, you're likely to have a peace of mind having them.
1936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Survey Shows ADA Is the Most Widely Held Crypto in the Bear Market on: June 15, 2022, 11:25:31 PM
What a coincidence, someone just posted on my social that ADA is performing better than Ethereum this week. And what he has said that it's all about the vasil fork that is about to come. I'm not an investor of ADA but this time when the whole market is bloody, it is making me greedy to buy those that I want including altcoins that are potentially going to come back better than they were. It's not about surpassing the ATH that they have because I'll leave that to bitcoin and ethereum but about the potential stability that these altcoins have. It seems that if you're a big investor for ADA, you shouldn't just buy and invest on it but also take note on what's happening with the development because there's so much more.
1937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 14, 2022, 11:24:01 PM
now, I have a question, do you think the man is entirely at fault or someone should also be responsible?
I believe that Japanese people are one of the most respected and most disciplined people in the world. I think we've just seen the entire effect of being addicte to gambling. The man who mistakenly sent him money was at fault but even it was mistakenly sent to him, he should haven't touched the funds and do whatever he wants from it. He's aware of the consequences of the actions he has made and also, maybe he's itching to gamble and after seeing that money on his bank account, it has ticked him to gamble no matter what happens and soon if he wins, he'll just return the money. But, the unexpected has happened and he lost all of it, now, with the consequences that he understood before doing that action, he has to pay it.
1938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Its One Too Many on: June 13, 2022, 12:13:28 AM
I will not mention any particular gambling casinos, but what are your thought if the casino or casinos with good feedback from the community, but with one unresolved scam accusation but from all angles, the accusation is legit with all the screenshots, transaction hash email conversation are provided by the complainant lets say he is not allowed to withdraw his earnings amounting to $100k but from all angles the accusation is valid, don't you think with thousand good feedback, its enough for the casino to lose his reputation with one legit accusation.
Depending on the situation, I guess this is a situation that casino who's accused of delaying the withdrawal of $100k is still manageable. But it's different compared to those complaints with little amounts. So, it's like a combination of many complaints into a bigger amount that they have to solve. What was the problem with this one and the reason for the delay in the transaction? If it's a valid transaction and it's being delayed, there could also be a valid reason why it's being put on halt. With that one problem being solved and existing, this will make the other huge bettors stop betting huge sums of money on that platform. But I don't think that many of them will stop gambling there, they'll just reduce the amount that they usually bet.
1939  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: June 11, 2022, 11:05:14 PM
I work for a credit repair company and one good piece of advice she gave me is to create and emergency funds.
And remove all unnecessary expenses from life. Be it TV subscriptions or magazine which you buy and not read. This too was very helpful and i save some extra bucks.
Having an emergency fund is a common thing to do. I've heard it all from the finance experts as they say and it is what they're highlighting at most times. The span of emergency fund that one should have could be like 3 months worth of his salary but the majority that I've heard said that it should be 6 months worth of your salary. And the situation should be even if you don't work, you're going to last with that money until the said period of time. Buying unnecessary things will get you nothing, if it's like a craving or just something you want to have but you have no purpose or urge of using it, you're not spending wisely. That's why those subscriptions that you don't really use, cut them off and they're just sucking your money monthly. Instead of buying magazines, it's worth it buy a book that you're going to read and if it's related to finance and money matters, that will help you how to save, spend and invest better. It's just a matter of priority on what you must buy, it's okay to spend for things that you don't really need but don't do it at most times. Sometimes all you need is to reward yourself and you know it when you must spoil yourself, be it a hobby, an item, a collection or anything but you must save to buy it or use your profit from other source of income to buy that thing.
1940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 07, 2022, 11:06:00 AM
Today's the start of the DPC Tour 3 Division 1 which leads up to the final major of the season which is the PGL Arlington Major.

I already have my pick posted on the other thread and took it because of pure value as bookies have a bit of trouble evaluating teams with their new players on the first few days and tend to overvalue certain teams due to their performance at the major.
Good luck on this bet. While everyone is on this match, I've just seen the update on the new roster of NaVi. Still got NaVi fans here? I'm not familiar with their pos 3 and pos 4 players. Other than that, pos 1 is Vtune, pos 2 is no one while pos 5 is solo. NaVi still an experienced team with these experienced players and hopefully with their debut match on June 9, they'll showcase themselves against CIS Rejects which they've got a former teammate from Virtus Pro and was also a former NaVi, 9pasha.
