Wish more people would speak up about their experience .. I was about to buy one from this guy
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=254533.0

Now im not so sure..

Why?

For me these cards work great.

Thanks for posting your expierience!

Im not so sure because of shit like this!

Used those cards, but they have also weak side - these cards can be blocked with all funds on them. All funds comming from Poland are checked by all banks because of criminal situation in Poland. In other countries card can be blocked already after first transaction and it doesn't matter - have you made withdraw from ATM or bought a chocolate bar... In such situation You loose Your money permanently. I have lost approx. 7k GBP...

P.S. This is good way to get funds from btc to cash anonymously, but first - order 1 card and check, will it be blocked or not. This post is just for safeness of Your money.

It would be nice if there were more people dialoging about their experiences .. at this point i do not feel comfortable in making the purchase. Im sure maybe after vetting it a lil further or dialoging with someone i trust about it... i may change my mind! At this point tho..

I read on another forum that a whole batch of these cards had been shutdown due to some fraud or something but these were similar cards purchased from the drk web.

Anyway.. Everyone has a different threshold on how much risk they are willing to take and i guess im right at mine so im exercising caution.

If you have good or bad experiences, let us know! It may help some of us on the sidelines to make an informed decision.

PS: If i buy one of these cards from here or otherwise i will review the process for onlookers!

Anyone using the beta a US user? Coinsetter is looking good but i have a US users question ..
Lets say the price of bitcoin is $720 like it is now and I deposit a single bitcoin into my coinsetter account.

If i then sell the bitcoin for $800, am i left with $800 in dollars on the exchange which i then have to purchase bitcoins to withdraw it?

OR

Or does my single bitcoin turn into 1.111 btc immediately?
( the .111 representing the $80 bucks or so that was profited in the sale )

1024  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is obvious there is huge selling waiting at $1000 mark - Will you sell too? on: November 21, 2013, 08:47:51 AM
Then why not selling 1% @ 1000? Nothing wrong with that.

The way im looking at it.. In January 2013 when btc was trading at 10 bucks i didnt even remotely think we would be where we are at now!

Bitcoin is moving astronomically fast! So is the infrastructure and the support!

I think its the only thing trading who's charts you can watch like a tv show! We havent seen anything yet! People are just getting their tip wet and getting all excited!

At 10k i would hope bitcoin has a foothold that has dug in a bit!  @ 20 - 30k i think bitcoin would be strutting like George Jefferson!

Everyone is on a different clock so i guess there is nothing wrong with it but considering how much of an infant bitcoin is and the what we have seen up till now ...  Im reserving cashing out so to speak till the 10k mark! The time between 1k and 10k may not be too long!

"Hold for the longest time"

1025  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is obvious there is huge selling waiting at $1000 mark - Will you sell too? on: November 21, 2013, 08:10:02 AM
 $10k! Ill sell 20% @ 10k!!

Selling at 1k is silly... Didnt we hit 1k the other day?! lol

Our infant currency isnt even teething..

I imagine they would tax the **** out of regular folk and make the mega corps and their driver less cars immune to the tax.
http://techcrunch.com/2013/09/03/after-258m-google-ventures-and-tpg-investment-uber-hires-finance-business-and-growth-execs/

Suddenly all the folks saying they will never get in a driverless car will see their tax bill and start abandoning their cars..

Instead they will be calling for a ride but instead of calling a cab you will be picked up almost immediately by one of Googles Ubers driverless cars roaming your current area in hopes of picking up a passenger so it can shove ads down your throat all the way to where-ever your going.

^^ I just made it the other day... I wish comboy had something like this that you can toggle on bitcoinity! Maybe a dedicated page with individual exchanges to toggle on/off!

On my setup i can add  or move them on screen like this!! Here is a shot with just gox to the side..
1034  Economy / Speculation / Re: Spread Mt.Gox-Bitstamp ??? on: November 18, 2013, 08:51:11 AM
its just a script (running in a windows GADGET) that lays on top of the desktop but its laggin on me.. Sometimes its fast and sometimes its slow! Havent really tried to figure out why.. Probably not the best way to get stats..

Edit: Forgot to note it was running in a gadget

What do you guys think of blockchain.info? I currently use it as a go to wallet but the input.io fiasco has me rethinking any online wallets regardless if they are an exchange or not!

Im considering a migration to Electrum. Tho i hear armory has some good reviews, not sure if i would use all its features. Just need simple and secure.

1038  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum - Bitcoin client for the common users (friendly and instant) on: November 15, 2013, 12:12:18 AM
^^ Have you tried opening notepad and pressing every key on your keyboard? (to make sure they work!!)

The keys on your keyboard may have gone bad .. which means you may have the right password, but no matter how many times you type it in it wont work!
