1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum a threat to bitcoin on: May 15, 2018, 02:09:38 AM
I strongly disagree, it does not posses any threat to bitcoinBTC because they are on a different level of attainment such as price, purpose and exposure in the market as well. bitcoinBTC, the first cryptocurrency, was born 10 years back in 2008. It introduced a novel idea by the mysterious Satoshi Nakamoto: Bitcoin offers the promise of lower transaction fees than traditional online payment mechanisms and is operated by a decentralized authority, unlike government issued currencies while Ether is used broadly for two purposes: it is traded as a digital currency exchange like other cryptocurrencies and is used inside Ethereum to run applications and even to monetize work. See their difference.

1323  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Phished MEW - How to save the token? on: May 15, 2018, 12:27:27 AM
Well the most important part is to contact MEW's support for your account, they can't transfer your token without ETH in your wallet. If you are worried that sending an amount of ETH in your MEW wallet because your suspicion is that the hacker is watching your action, then it might be good that you should not send any amount. Wait for a little longer. Access your MEW thru Metamask/Mist to avoid Phishing Sites.
1324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to reach levels here on: May 14, 2018, 03:07:52 PM
If you are an active user in this forum at early 2017, probably you have a full member account right now, you've missed the boat wherein you can level up just by an increase of activities without being meritted.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook ‘Exploring’ Making Its Own Cryptocurrency, Media Report on: May 13, 2018, 06:56:11 AM
This is a very positive news for everyone, it will expose the use of cryptocurrency worlwide, even the smallest countries in our world. Well I am curious about this, how can we use in real life situation of cryptocurrency in their platform which is facebook? Is it the same with steemit, you are paid just by posting, if that's their case the it will be a problem, facebook will become polluted by spamposts, asking for likes, comments and shares.

Ironically speaking, why would facebook ban cryptocurrency ads if they have a plan to create their own cryptocurrency .. LOL
1326  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: May 13, 2018, 06:17:16 AM
I don't why in this world why we are sacrificing lots of years studying college for about 5-10 years, if we can finish for about 1 and a 1/2 years. Education is just a requirement in our lives in order for us to be accepted in a market or job industry it is also a requirement to survive the "real world", but I think Education is still the best weapon in our lives, we can do both actually, Educating ourselves while learning crypto is the best.

Correct if I'm wrong
You want to make money out of faucet to start trading without investing in your own pocket?

Well, that's okay, but I warn you that doing faucets today are actually waste of time, doing faucets in the last 3 years are much more profitable than doing faucets now. You can get such a little amount of sats by doing it.

Try to level up your rank in this forum, do bounties or airdrops (be careful) if you want to earn wihout spending out of your own pocket.

1328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can i know which bounty is good? on: May 13, 2018, 12:13:46 AM
how can i know which bounty is good to make money much more??

these topics have heen discussed a thousand times, always check their whitepapers, team core, goals if it is realistic, as well as reputable bounty manager.

First things first as a newbie, try to educate yourself first around the forum, learning the basic like history of crypto, understand the blockchain technology, and learn on how to trade. You will be benefitted for that.
1329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips for newbies, who want to avoid over-quoting on: May 12, 2018, 03:35:43 PM
It's easy to notice that but sometimes it's time-wasting deleting irrelevant words, so I just click on quote. Btw, I wish there were a "Multi quote" button for easy multi-quoting.
Unnecessary quoting are used for spamming, do you think that other members of the forum are not aware of that "to look like a long post" spamming? Grow up child, contribute to the community, try not to become one of thist shitposters.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 【LAUNCHED】【BTC2】Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Zerocoin, Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: May 11, 2018, 10:07:07 AM

Bitcoin 2 is a hard fork of the original currency. It has forked already so it is no longer "upcoming", but which list are you talking about? There are many such lists, most of which are inaccurate.

We are doing our best to keep up to our schedule and we may be able to finish every Q2 goal before the end of June (end of Q2), but turns out we have to build our own web block explorer because the existing ones would take too long to adapt to Bitcoin 2, except for Iquidus explorer which simply takes too long to sync big blocks because it has not been properly optimized by its developer. This will set back our schedule by 1 - 3 weeks. So yes we have news coming this month. After we release that block explorer hosted on bitc2.org, we'll start contacting exchanges.

In-wallet Decentralized Exchange still has ETA of Q3. Work has begun on it but even after it is finished a lot of testing is needed before it can be released.
Ironically speaking, are we also forking the identity of the developers?
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in business industry on: May 11, 2018, 05:10:59 AM
Yep it is very possible, but take a look what will be the sevices offered by the company, as of now the most common service is escrow funding as well as mining, but that would take a lot of efforts and money as well.

Hello since we do not have any telegram channel, I am sure this is not only way to you some few question of the project.
I know that Bitcoin2 is a fork of Bitcoin, but is Bitcoin2 a hard fork or a soft fork of the original currency? i don't have any information about these project all over the internet, and I also found out that Bitcoin2 is not listed in the upcoming forks of Bitcoin in the year 2018.

I am a first timer studying forks, is it normal that we don't have any information to view the core team of the project?

We are currently in 2nd Quarter of the Year and according to the Raodmap, Mobile Wallets, Marketing and Partnerships, Exchanges, In- wallet Decentralized Exchange must be in the process now, but I don't see enough information about that? Cry

Of course I'm in this project, don't worry, I just want answers.

Do we have any news coming this month?
1333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a chance Satoshi is dead? Car accident, heart failure, ect on: May 10, 2018, 10:03:56 AM
Well, this is a very funny topic to talk to. His/Their creation is now a very successful curreny in the market today, and is now being talked about by many big institutions globally. If satoshi is alive, then he is watching his creation grows. This nerd person is also one of the richest person in the world if he allowed himself to be spotlighted.

I hope that satoshi is in good shape, because if he sells all his holdings then it will be the downfall of Crypto.
1334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin & College students . on: May 09, 2018, 03:49:49 AM
As a Senior High School Student, I used to help my parents in financial problems, lending them some money when they are short and when their salary is not enough for our basic necessities. I spent few fiat money to reward myself such as gaming and music equipments as well as art materials. It is good to see that many young people are now being aware in financial status of their lives. Learning cryptocurrency is the most important thing and someday we the young people will be the pioneer in the near future.
1335  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: How/Why to trust Anonymous Developers and code? on: May 09, 2018, 02:48:19 AM
I think we should not only focus to developers, sometimes it is better to look at their source code. As of now, we do not know the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto but his/their project solves a lot of problem in transferring money. Sometimes they remain anonymous for the betterment of the project.

Trust yourself man, always be skeptical with these vast and wide ocean of crypto, only you can save yourself from danger, its very risky for you if you let other people handle your accounts, even if it is legit. Online communication should be avoided when dealing with money even if it is cryptocurrency deals. Be a skeptical person

What about this Full member? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1158644;sa=showPosts
I don't even know why he could achieve this rank within 3 months. Is he be considered shitposter? Because i can not even find one "good post" from his beginning posts. Huh

I think anyone who participates only in bounty campaigns aren't here for the forum and aren't particularly quality users. Although, I don't think it's specifically against the rules to only post bounty sign ups etc. Although, from my stand point I think he's a shitposter. Probably not justifying him being reported, but certainly should be rejected from campaigns.
What the heeeckk??!!! Most of his posts are from bounties, I'm glad that the merit system has been implemented, back in the old days lots of users here in this forum ranks up just by shitposting like this. It's very unfair for everyone because he earns without being useful in the community, Campaign manager should be warned about this type of people.
1339  Other / Meta / Re: Combine merit abuse with delete post and you are good to go on: May 07, 2018, 12:33:44 PM
Wow, so nice for those people here investigating such a cheating issues, whenever this merit got implemented in the system, I actually thought of this kind of problem that someday people here in bct will do meriting themselves and delete their post.

Pros: Good posts with merit that has been deleted would be a problem for people
COns: It can be a source of merit cheating and post bumping.
1340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A successful trader must be an educated trader? on: May 06, 2018, 01:56:29 PM
Not 100% true - I know some traders in the cryptosphere who doesn't even know how to read EMAs. In fact these folks do alot of speculations; but they earn handsome money, man.
I think it is some kind of luck, well good for them, but it's too risky when you always depend on luck, it is safer if you have a background during an actual trading to minimize loss. Honestly, sometiimes I always trust my intuition rather than analyzing haha
