Well to be honest, by law they did nothing wrong. And this is a simply fact. For EU laws what they did is legal.

Also I can't understand why their topic is still active...

I'm pretty sure fraud is illegal in most if not all countries. They were misrepresenting themselves to be PD and pretending that PD was raising investments which they would just put in their pocket, that's outright scamming.

I think some people are misunderstanding what they were doing, view the picture on the opening post of the fake investment page they made.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to make a statement about “Bitcoin Cash” BTCC because everyone has been asking about it.

Primedice does not support UAHF, aka Bitcoin Cash.  Users who would like to hold UAHF coins should withdraw their bitcoin from Primedice by July 31, as we will continue to use BTC.

Wow really surprised that casinos started to take a stance on Bitcoin Cash.

As much as we all hate Bitcoin Cash, it looks with all this demand and promotion it will be here to stay. I am predicting it will be worth 10% of BTC and be pretty much like the ETH/ETC pairs.

Where ones goes up and the other is correlated in the opposite direction. I think best would be to hold both coins in the future to secure your money because the value of BTC will decrease and BCC will increase and vice-versa.

There's no guarantee there will even be a fork, 6 blocks have to be mined at the same difficulty of bitcoin with bitcoin cash unlikely to be trading at more than 5-10% of the bitcoin price considering pretty much no wallets or services support it.

If it does fork I recommend dumping your bitcoin cash before the price goes to zero. Bitcoin cash in my opinion is just a ploy being pumped by those who want to guarantee segwit 2x in its entirety takes effect.

We're solving this accussion/problems really soon.

Also our website will be available again within short time, faster and more stable then ever.

It is not fair to tell people that we would "phishing Primedice users", we never did that and never will do so!
We respect Primedice and it's leaders, but why are you tryn to ruin our fresh startup like that? Also earlier in our mainthread we had the same discussion already, now putting it into the crowd with no reason?

As mentioned in our mainthread, we've had bought some domains from start-up (primedice.co as example) which redirects to our site for SEO purposes.

Also, what you did there is called a Nameserver-lookup and it shows various domain-names related with those Nameservers you searched for. It is showing all sites from cloudflare that are using this nameserver-combination, which doesn't mean that this are all our's.

Primedice reported our site to Cloudflare and they claimed that we were "phishing Primedice users", therefore Cloudflare has blocked our Domains for security review.

best regards, Casimir -Paradice.io

To be clear we reported the phishing website to cloudflare NOT paradice. Paradice simultaneously went down which further proved that you were running the phishing sites.

Actually we reported the phishing website to cloudflare not paradice and paradice went down simultaneously. This proves you were operating that site.

Stunna what have you done to this guy? Or maybe you have to ask edward? Every coin has 2 sides you know.

I'm pretty interested in the backstory between Bitsler and PrimeDice as well.

In a nutshell

1. Edward accuses bitsler of being dadice 2.0 and tells a bitsler mod that bitsler is associated with founders of dadice and that their site will be exposed and shutdown

2. Bitsler founder obtains (purchases?) my dox/location and threatens me via a message on telegram

3. Baryom maintains the position that he is bitsler and when Ed threatened the future of bitsler it was a direct threat to him and he acted accordingly. He now accuses me of intentionally 'trapping' him and says his threat wasn't a threat (lol) but reluctantly gives a half-ass apology after much back and forth and admitting no wrong.

Wanted to post this for public record. Now you have most of the details

I got a weird message as well... Cool

My cat was pretty pissed off reading the email back to me, took most the night to calm it down with some serious drinking.

So I guess I should fess up, I have no mafia and mom was breathing down my neck when I vented that email Stunna.  Wink

Would be wise not to ignore that Smiley

587  Economy / Gambling / Paradice.io phishing Primedice users on: July 26, 2017, 04:10:35 AM

On July 24th, Primedice staff were made aware of a phishing website attempting to trick users into depositing into an investment version of the website. We took immediate action into sending abuse complaints to the DNS registrar and server host.

Upon inspection of the phishing website, we found that the SSL certificate used was shared by other domain names including paradice.io and kingdice.io. After some further investigation, we found that four domains used the exact same cloudflare nameservers, which is a very unlikely coincidence. These domains were paradice.io, kingdice.io, primedice.co and the domain registered for phishing, bitcointalk users have previously linked paradice.io to primedice.co (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1844659.msg18510402#msg18510402).

Primedice staff were able to find cached google and bing results for the phishing domain, which show the website title as “PARADICE | One Step Ahead! - Bitcoin Dice Game..”

Primedice also found a google result which shows that both paradice.io and the phishing url have the same overall website structure, in the Google result image below, you can see ajax requests are sent to /content/ajax/unprotect_url.php?_unique=token, the exact same way the paradice.io website works. Adding to this, the phishing url reports Apache as the webserver, paradice.io has this field hidden, but it is clearly an Apache error page that shows up.

Furthermore, paradice.io has been found to lift assets directly from Primedice in the past, including the favicon, and faq text. Not surprisingly their website isn't provably fair either.

Update: Reports were successful, now both Paradice and the phishing website are down.

how about raising the white flag and then watching the inglorious bastards "Separately"! drink a beer and call it a day!
there is more then enough drama in everyone's lives--- why make more?

@AmoreJaz is right! Spot on!

Things like this should be discussed privately and professionally, posting it in public just makes it worst and will look like you are asking the public's sympathy(no offense).

Cheers!

When someone who should by now be held to professional standards doxes and threatens you can you really sort things out 'professionally'. You might be a bit biased here, to be honest the last thing I need is sympathy.

Stunna is like me, he prefers to have opinions from the odience than fixing it "just" professionally

Exactly. Also I haven't posted candidly here in a while.

I'm partly retired from this space, been traveling around for a bit. Received a nice message last night from an owner of a popular dice website. Not sure what I've done recently to piss anyone off so thought it was a bit odd. I figured I'd post it here for laughs.

In case it's hard to follow, this admin gives me his 'last warning' and says he can come to my location and then ends by doxing me and calling out my 'name'.

Hello Stunna, How are you doing?

For your information, we are not dadice. So, if you could stop threating us, I let it go when edward was threating us( by the way, I know that he was a scammer in the past), I let it go when you made a very weird move with the youtube affiliation but this is my last warning. If you prefer, I could come to [MY LOCATION REMOVED] to discuss together, ok [MY NAME REMOVED]?

We are not kids, so I hope you understand my point

B.s. like this is part of why I've been less active in this space.

Do your research before investing because all might not be what it seems, as with all investments...

Do you have some sort of ulterior motive here? What's the reason for that. Personally I think all the gambling ICO's are overvalued but Dean has actually proven he can make serious money in this space and will probably launch a product which is more than most gambling ICOs can say. You should remember that there have been thousands of dice sites but only a few that reached success, betking is one of them.

your right. alot of ico scams going on. it will get worse in gambling sector soon

Some of them are outright scams yes, there are quite a few I should have called out. I don't think investors care though, there's a lot of greed right now on both sides. If it was possible I'd short the majority of ICOs.

Yes, this is really great achievement to get here but as I can say your bets does not really show that your site have really 2million players. 2million players to get only 17millions rolls? I do not know about this thing but it seems that your rolls is a little bit slow here. Anyway congrats for this achievement

17 billion, not million. Wink

Not sure if this beats @cowbay's record or not, but an impressive hit:

2 bits to 104k bits  (0.1 BTC)!
you forgetting the 400kx cashout?

Oh yeah, forgot about that until you mentioned it. I guess it's not close to a record (but still impressive)

That is pretty insane. Wow

Faucets can be botted quite easily though, so you don't have to do anything except code the bot. Your only cost would be internet, electricity, and captcha solves, but all of those are quite cheap. It's probably profitable, considering how many abusers there are. I'm assuming the simplest way to solve it was to remove it, as the intention was so people could try it out. The costs of losing customers because they can't test it might be lower than the faucet abusing costs.

Probably the biggest issue for me, is actually just trying to manage the type of people faucets bring in. Faucets are a fantastic way for people to try the site without going through all the hassles (and costs) of depositing, so that's something I do want to bring back as soon as possible. But what I don't want to do is encourage people who are purely looking for handouts, as it tends to be just a net negative to the community/chat.

The new update (which I'm working hard on, I promise) actually has a sort of "reverse leveling faucet" based on your ip address, where the more it's used the less money it gives. That way it can satisfy it's purpose for trying out the site, but not really attractive for much more

Agree with that system, just need to make sure your base faucet isn't high enough for people to think it's worthwhile to use lots of different IP's/VPN's.

I bet here a lot in 2015 and from UK, you clearly did not have a license, so you can get sued for this as it's illegal, I will be taking this further if I don't get replies in PM from owners/MICRO
Who are you to black mail them,if you think they are doing something illegal ,you have to move through the law rather than crying over here, from my experience they are one of the best dice sites for a very long time and they never had any issues till now. They are not obliged to reply you if they are operating from another territory.

Black mail?

If they were and obviously operating illegally I will of course take it further, they reply to no emails and this is not blackmail, they are here to make money as a business not here to make friends with you, no need to defend them when it's not your place to reply! Idiots here.

For a long time bitcoin was in a gray area in most countries. Not legal but also not illegal.
As soon as we were contacted from the government officials of some countries we had to stop allowing players from those countries to play at ours site.

We are currently looking to acquire license for most of those countries.

If you have any questions I can forward you to ours legal team.

Without a license for the UK and accepting thousands and taking a profit from that was ILLEGAL, I want to be refunded at least.

You are now even offering rakeback/cashback to players like all other sites have from the start, please PM me a email for yourself to get this sorted.

As stated above, we stopped accepting deposits from UK as soon as it became illegal. You will not get a refund. And there is nothing to get sorted.
Feel free to take legal action.

Keep up the good work Micro Smiley .
