Just played around fairness a bit, seems new version not fair at all Smiley

"The server seed is created before you specify your client seed, ensuring that a server seed purposely in our favor cannot be generated."

I can't find next server seed hash anywhere, it's funny that no one noticed, so all server seeds generated for the new version most likely calculated with the advantage for the house.

This is a known issue and will be fixed within the day. However, you're wrong in your assumptions, this is a front-end bug on that specific modal. For some reason we were showing previous seed and current seed hash instead of current seed hash and next seed hash.

Anyone could grab their next seed via the API since launch and I suggest you do that until that modal is updated later today.

{
  user {
    nextServerSeedHash
  }
}

EDIT: We've patched the modal and it is now live on the site, Thanks!

Think I did something stupid or my timing was really bad. I sent a deposit right before the site went down and thought I wrote down the right account name and password but the deposit address is different and nothing is in my account.

Can you verify if the addresses where changed due to the upgrade so I can eliminate one aspect of figuring out where I sent my funds too?

Much appreciated if anyone can answer that aspect for me.

This is my transaction as well if that helps any:
https://blockchain.info/address/1LKYTDfdoXsYhWZUkp3JGfr6SxzXhiDb1S
==========================================================================

Update:
Not really getting any clear answers from support,they are unable to tell me anything and just tell me to be patient.
Asked some straight forward questions and get the same reply. They must be overrun with the system or have lost my transaction.

Addresses were indeed changed, support will credit your deposit. Sorry, I thought we would be able to automatically do this!

This is all I wanted to hear from support and you just made a ton of anxiety disappear. Think my last exchange with support was me losing my mind as all I wanted them to answer was that the address matched my account or not. So this is good to know and I can get a good nights sleep. Cheesy

Day 3 since my deposit and still nothing. Seeing all the issues I am left to think that this going to take weeks if at all.

==============================================================================
(( 3 hours later))
EDIT: Going to stay on this issue like a badger because I feel like it is to small a issue for them right now and the longer this goes on, the more likely it never gets resolved.

Everything will be resolved as soon as possible. I never had any problems with PD and I'm also waiting for some issues to be resolved. Go outside, clear your head a bit and your problem will be solved. You are not the only one. Smiley

I get the need to defend a site from attack but look at the timeline. There was no warning that the site was going down or that addresses where changing because of that. At first I was led to believe that it was my issue and I backtracked to find this was not the case, but still
nothing was cleared up till I talked to different support to piece together the issue through drips and drabs. Sure they where only working with the information they had available but I am giving my side of the issue and how it feels to not know where my funds are! Patience is something I do not have much of as we head towards 4 days of waiting.
Also have not seen anyone with the same situation post,pretty sure it was just bad window of going down before my first confirmation hit.
Only other people I could see being effected are people using old addresses without checking the site.

I'm shocked this hasn't been solved for you yet. Send me a PM with your Username and I'll look into it myself.

Edit: resolved Smiley

Hey everyone, thanks for sharing feedback regarding the new version. We read every single bit of feedback here and are trying to improve our product every day. Please drop suggestions below and also let us know which altcoins you want to see on primedice for our first update.

Hello,
I have sent you an email, but have not received any reply.
I would very much like to join you, how can this be done? Huh

My site is rolleth.io
Roullet on Ethereum 100% fair & instant

Hey,

Sorry for the lack of reply. Due to high demand mainly from all the ICO's we're only considering well known sites that have operated for over 1 year.

It's look great the new version of PrimeDice.

However it looks like now you are forcing users to create their own client seed? I don't think this is wise since most people will chose a nonrandom seed like "1234567890" or "111111111111". In the end I don't think it will alter the roll but it seems strange to do.

Also it says you have 0 confirmation deposits, however how will you deal with double spenders?

Basically a lot of casinos had issues with this where a gambler would quickly send a deposit, bet and if they lost they would attempt and double spend their deposit. So practically gambling risk free. Hope you guys have some protection against these types of actions.

Either way, congrats and good luck on the new platform.

Thank you, basically the confidence that the transaction will not be double-spent is calculated and it is credited at 0 confirmation if it's above a high threshold. We tried the same at stake and have so far not been doublespent.

Primedice 5 has been officially launched!

This update is mainly an update to our back-end, Primedice 4 was running off restrictive legacy code from a couple years ago. It's been challenging to add features like multi-currencies & multiplayer with our old system so we've completely replaced it with something which will scale and let us quickly integrate new features. The design has been touched up a bit and everything should be a bit more responsive & quicker.

We're aware there are small bugs floating around, let us know and we'll patch them as quickly as possible. We weren't able to migrate old seeds so we recommend setting a custom seed, I apologize for a lack of notice regarding this but we wanted to get the website up today. If the website looks funny we recommend clearing cache and hard reloading.

Happy rolling!

Changelog:
-Message center added
-New chat badges
-Segwit added
-0 confirmation deposits
-Updated livestats
-Cutting edge back-end/API
-Multi-currency ready
-Foundation set for multiplayer/PVP

We'll be taking the site down to perform significant maintenance, will be back later today!

Good luck on your upgrade, hoping things go smoothly. Those kind of site updates can't be easy to do.

Thanks RGB! We should be up within the hour.

We're finally near completion of accepting altcoins at stake. We're doing final testing and will hopefully accept Ethereum this week! What coins do you want to see added?

Introducing the Stake School! A collection of educational resources regarding crypto and its uses for all our players to take advantage of.
Check it out today, and perhaps you might learn something new: https://forum.stake.com/school

Stake School

Nice idea to begin with however it has a very few topics for now. Hope to see the information increasing rapidly.
Also, you can include an article about various gambling methods, martingale etc, also the school focuses on bitcoin, it should also focus on gambling and it's aspects like house edge, winning chance etc.

Great suggestion, we've mainly just focused on providing basic bitcoin information to new players but we'll add in stake specific articles as well!
374  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: March 29, 2018, 05:31:56 AM
Proceed with KYC within a week , still no money, and no one told me exact date for issuing withdraw, PD ignoring me on all communication channels, looks very bad...  I can't understand reasons for delaying my payment except, if they simply do not want to pay me my 34 BTC...

Probably unless you are using some kinda exploit then you have no reason to fear. Somehow Primedice has been the leading site of this industry and they wont be risking their reputation for only 34 btc. Even they paid 1000+ btc to one exploiter in the past. All you gotta do is contacting them though but that wont really do any difference at all

I've been aware of this user and an admin has been in direct contact via telegram. This isn't something a typical player would have to worry about, larger withdrawals have been going through without issue. This is a very unique situation and we cannot discuss details publicly at this moment but will as soon as possible.

My account was locked, how do I get it unlocked? I tried the on-site support form but got only errors. Username is the same as on here.
My account is also locked. Maybe this happened because nonkosher in from a new location from a new device.
I talked to support and they asked me a set of question which I have answered and now support has asked me to wait as they have forwarded the issue to the administrators to unlock my account.
Been a few days but nothing has been done.

As far as I'm aware accounts are only temporarily locked after too many incorrect password attempts. Have you tried logging in after waiting a bit? PM me your username

Is Online Gambling Legal If Bitcoins, Not Dollars, Are At Stake?

This account seems to be a bot. It's quoting this headline word for word https://www.npr.org/sections/alltechconsidered/2013/02/06/171182974/is-online-gambling-legal-if-bitcoins-not-dollars-are-at-stake

377  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Primedice ( Targeting old VIP users & Autobet bug) [Not resolved yet ] on: March 25, 2018, 02:06:50 AM
I have one question to make. Why this problem isn't solved yet?
We are heading to the 4rth month and no solution from PD. For a problem that it should be solved almost instantly.

Specifically the issue surrounding the Mute is no longer an issue. With regards to the autobetting bug I haven't been able to find any proof of this, if Rob could PM me bet ID's or anything further information I can look into it more but I'm not sure what anyone could expect me to do here with the very limited information I've been provided surrounding a years old complaint.

This thread was actually specifically about being muted and then the autobet issue that occurred in 2016 was patched into it later on. The question lies, did we patch autobet or make any changes to it based off this guy's experience. I don't believe so, I don't think there was ever an issue within the code pertaining to autobet not stopping or restarting after hitting stop I can double-check with our team.

Also I'm not sure how you're claiming you lost 0.3 now when originally it was 0.21, there's nothing I can work with here. PM me every detail you have and I can look into it to the best of my ability but just being like "in 2016 i lost money to autobet not stopping" It's difficult to really do anything about this.

I provided the details to the micro year ago and I did PM'ed you about it as well in past but I did not get any response after that as I've said.
My initial balance was around 0.21 when I started the auto bet if remember correctly and when I was trying to stop it was around 0.3 / I did not include the profit from that initial balance in that case.

If supports had taken it seriously in past and didn't ignore the issue back there then I am sure the case would have been solved by now or maybe they did not wanted to solve it. As I understand there would have been other fake claims from other people and surely PD wanted to avoid that totally.

Yep, I'm sorry your experience was negative. I'm glad you understand the position we're in where we get bombarded with a ton of fake claims from opportunists, ultimately we can only rely on evidence. Any chance you can re-forward me anything you can find surrounding this issue. For this specific case It's best if you work with me directly instead of support.

Thanks

Yes, I understand but it doesn't change the fact that PD ignored me and did not reply at all even after having so many supports members.
How can I provide any screenshot or video now? I provided everything to micro in past every detail I had. But I did not hear back anything or found that anyone was even trying to help, I was just promised in my case it can be compensated.

Sent you a PM.

Primedice and Stake have an ignore part within their business strategy, that is why!

I asked them several serious and important questions and they are still unanswered until today and probably will forever.

If you check the account of stunna you will find his email was changed recently, I am waiting to hear an interesting story from them again. I heard a rumor about them and asked them if they trade with the users bitcoins. To which stunna replied no they don't. But I feel that they do it. And the main reason is primedice is running because of stunna's Place in DT.
Most of the users afraid to speak against him as if they will get negged by stunna.

You put me in a very difficult position when I'm more than willing to give up time to help individual players resolve old issues because I do want everyone to have a positive experience. However, you're really testing my patience when you just sit here and spin up conspiracy theories instead of trying to work this out with me directly and it honestly makes me question your original claims and intent. However to your credit a lack of total transparency on our side will ultimately result in such theories and we either have to prove ourselves or stomach them.

1. PD is simply not insolvent and total user balances are probably equal to a couple weeks profits it isn't like an exchange which holds massive balances. We aren't trading user funds or doing anything with them in fact the largest PD balance is 20-30 coins right now, users deposit, play, withdraw. We had to set large withdrawals to manual for a specific reason which I cannot talk about quite yet, I wish I could say more. This will be reverted within a week.

2. I left a few people negative trust in all of 2017 and it was almost entirely phishing/scamming related. I'm very inactive at giving trust, I haven't even given gameprotect negative trust, I instead added him to ignore.

3. The email on this account changed because our domain registrar gave away our domain briefly to an attacker and I had a PD domain email on here and quickly changed it to prevent it from being recovered by the attacker.

I pride myself on being a reasonable person and I would never deny someone legitimate their funds to make a quick buck. That's why we've been around so long. You need to put yourself in my shoes, if we can prove within a reasonable doubt that you're owed 0.21 for the autobet bug mentioned then you'll get paid out. Give me what I need to make this happen.
380  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Bitcoin Casino | Plinko, Mines, Blackjack, Roulette + 8 more 👽 on: March 25, 2018, 12:42:41 AM
Stake should include a self exclusion option for various periods of time like for a couple of hours / days, will help people a lot.

Are you for real suggesting this? You can actually stop playing and choose to do so. If you really want to stop then atleast do it by yourself. The site will always be here to make some money and some people will keep on playing either to get some money or to be entertained. All it takes for you will be to stop playing in your own accordance

I'll raise this with the team, should be an easier way to do this. In the meantime if you contact us we can ban your account for periods of time.

as I remember Stunna posted few months ago something about adding poker to stake in 2018 , is that still the plan ??
would love to hear if this is still planned and whats the progress so far , cause it seems every new poker site is failing in crypto
but I have faith in stake since there is a good number of active players and some highrollers too

Yeah I know we could pull off poker I'm actually really shocked with the sudden massive growth for stake. After launching it I wondered if maybe we had wasted our time and it wasn't what people wanted. However, we committed more effort towards building around what our players suggested instead of our personal ideas and it has really paid off.

 it's really a matter of how we want to do it. If we want to just put standard software up we can get it up super quickly. We put a dent into our own custom version but getting this stuff 100% done with the specs we want is pretty time consuming. Sports will be released before poker but poker is a personal interest of mine so I'm definitely pushing for it. Drop any suggestions you have for the specs on it and we'll keep it in mind.
