Hey people .. Ive been caught up with some life stuff and im catching up reading this thread and i cant believe mintpal wont respond to mjollnircoin.

  What a bunch of BS! I really like mintpals interface but ever since soul mention the issue ive been looking into it and it turns out he was right! That said its beyond sleazy and for sure not professional in any sense of the word to not respond to take down request from the owner .. Its dam near malicious!

It would be kinda messed up to vote for other coins just to bring us down the ranks.. as that would possibly affect the said coins in the same to the very fate we are trying to avoid!

Does mintpal not have reps here at bitcointalk! ??

On a side note i was talking to my buddy about some UFC access and its just as expensive as a slot on bittrex dashboard at the minimum (500-1000$). Tho the airtime would be great but im not so sure its worth the minimum exposure via in-ring prefight banner! Some of the big name fighters only have one sponsor like anderson silva who has one sponsor like "Mcdonalds" or something and so big name fighters bring in $100,000 plus for sponsors so big name fighters are out the question.




Now some of the smaller names like (Chris Camozzi) are figuring it out ! (pictured above with qrcode on shorts! UFC 175)

Anyway.. not so sure if we can take advantage ..

Im currently on the fence between just staying with Pow and maybe doing a compromise and go hybrid 90-95% like cayars was saying ..

 
Id like for us to have a bigger footprint and do a better job with awareness and getting our coin out there.. It sucks that bittrex has such a hefty price tag on the sponsored coin slots.. Good lo, im in the wrong business!

 

Soul_eater_123 mentioned colored coins and in game currency.. amongst other things, I think those are good ideas, if we can get in touch with game devs and give them an incentive to use mnr ...

The repeat payment system and merged mining were a few other things that stood out for me.. I think that would be a good step in the right direction as well as having an easy way to spend like Cayars was saying. If we dont get in enough peoples ear in terms of getting mnr out there to the masses, we surely arent going to get the attention of retailers. We need mobile wallets asap, for ios and android with qrcode/sms support.


If we cant get the big retailers to come to us the we need to target their smaller competitors so maybe we should have tools for merchants for platforms like wordress maybe in the form of a plugin so anyone with a wordpress site can install and sell their goods for MNR easy!


Another thing we can take advantage of that was mentioned is sponsors for athletes.. My friends brother is a UFC fighter and as an example all fighters have a banner  pre fight thas displayed in the ring and gets some good air time as they announce each fighter. I would love to see MNR coin on some a banners!  Example below!!


Here is some random ufc fighter with said banner behind him right before the fight.. Imagine a big MNR COIN sign right in the middle!





As with alot of things in life there are winners and losers but gambling generally brings no benefits outside of netting a balance for the winning party. It would be nice if we approached it with maybe a system that auto donate 5-10% of winnings to breast cancer foundation or something that can really make an impact .. Maybe we can rotate foundations and target multiple sclerosis, alzheimer's, autism, and cancer! If we can get the pros to outshine the cons then maybe it will be more palatable.

At bittrex when you are at your dashboard there are some sponsored coins at the top of the page getting some nice screen time! Does anyone know how much it costs to get us on?

Sorry to hear dutch! My sincerest condolences. My friends dad had terminal brain cancer and they gave him 6 months and he gave em 11 years back!

Life is so short,  its mind boggling how we all loose site of that sometimes. People are precious and irreplaceable and what they leave with us will last a lifetime .. I hope the best of times and the best moments stand out and shine as you remember your friend. May he rest in peace.

Tho i put in 1000MNR for the cause i wasn't too hot on paying them to list us either. It sounds a lot more palatable when you put it this way but 1tc is alot considering!..

What exactly are the details of the advertizement? X amount of days/weeks advertized on bittrex till listed? Or is it advertize with us and "maybe" we will list you when we feel like it?
 

 I just sent 1000 MNR to the vault. Thats my contribution to the 1btc target!

when i was a lil tike my uncle drilled a hole in a quarter and looped a string around it so i can play video games all day so..   when i needed a credit i just tossed in my special quarter and puled it right back out after the credit was given! lulz
