2441  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Binance action revitalize Nigeria community? on: February 15, 2022, 09:46:08 AM
Binance is one the top leading crypto exchanges in the whole world, they're well known in providing selfless service delivery. In a situation where by they found some unsecured transactions, they will definitely suspend all the suspected accounts, because people use any opportunity to cheat, so if Binance found out this they will definitely restrict all suspicious people and do further research. I think they are capable of protecting Nigerian Binance users from froud.
I think of the same that Binance is being responsible for their actions. If they have to suspend a specific user's bases geographically, they have a reason for doing it.
Well, it's not that they're going to suspend those accounts all of the time. After finding out a solution for the security and protection of their users there, they'll eventually get back to you with a better ruling and protection.
2442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A lesson to learn here I belief on: February 15, 2022, 08:27:11 AM
Our weakness, especially I always want to sell all the coins I have by the time it reaches ATH. And that becomes regret. Whereas as you said, not every ATH is the last ATH.
A sell is only becoming a regret if we see the price goes up again. But what if we sell at the right time and the price didn't go up anymore? It is very difficult to determine if that ATH is the last.

Indeed, when I did that (sell the coins I have) I made a pretty decent profit. But when I think, why don't I just sell some of it or in other words I only take the capital I spend and for the other part I hold on for how long I want.
That's the good strategy that everyone must do. When you're about to sell and it's not an emergency and forced sell, you can always have this option to make so that you still have remaining funds on hold. And when there's another round for a pump, you're not going to miss it.
2443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why a single bet is better than a multi bet. on: February 14, 2022, 08:56:07 PM
I do single bets and I don't think I'm confident with multi bets. That's why I'm avoiding it and I'm sure that I'm better with the single bets.

Actually, if it looks profitable for multi bets, I don't think there is anything wrong with that, but with a note the risk involved is quite good there. But indeed, if we still want to be safe, single bets are the most appropriate thing to do because indeed the difference is only in risk, I think because the risk in single bets is relatively smaller when compared to multi.
For some bets, it's certain that I also made a single bet there, but for those that are still vague in my predictions, sometimes I'm in a multi bet.
There's nothing wrong doing that but it's all about the preference and experience that we've managed to gain. So, if you're too confident and you're doing better with multi bet, stick to it.

How these currencies will affect the bitcoin/crypto ecosystem?
I'm thinking of the positive that there will be another pair for bitcoin from these CBDCs once they release. All of them will eventually come and will buy bitcoin.
That's the only thing that I can think of if it's about the contribution of these CBDCs because honestly, there's really no effect at all to us if we'll try to find one.
What only matters with them are that they're government-backed.
2445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia's approval of BTC on: February 14, 2022, 10:31:13 AM
Russia approved bitcoin as a form of money in order to hedge against the Russian ruble's depreciation and the Biden sanctions. What are your thoughts?
It's being considered but don't jump to the conclusion that it's already been approved and confirmed. We're excited to see it happen that one of the countries that have imposed a ban on crypto will start considering making bitcoin a currency.

Putin is in favor of establishing bitcoin as a kind of money since he is threatening war and Biden's economic penalties will harm the ruble. He might still use bitcoin to transact in the global economy. I'd want to hear everyone's thoughts on this. Thanks for your response in advance Smiley
On this decision that may come out soon. Is he the only one to decide whether bitcoin is approved as a currency in Russia or there go the other persons in authority on his administration that have to agree/disagree with such a decision? I'm not just familiar with their government.
2446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin doesn't have a bright future anymore on: February 14, 2022, 08:51:14 AM
My main grievance with all crypto is how it mirrors the stock market.  At least with Bitcoin you know it will recover similar to the stock market.  The pump & dump altcoins aren’t as attractive for me for long term investment.  I have however bought a small amount of the bigger names ETH, ADA & SOL
Good luck with those bought altcoins, they're good and part of the top altcoins. As for the mirror of bitcoin and stocks, many will really notice the connection between these two.
Well, you said that it's just a mirror so there's really no debate about telling that as notices for having a relationship. People would really find it not encouraging anymore if it's no longer worthy to them but for me, I'll always hold and believe in bitcoin.
2447  Economy / Economics / Re: Now who are the owner of Bitfinex hacked Bitcoins which are now recovered? on: February 14, 2022, 07:09:23 AM
This article is a good read about what has happened before after the hack and as well as where the recovered bitcoins must go.
Article: Who gets the $3.6BN in Bitcoin US seized in Bitfinex hack?
It's actually a developing story and we still need to wait further for the decision about it. It is not only bitfinex that will decide on this, do they or not?
It really make the situation critical after reading that. Both the parties are claiming but the tokens they distributed in compensation at the time of hack was at $1 and is still around there. While bitcoin rose up much higher.
Bitfinex also made another token which were the share of the coin holders and they said that they will refund according to that share. It may help the process to work out.

Now for those who say that the compensated coin is still there while their bitcoin rose high up then at that time bitfinex paid the amount in token worth of equal to their bitcoins. So the bitcoin holders were free to buy back bitcoin the same amount as they had.

Still the situation is waiting for the results and the community is waiting to see that how a situation like this is resolved.
Exactly, that's what the article has said on what Bitfinex had done just after the hack. Now that the bitcoins have recovered, I don't know how they're going to react on it or they already have a master plan on how to deal with the victims that are contesting those recovered bitcoins.
I think it's lawful that they just return the recovered bitcoin and the government might be on the customer's side. But, who knows on which side they're going to be part of.

On the other hand, Klay Thompson surprised everyone with his performance. If that will maintain, the Warriors will be again a threat to any team.
Everyone was surprised by how he performed recently. It is what he and the team should work but especially on him which he always going to feel the pressure for real.
The Dub nation is back as they say and this is likely the year of their comeback after all of those years that they fell shortly.

2450  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance invests $200 million to buy stake in Forbes on: February 13, 2022, 09:15:08 PM
Good news heard today. They are progressing and spreading their investment everywhere. They will spread the name of blockchain to ever person of the world and will make bitcoin understandable to everyone.
That's what has been doing and it won't stop just from there. It's like an expansion from different common names on their respective fields.
And with this CZ and its own company Binance bringing its partnership with these fields, it's really a development that shall maintain the popularity of what has been brought by binance.
2451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Shiba Inu community is enraged by Microsoft's recent tweet on: February 12, 2022, 10:32:43 PM
What do you think guys? Lots of people tweeted about this topic. Is it an opportunity to go up for SHIB?
I don't think that just because of it, the price would shoot. It's a different thing and discussion if it's Elon tweeting something negative or positive for a certain coin.
But as of the moment, the market is going through a bloody day and there's no way with just a single tweet from Microsoft or any other personality except Elon would increase the price.  Grin
2452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment? on: February 12, 2022, 09:36:14 PM
Is Bitcoin the best investment at the moment?
An absolute yes for me.

I've been trading options on BTC for about three years now, and I've made significant gains, how does everyone invest?
Usually, just HODL. The common strategy and stress-less way of investing and dealing the market is through holding. That's how it should be especially for the beginners that don't know how to trade but want to invest in bitcoin. And if you're consistent making gains in options, just keep your horses there and continue making money.

It's always been close to having a good result if the marketing is in the long term. That's how marketing works, if it's good to the eyes of everyone.
You'll get as many customers as you can. It's normal to expect something positive if you're the one running it and you're the one who's allocating budget on it. There's nothing wrong expecting a positive outcome.
I already notice the sportsbook before, but I get to notice it more when they started a campaign, it's probably the first time I believe, so I wish them good luck and success in their marketing strategy. experience.
Yeah, it's their first time as I've never saw them before run one.

People will know about this and more competition could give the bettors the best experience.
It's also going to add fast popularity if they'll keep on running some contests, giveaways and other marketing props that will make many gamblers interested to stay on them. Well, esports are currently active these days and that's a good time for them to take advantage.
2454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia treat crypto as currency lets tell what is this on: February 12, 2022, 08:14:52 AM
Russia authorized crypto in 2020 but they not granted authority for payments bia crypto because they think it can be source of transfer money in black to white which criminals can use.
Did really they? AFAIK, they're like India and China that imposes ban from time to time. A change after a ban still led to a ban. But this year, India has changed, Russia as well, we don't know if the same idea would be seen with China.
Going to Russia, the news has blown up and they're likely to be a crypto friendly country soon. However, the most intense news about them isn't this crypto related one but the border disputes and warning of war.
2455  Economy / Economics / Re: Forbes Announces $200 Million Strategic Investment From Binance on: February 12, 2022, 06:44:33 AM
It is impressive how much binance is growing. They are building an empire. They have so much money, they are expanding so much.

Forbes is one of the most famous business magazines in the world, founded in 1917 (more than 100 years ago). Now binance is acquiring a part of it. Where will binance stop?

I believe this is good news for bitcoin, because forbes will now talking more about bitcoin. On the other hand, I feel binance is becoming so big that it may become a problem for this ecosystem.
I agree, this is no longer just all about them but also integrating with other businesses that will help spread the information quickly about cryptocurrencies. There might be other companies in other industries that binance is trying to study of how it will help them entirely with their operations. They might be now on this stage that they'll do to make an empire for cryptocurrencies through these companies that are not even built and focused in crypto.
2456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull Run in Bitcoin on: February 11, 2022, 09:28:30 PM
It has grown a lot but it still can go further. We're not going to see how further it will if we'll leave the market too early. Set your expectations high and you'll be disappointed easily. And as for the bull run, who knows if this year is going to be the extension of it. But as we look to the past and its pattern, it's likely that this should be the long bear market. Well, if not proven and has broken that cycle then it's very favorable to all of us seeing that the market has really proving a lot that we've been too far.

Be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say "I'm going to be rich in 3 years later," this is a 1 percent out of 100 percent chance that it will ever happen, remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is, and remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is.
As you're saying that we should be smart and wise. Being rich will make you do everything you can and that's why it is part of our lives and one of the important achievements that we can reach. Setting yourself of becoming rich in 3 years, that's not bad and people really can do that within a span of time. What's wrong is thinking that you'll be rich overnight and by doing nothing. It's the wrong mindset that many have been applying with their investing journey in the crypto market.
We are simply making ourselves a fool. To become rich instantly is definitely won't happen in real life. That I tend to agree that 3 years in the span could be achievable but that only it happens if we invest in reliable projects, not those in hypes. And probably this works if we work hard also. It has to know that getting rich is not a simple word, it is not all just talks but it needs hard work and risking some money. If that be in our mind then we have to work it very well in order to succeed as there is nothing that could help us but just ourselves.
There is a way to become rich in life but you need to be lucky, as said luck's needed and it's all about gambling through the lottery. The truth is that there are those people that are also relying on that thinking that they might become rich someday through it.
Going to the usual method of working hard, it's not enough, you need to be working smartly too.

I went back to this thread when it's just a week ago when we're discussing about marketing and exposure. Now, you've launched your campaign and that's a good start and having a guarantee of 4 week. But, usually with that short term of run, they won't give that much effect. Maybe there's a little but to have a stable effect on it, just like the other casinos, they're running it for so long. Anyway, you still need to evaluate the effect of it after all and wishing you good luck on it.
There are really many reasons to start here.  But it is a good idea to suggest long-term expression in the forum.  But don't expect a definite positive effect here.  The overall reason is that I don't think the site itself changes.  It is very important to come out with ridicule here so the long term exposure suggested by the forum would be good.
It's always been close to having a good result if the marketing is in the long term. That's how marketing works, if it's good to the eyes of everyone.

2459  Economy / Economics / Re: Just my own thoughts on: February 11, 2022, 10:44:09 AM
If you use fiat for a purchase, bitcoin is being left aside, so it's losing territory, what makes fiat stay ahead on this competition.
I don't think like that. Bitcoin isn't losing territory because there is nothing to lose on its side. There's no competition for the two as bitcoin is differently categorized unlike with fiat, it is as is just as what we're using it for purchases. With bitcoin, it's not just for purchases but it has become an asset that we've been holding and almost don't want to spend it for anything that we want. It has come to the point that it is the one gaining territory and making people that have thought of it that there's nothing special on bitcoin started to think that they've regret of ignoring it long time ago.
