2101  Economy / Gambling / Re: Video Course of BlackJack for people who want to learn BlackJack on: May 10, 2022, 08:06:09 PM
I only know the basics, and the Video will probably be of great help and hone the art of playing BlackJack. I call it art, it's about strategy and it takes thought. It's not easy to play until you become an expert.
Well, if you've got plans of being an expert. You have to take several sources that will teach you the best strategies that you can use as you play blackjack. But going on this video course alone, many have seen it being useful as they've come to learn and try the game itself.

But at least knowledge in playing BlackJack is not only applied in games, but in everyday life where everything must be with a careful plan to execute a decision. The BlackJack game teaches it all.
I guess in every game, there's always the lesson that's applicable in our daily lives.
2102  Economy / Economics / Re: Tanzania's Move to Introducing Their own Central Bank Digital Currency on: May 10, 2022, 07:03:35 PM
Even the news isn't completed or completed. I guess the world and each country is starting to see the relevance of cryptocurrencies and they're all sharing the same idea of having CBDC.
That's all they can do to have a sense of support for cryptocurrencies because they can't regulate the whole market. But, through the CBDC, they'll have their own centralized crypto.
2103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Between $24K and $27K on: May 10, 2022, 06:06:23 PM
Three things stuck in my mind this week:

1. It might take a few more months before BTC's price finally exits the bear market. That is if we have a similar situation to the 2018 bear market where fear and greed levels plateaued for a whole year.

2. BTC's price free-fall will slow down between $24K and $27K unless more macroeconomic and geopolitical risks emerge.

3. Short-term holders are responsible for most of the capitulation (day trading and scalping don't fall in this category, right?).

But one thing has a high certainty---the bear market is temporary.

The bull is not a matter of if but when.
1. The same goes for last year, the bear market didn't stay for long.
2. That's likely if we're going to see the lowest for this bear market. It's even possible that it will go potentially to $20k just for the sake of volatility.
3. I guess they're all included with that but, mostly those are the investors that have been shorting with thousands of btcs.
2104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 10, 2022, 09:13:37 AM
Secondly, no gambling can be a source of stable income,

If you are the owner or host, then it can be a source of stable income.  It might be difficult for a player but many professional gamblers made a living out of gambling.
As an owner, before you make it a stable source of income, you need to make it a popular casino so that it can operate without having any problem to think of about how many users are in your casino.
I agree that it could be a great source of income if you're the owner but making it as popular as the others, it will take time for you and requires a lot of hard work in doing so.
2105  Economy / Economics / Re: Historic Moment for Real Estate as House is Sold for 3 Bitcoins in Portugal on: May 10, 2022, 07:35:05 AM
It's better for their company not to accept any recommendations yet. It should come from them that they're willing to accept bitcoin and not just rely on some news like this.
I know that it is ideal and we're all bitcoin enthusiasts here but to have it risk for their company's status and finances, they have to think of it very well before they do such actions.
2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Terra Luna bringing the whole market down? on: May 10, 2022, 03:53:23 AM
We know algorithmic stablecoins are new and risky. UST is backed by Luna, and the foundation behind Luna bought so much Bitcoin I believe they're now amongst the top 10 holders.

If UST loses its peg against the dollar and Luna isn't enough to bring it back up, the foundation will have to sell some of its BTC to keep the peg, which applies sell pressure on BTC and brings it down along with the whole crypto market.

Is this what's happening now already?
I was impressed by what they've been doing a few months ago about a continuous purchase of bitcoin. Now, we're seeing the expense of it and you're right with what you've said. As they try to maintain it through possible sell-offs as their stable coin is about to downfall, we actually are seeing its fall, and if this continues and isn't able to maintain its position as stable. Possibly that we're going to see the domino effect of it but, this isn't just all about UST and Luna. But this is an overall experience of the world market which still has an active conflict of Russia and Ukraine.

I guess it's like generating of just some words that could be said as private keys. If there's a program like that then you saw how many successes that website has been made. So, how many?
I don't think that you're able to get even a penny from those generations of private keys.
Agreed, and these are some form of trap. Not even a single private key can be generated and used to recover funds of a wallet which is in custody of another user holding the real private key. It is good not to enter such websites.

In the past I've tried some of the multiplier scams which directs you to download software and run it. In such a way I lost little bitcoins. So, never enter such websites and later these websites might request for funds to generate private Keys. In particular the beginners should be informed about these kind of traps.
I highly doubt that there's a program that will be able to generate a private key that will have an actual fund. Reading those mathematical fact on how it's possible to happen, that's already enough to be convinced that this is a website and program that's really made to just generate random words. Like what we did before when I was still in school learning how to code but I'm a failure on it. And as well a good take and warning from odolv.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worth investing? on: May 09, 2022, 05:52:38 PM
Does it makes sense to target layer 1 scalable projects with web3 integrated? I know that layer 1 aren't that good anymore or let me say almost dead hype but what about those that want to integrate web 3.0? For example Oasis Network.
Well, there's a big upgrade if that happens. But it's not all about the tech if it's old or not or has to be integrated with web 3. It's about how huge is the market of it.
So if it's marketable, whether there is no or with the integration of web 3 as it is tradable then it'll still going to be popular. However, this isn't applicable to all of them.
2109  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: May 08, 2022, 11:46:35 PM
The most important one of the trusted are,you need to update the kyc.Actually we don’t like to share the kyc for the game to share our personal details.
We all don't like it but have to embrace the reality that when they've started asking you to comply, can you do anything with that? I don't think that there is but to comply and submit what's needed.
It's because usually, they'll do that when you're about to withdraw and you can't. So, you have to do whatever they ask for and what it takes for you to take your money.

KYC is going to be required soon. Today we can only see casino asking these documents when you are about to withdraw big amount of winnings from them.  We can all be paranoid with whatever the reason but I can see best reputable casino provide a reason which is not so you can't withdraw, the KYC is so they can provide it whenever the government ask them these data.

Man casinos in bitcointalk that has no scam accusation making them the best too. But few stands out for me like fortunejack and crypto.games (this one has new domain) but we knew them for a long time.
It's actually required by many but it's like lowkey requirement until you withdraw a huge amount or suspicious amount on them. I guess each casino has a scam accusation.
But the reputable ones, they're like the minimal or normal problems that are related to the withdrawals. There are some about the cancellation and not honoring of bets.
2110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why we should Buy some Bitcoins on: May 08, 2022, 10:47:20 PM
Bitcoin is currently trading at a good price and now is a good opportunity to enter the world of Bitcoin. If you've not bought bitcoins yet, this might be your best opportunity this year.
Bitcoin is currently trading at $ 34,493 and the bear market is coming to an end. Also, another good thing that will definitely affect the price of bitcoin is halving.
Big investors! One of the main reasons why the price of Bitcoin does not fall much is the presence of large investors. These investors do not allow the Bitcoin price sink lower.
We'll always say the same thing about buying bitcoin. It's all about the decision of being long term on it and each dip is going to be a good opportunity.
We may not know that this dip could be the lowest or there will be another one that's going to be a lower price. But as you buy, make sure that you're decided and whether it goes low after buying, you have some spare money prepared to buy again.

2113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: May 07, 2022, 10:47:23 PM
You don't think if you're going to buy with small amounts. What's important is you're buying and you're adding little by little to your total holdings.
Do not underestimate the amount that you're buying because it's one reason why many have profited on the last bull run. It was because they've accumulated every single amount that they've decided to buy when bitcoin's price was still low.
2114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russians collectively hold about $130b in crypto on: May 07, 2022, 09:53:30 PM
They are just showing to us that there is a safe haven .. an escape from the sanctions ... that there is a solution around them . not just showing certain numbers for nothing , could be mean they are holding nothing bbut bullshit , could be a serious one as well as they are planning to accept cryptocurrency as a payment method for the gas & oil exports.

What an extraordinary way in the middle of crypto community uncertainity. wish just it would happened.
We all thought about it and it's no secret so they have an option to avoid sanctions. Or not actually avoid it but an alternative that has been there sleeping and they've not noticed it before.
But now, that they're in an economic downturn, this is what they've leaning on and any country can do that. That's actually a big money that they've got in reserve on crypto.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN Project Should we Enter Now or Exit on: May 07, 2022, 09:29:59 AM
Good example of AXS and take the example of Axie Infinity as well. The hype was at large when it pops on all social media and the community went go crazy.
And for sure many of us here got the hype and rode it as well although, the earlier ones were able to ROI and get the profit the quickest that they can. Whilst for the late comers, they were stuck and this could also happen for this project.
2116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: May 06, 2022, 05:59:17 PM
Someone says in this thread that this list is not updated and that is why US and Uk are not included, my country is not listed as well because gambling is not good here, there's a lot of issues and many people like the illegal local gambling than those who have the licensed under the government.
There is a possibility that other list have those countries that you guys are looking for. Just look at the dates of it and there will be changes that shall be made for it.

I think more countries that are not on the list spent more, I don't know what is the basis for this but for  me since US has Las Vegas I think they should be on the top list, and most of the online gambling sites knew is created in the US and UK.
Yes, there will be other basis that authors can use if they want to use for others to see if they have their bias or none. Anyway, is this type of list that much important? Maybe.
2117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Elon Musk buys Twitter on: May 06, 2022, 12:35:27 PM
Profit from Crypto allows Elon Musk to buy anything, now Twitter and maybe the next will be a lot of top sites that he likes will be purchased, but I hope after Twitter is purchased it can be successful and better,
Do you think that he's able to make billions from just crypto alone without the contributions of his other huge companies? Well, at his rank of his wealth, he literally can purchase anything he wants. But that doesn't mean that he's able to buy all of it at the same time.

don't be like Yahoo who bought many sites and fails so it is bankrupt.
It's different on them, they were offered to be bought for a huge amount and then they declined after years, they were forced to accept an offer that's low and far from that high offered price.
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs SOL vs AVAX vs MATIC on: May 06, 2022, 10:21:00 AM
Which is the worst and less promising coin of those 4 major coins considering staking is available for ETH and SOL @ Kraken (no staking for AVAX and MATIC)
I wouldn't say worst but I'm not thinking of getting avax for now. The other 3, eth, sol and matic, it's part of my plan to get some of those. Actually, I've got ETH already and the other two is what I'm about to accumulate soon. There's a recent problem that has happened with SOL but I think that's not a big problem for me as it's fixed and the devs will keep on working on it to avoid future the same problems that they've met.
2119  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive income : Bank interest vs staking on: May 06, 2022, 09:17:30 AM
Staking is very profitable and I have done it for 2 years in several Dex and Spot Exchanges, of course when compared to Bank Interest is very far, and in my opinion staking is more worth doing, for example I Autostaking in Pancakeswap and gets APY about 65% because I focus and make a coin What I stakes as a long -term investment.
65% is actually high for a yearly interest but I've seen quite good projects that have almost the same rates. But the risk with that is you don't know if the same value will be made after a year or even half or a quarter of your stake.
What's better on staking is if you choose the flexible terms, you can get it anytime. The same with the banks, before it's hard to find those terms that are flexible but right now, I've been seeing offers that have flexible terms.
2120  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 06, 2022, 08:19:21 AM
What the thread creator says is fine for those who have no idea about personal finance, but it is very basic. The only thing I would add is a point about getting rid of debts, especially consumer debts, and especially if they have a high interest rate, such as credit card debts. I would not recommend investing with credit card debt at 20% interest.
I agree, majority has a debt to be cleared of and those that can't go on with their next chapter and can't save that much are those that are in debt. There are folks that even they can't bear and pay the debts, they're still making use of their credit cards so the interest are compounding and that's a bad debt.
With what businessmen does, they're acquiring good debts because it's helping them to have additional capital for their business but this isn't for everyone.
