Oh i see! So in 6hrs when Egypt's Army pulls up in tanks to the palace, everyone on that photo is suddenly a terrorist? .. I mean Rebel..
1142  Other / Politics & Society / Morsi to Egypt, USA has my back Im not leaving! on: July 03, 2013, 07:07:49 AM
So millions of people in the streets of Egypt are protesting with crowds that have been rumored to be the biggest "protests" in human history.

They want him out ( president Morsi ) and they are not having three more years! The Egyption army gave him a 48hr ultimatum and he says he's not leaving!!

So is the US is going to Egypt to save president Morsi from the army of Egypt and its people? Or do they just become an ally of whoever is in charge?

Do the people suddenly become "the rebels" if Morsi stays? or do only Morsi supporters become Rebels?

1144  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why are people cheering that ASICMINER will bring 800-1000TH online this year? on: July 01, 2013, 01:35:05 AM
Well, you are free to buy stocks in ASICMiner if you do think they'll continue to do as well as they have.  So it's fair enough in that sense.

I am more worried that they will kill the price of BTC.  When mining is distributed, more of the miners keep the BTC or maybe spend it (I am a seller so I do have bias).  I do not see ASICminer spending BTC of things in the community, it could happen but it is not what they are set up to do.

Basically ASICminer is a drain on the community.  This does not mean they are doing anything wrong or should be stopped, it is just in most small miners interest not to support them.   You buy a USB stick from them, you allow them to put up an equal (or greater) amount of hash power to balance out their share of the network.   Certainly they can put up a lot more hash power with $100 then they are selling for $100.  Same goes with blade sales.  Also so far, most buyers from ASICminer simply paid too much for the product.

THIS!

The end is coming in slow motion. It will be death by a million cuts.. not a big bang!

Hence the reason people have been talking about it for decades..

Its a game of musical chairs except only a few can hear the music!

1147  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Ars Technica article on Butterfly Labs on: June 28, 2013, 11:01:51 PM
Or... maybe there's just nothing to find and BFL isn't some sinister black box that some people so desperately and pathetically want it to be?  Ever consider that option?

Some people so desperately want to find wrongdoing and maleficence somewhere, even where none exists, that they will believe anything. Any sort of rationality and intelligent thought was lost long ago.

The fact that super scammer, anti-semetic, racist like Bryan Micon is the best and most quoted person in the article should be indicative that there's not really anything sinister going on that isn't part of some mentally unbalanced persons tin foil hat conspiracy theory.

Get back in the kitchen and make me my pot pie Single

admittedly, i had never heard of bryan micon until i read the article but.. i think everyone agrees that 2013 might go down as the best time to have been wearing a tin foil hat!!!!

anyway.. lol @ donate to own charity!!

" According to incorporation documents filed in Wyoming, BF Labs Inc. has two listed directors: Chris Vleisides, a Kansas City photographer who takes photographs of the Kansas City Royals baseball team for a living, and an Iranian living in France named Nasser Ghosieri, who is also a “senior IT consultant” with Société Générale, a major French bank."

1150  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BOUNTY] Info leading to criminal arrest in ASIC Theft. Escrow via John K. on: June 22, 2013, 03:12:12 AM
^^ sometimes its better to live in a rough neighborhood. The thief gets an ass kicking and gets robbed shortly after leaving youre house and the guy who robbed him will try and sell it back to you when you get home from work not knowing its youre stuff!

Its like youre paying for a unsaid bounty! lolz

1151  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [BOUNTY] Info leading to criminal arrest in ASIC Theft. Escrow via John K. on: June 21, 2013, 04:12:51 AM
Man im sorry that happened to you!! Sad

The invasion of youre privacy and not knowing whats missing is the worst.. I used to stay in a really bad neighborhood so lets just say growing up i went through this a few times! One of my neighbors home was emptied with a uhaul .. literally emptied!

If you havent figured it out yet the camera you took pictures with is embedding the gps coordinates of where the image was taken. You took the pictures at home.., Uploaded to the forums or ebay and that was that!! Take the photos down if you haven't already. Turn the feature off on youre smartphone or camera!

Also you may want to inquire or ask avalon about a unique hardware id.. if you can get youre hardware and give that to people running pools..

If you can see it hashing on the network in a pool somewhere.. Maybe you can offer the bounty to people who run pools!!  But first you gotta see if they have hardware id's that can be read via a script.

I take it you didnt have a camera setup.. I have a multi camera setup in my home that triggers via motion and records video and audio 24hrs a day so just because you dont have security cameras doesn't mean your neighbors dont! Ask you neighbors and offer a reward for footage of that day or even a few days before to see if they were casing youre home ..

Also did the cops take prints ... did the thieves leave cables behind!? If the cops missed it or didnt take prints, have a third party do finger print on the cables and surrounding furniture and what not..

Also are you in the states.. Did you get a power supply by yourself trying to avoid customs issues? Look for youre power supply on craigslist! I believe power supply have a serial on them! Look for the model .. and obviously offer to buy if you find one local and compare serials..

Dont take anything for granted and think when and who you have dialoged with about asic's or bitcoin. Especially someone who has been in youre home!

Really sorry that happened to you! Good luck with the hunt..

Clearly you guys dont shoot the red light cameras down the minute they go up!

Nonetheless, You can fight a red light ticket .. in fact, class action lawsuits all over claim the redlight cameras are rigged to change from yellow to red at an astrological pace versus their normal counterparts!

This i believe was found out by an engineer who got a ticket in the mail near a university he was attending and while having coffee at a local coffee shop he noticed the speed change from yellow to red and began timing all the cameras in a 5-10 block radius. Then he found out that the city (SF) had given a third party, "the makers of the red-light camera" a deal that they would get a huge percentage of the red-light camera runners they caught! Soon after .. class action lawsuits started cropping up.. A near by city Emeryville California was pressured by the public to take down the cameras after they were found to have generated millions of dollars of tickets a year with no improvement to accidents or public safety!

There was also a case which im not sure of the outcome but, a man got pulled over for a dui and was "forced" to take a breathalyzer test and it was determined that he was shit face drunk according to the machine!!

He later demanded to see the source code of the said device (firmware) and since it was proprietary the company refused !!  A big fiasco became of it and in the end they found some erorrs in the source code but the "courts" determined the device was reliable enough or something like that! If i remember correctly it was in MN!

Obviously there is nothing better than an expert witness ("cop testimony") but in cases where machines are liable for the determination of the said crime there are avenues to take that maybe in the favor of the defendant!

As an example! If you ever get a speeding ticket and you were determined by radar to have been speeding..  fight it!!!

when you get to court, if the officer shows up.. ask to see the certificate of the radar gun!! They have to be certified yearly and if the are not calibrated and tested then your case or ticket can be thrown out!

^^ Ironically the guy got hit in front of a bar and they were trying to find his killer from the cameras at the bar ... but i dont think they did!

Its really messed up!
1155  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Speeding Tickets on: June 17, 2013, 03:22:20 AM
Wow, pulling over, where do you guys live? 70ies? Third world?

Here we have speed cameras, and you'll get a nice letter.  Smiley

The cameras kinda give a shit about passengers too.

Ok guys so since we have "Red light cameras" we need to stop at each "red light" and all the "stop signs" and dont drive on the other side of the road facing oncoming traffic.. and for the love of god stop doing donuts in the intersection!

No worries.. they have a glass guy!

Delivery Thia, or Chinese food .. Ak's, 9mm,  coke, heron, hookers  .. on sight mechanic, tow truck..

Now dont get me wrong ..there are role models sometimes.. on celebrity nights the warriors and raider players come by and do donuts ..  They tell everyone to put on a seatbelt and they warn everyone about the dangers of smoking weed and throwing Hennessy bottles at cops! Wouldnt wanna overload the glass guy with to much work.. I think he has a day job at the mayors office.

Depends on where ya at but if youre in deep east oakland you better be armed to the teeth!

Here is a clip where a mustang was doing donuts and shots get fired.. its particularly hilarious cause one guy was just walking through the video like "whatever"..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Tgvv72Wr0M&t=1m26s

Here is a friday night where a camaro and a corvette are doing donuts and right when the corvette finishes a figure 8 with the door open a cop shows up and they try to convince him to do donuts!!! LOOOOL

When that doesnt work out ..they kick his car and throw bottles and kick him out the sideshow! (does not com back!!)
