As mentioned previously, PD is being updated. There's a wide variety of performance upgrades and a lot of minor design changes. We've moved servers and users will have to set a new seed to continue playing. I'll be posting the full changelog after the update is here, feel free to post/PM feedback regarding the changes as we'll be monitoring this thread.

Thank you

Do you guys notice how besides the #2 player (godog) most of the players who wager the most BTC, don't make the most profit. Pretty crazy eh?

I would be nice to see a "Top Losers of the Week" and just wondering how those players are doing.

I remember a few years back, people would make like 50-100 BTC per day on Primedice, but I guess alot has changed.

What is crazy about that? I am pretty sure it is a possible thing to do, well I am not sure how he do it but I ever did exactly the same thing with him but because my balance is not thst big I do not have the chance to get huge profit but my wagered amount sure increasing fast. Btw there is no way they will put top losser of the week, because people will actually count on how much profit that they actually get or may be even can point something out from there that will harm owner as well

Dice site normally has 1 % house edge. That means you are losing 1 % of every amount you wagered. Given the current top 1 that wagered over 90 bitcoin, that mean he should be losing around 0.9 bitcoin. Thats why most of the top wagered are not on the top profit list, it is in the nature of gambling that gambler should be the one losing. The one winning alot is what we called as variance

Here is the previous week, unlike that one the high wagered players did tend to pull off larger profits. While it is true that variance decreases after more sessions of betting the tiny house edge here hardly seemed to have an effect on these players of this week above.

Also, right now these leaderboards aren't accounting for Ethereum/litecoin, we'll be patching that up soon Smiley

Another impressive week for the high rollers!
Is your name on there?

I think what PrimeDice needs to do with these public stats is at least censor them like Bitmex does.

For example

https://www.bitmex.com/app/leaderboard

What they do is, unless the user accepts they are given a random name and not the real nickname.

Because many people use the same username across many different exchanges and services and if a hacker notices someone with > 100 BTC they might easily become a target with social engineering.

I realize that most of those usernames are random and pretty funny actually but there should be an option to hide their real nick.

This is actually a very fair point. We give users the option to Hide their wagered and their profit and will look into better privacy controls by default. The thing that's nice about bitcoin dice is the transparency aspect of it, that the people who are winning are actually real and verifiable but I can see the drawbacks as well.

We'll be making some improvements to Wheel payouts to make it more fun! The edge will remain 1%.

Even tho I have always been in love with primedice since day 1 and see this stake as something thats putting primedice into "greatest ever" levels I have one question to ask. It is not a bad thing to ask but its just curiousity and unimportant.

Why open a new website? Maybe this was asked before but why not just add these into primedice or add primedice into this? Why have to websites when you can combine them into one? Maybe it was asked so I am sorry if this was answered. It really doesn't matter, its not an important question. I will be losing bunch of money on both of them anyway Cheesy

Pretty much what Mladen said, but Stake is going to go beyond being a casino and be a hub for all forms of crypto gambling. It would be a lot to fit within Primedice given that the beauty of Primedice has always been it's simplicity. A new project gave us the opportunity to experiment with different things without fear of upsetting an established user base.

Zoltan messaged me on Primedice from his Zoltan account and asked me to post here confirming his identity. Given that his PD account has had 2FA/extra security measures I believe that this is a legitimate recovery claim. 2FA on bitcointalk has been discussed for years but it would be great to finally see it.

Thanks, we're almost finished with a new one Smiley

Sent 3 emails within 3 weeks and never received a response!

If offenders think they can get away with ignoring Game Protect, I can inform they are wrong. Wink

What game-protect messaged one of our players (shared with their permission):
Quote
The larger the casino is (for example stake / primedice or bitcasino) , the higher is the chance they will settle Because otherwise they will lose unlike more And as I already informed, the owners like Tim and Miroslav and Stunna likely also committed the criminal offenses of tax evasion in their countries of residence! Or do you really think that they informed the tax office of their home country about the exact amount they collected from players? And if they let it go to legal enforcement, they are at high risk of getting sued for AML laws breach in Curacao and in the country where their physical office is Why would they take all the risk for 30 or for 50 BTC? I mean the money laundering they committed can bring some years in prison as well Money laundering in the height of bitcoins worth $ millions This can bring some years prison time And btw, the managing director and licensor in Curacao is also liable. And 1668/JAZ made uncountable millions And 8048/JAZ as well. These are the 2 big You want to win and risk your bitcoins with - 1% or even more expected value, so you should definitely risk your bitcons with + 50% expected value I already gave you a lot of info, but I know unlike more, so I am almost confident that they will settle and if not latest lose at the court 1668/JAZ was also wrong, but they were stubborn, until they got sentenced

What you are offering is blackmail/racketeering as a service, not only is this highly unethical but I strongly question the legality of what you are doing. You are making the claim that these websites are "probably breaking X law" so you can blackmail them for money back to keep quiet? I have no interest in responding to your emails and you can consider this a written ban from using Primedice/Stake.

3/5 of the sites you feature on your homepage are members of the crypto gambling foundation. One of them that isn't is "betonline" which is very widely known to be a scam site, video evidence exists of them rigging games. If you continue to fill up this thread with your bullshit you can be certain I will make certain no website in this entire industry wants your business. The fact that you aren't banned from this forum is a travesty, you promote known scam sites, you prey on players who are put in a bad position by online casinos and then try to gouge them for an extra 10% of what they were scammed for and best of all you pretend to do so with the most ethical intentions. The worst part of your presence on this forum is legitimate complaints and attempts to rectify issues are flooded out by your non-sense spam which makes it easier for casinos to ignore issues entirely.

Primedice will now be accepting deposits & withdrawals in Ethereum!
The rain bot will also be giving out 5x the normal amount of USD in ETH tips,
so get amongst the fun in the chat and rain in some free Ethereum!

Keep an eye out for more crypto additions in the near future.

Any possibility that XVG will be added in the future?

We're open to all major coins, however it wouldn't make sense for us to add something unless there was significant usage.

Anyone who believes after 5 years of operating even paying out suspected cheaters like Hufflepuff 2400+ coins(BIGGEST DRAMA)  <<-- THIS IS YOUR BIGGEST LIE.
HUFFLEPUFF is your own account. you guys made this for gossip everyone knows that.its pretty obvious for pd to create fake stats and drama for gossip

If you come up and say he actually trying to mix some evil coins, then you should send back his 28 btc to his deposit address (a fair judgment)

or If you say he cheated you before. then you should say how he cheated your system (even if he cheated the system. you guys don't have right to halt his withdraw. all you can do is fix your system flaws and vulnerabilities instead of halting his withdraw)

At least you should send back his deposits.

Do you get paid $2 instead of $1 per post if you use red font? For others asking we'll fill in the blanks later once this is all wrapped up.

I really don't know what to do, Stunna. This is becoming life-changing for me, and you should know that you are making me cry, a girl that trusted your casino. I just want my deposit back. I've put over 28BTC and had 34BTC... Just transfer my 28, don't make me feel this way, I'm lost in this thoughts and I am desperate. ANYONE HEAR ME PLEASE.
Stunna, you should publish or at least message me what the hell you are accusing me. I've not defrauded you or anyone in my whole life. Why are you making me do things I've never done before? Find a lawyer, go to court, I don't know that, I'm not ready for that, i just want my money back, because I've never done anything illegal. If you suspect me, why can't I know WHAT EXACTLY I'VE DONE?
Please reply to me, don't ignore me, I want to hear back from you.

About our talk with Edward... I never said I don't know what is bitcoin or Primedice, I just said that I'm not so pro on it. I have a friend who bought it for me, and he helps me sometimes and explains things I don't understand. This is so freaking unfair, I can't even believe this is happening with me.
You ignored online gaming consumer protection service and announced that you will find a lawyer!

Did you fail? Was it empty promises to the bitcointalk community?

I'll find a lawyer, thanks.

I am lost, okay? I don't know what to do, I don't want to spend HALF of my money to the lawyer, but at the end, I will have no choice. I think it's not so hard to imagine what I'm experiencing now. I'm literally crying every day.
Wait, you deposited 28 BTC = $200,000 to an unregulated casino and now you are crying? Does not make much sense! If $200,000 is an important amount for you, then you would at least play with consumer protection service inclusive. And then you would not need to cry about the expenses to enforce your coins.

Nevertheless, 50% is better than nothing and I can even arrange 70:30 no cure no pay. Additionally if you want the largest part for you, then you can also simply pay the lawyer on a hourly rate basis. So maybe $10,000 for the lawyer and $230,000 for you.

If you had $200,000 to throw after stake, then you should have some coins for those who help you to get it back. Otherwise your behaviour does not make much sense.

This is fairly common and has been happening alot recently. Almost all these events involve a very large BTC amount. PD is not the only website to enforce this, many of the other websites do this also.

Most likely PD is not allowed to comment until the investigation is cleared.

They need to verify the authenticity of the funds before they can release any funds. The funds could come from a dark-net market or they could of been stolen. The user might of been using PD just to mix the coins.

If the coins were obtained legally then she has nothing to worry about and will get her deposit plus any winnings back.

He's gone quiet recently, if you see this you won't get anything back. Anyone who believes after 5 years of operating even paying out suspected cheaters like Hufflepuff 2400+ coins that we'd hold a withdrawal for arbitrary reason is just fooling themselves. If they were aware of what we knew I doubt they'd be posting here, luckily the truth always comes to light. We'll have a chat with them later if they'd like and put this to close. I cannot post more details publicly at this time.

Just wondering will Stunna share the statistic of how many bitcoin of profit was given away to those who won the top ten most wagered. Im not really going to have any chance on this but atleast this is crazy considering that primedice is giving away 100 % of the 1 day profit into those on the top 10 most wagered

Sad news is that it is not something for an average player
Why people always believe in the words from scammers?(yes stunna and edward are scammers).
It is not 100%, just 60%.
The house edge is 1% and there are giving 0.6% of wagered.
Of course they are making money on this promotion. Edward is too greedy.

Affiliates with a high % commission could game the promotion otherwise. I would have preferred it to be 100%, I wasn't going to disable affiliate earnings. Regardless, for 8/10 of the players in the highscores their entire betting session for the day was +EV. This was also made extremely clear in the promotion, read the linked post.
340  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain. The Future of Online Casinos? ✅ on: May 26, 2018, 10:31:00 AM
"blockchain" is still a buzz word as far as gambling and I'd argue almost everything except money is concerned right now. Something like blockchain tech will probably power the future of casinos but there are no solid examples yet.

Hey, guys!  There is just ONE site I have never had a reason to doubt - https://www.edgeless.io/ - First Ethereum 'smart-contract' powered casino.
< 0% HOUSE EDGE
> CRYPTOCURRENCY BETTING
> INSTANT WITHDRAWALS/DEPOSITS
> BANKROLL STAKING
> BLOCKCHAIN TRANSPARENCY
> HAS A CASINO LICENCE

Yet their provably fair requires you to change your client-seed every single hand to maintain fairness? 'blockchain transparency' though
