I was disturbed just after watching this... I wonder how disturbing it is to "do this" to someone everyday, multiple times a day. What kind of job is that? What kind of person takes that job? How soon after taking this job does the person end up in the chair?

If true, that tells me that all of the continental US VPN providers are under surveillance whether they know it or not. The terrain below the cables is hardly ever seen.. Dangerous path they going down, cutting off their toes to save their face won't work for long, if they can't stand any more when they run out of toes.
As already pointed out VPN services are a legit business, are they going to suspend all computer hardware sellers next because hackers use computers? Sounds stupid, but it's the same logic they seem to have used with VPN it seems.
Im not sure where the source of their stance is coming from but.. its worrisome in nature. If the thought of banning encryption is pondered ..let alone enacted or proposed. Btc would take a knee, and be de-knighted on sight! |

Eventually one would think there would be some blowback and companies would start boycotting US based services but... Visa and mastercard have a foothold so ingrained into the fabric of society's its gonna take a movement to get a considerable amount of motion! It may take a social movement.. a community based and possibly a politically powered movement!! Maybe a BITCOIN movement!  ---- Unfortunately America is busy watching american idol, dancing with the stars, nascar, pierce morgan live, the nba playoffs, the superbowl or some other distraction that has people paralyzed and dazed and the issues come and go like a commercial thats on high volume but gets ignored like the line up of side-effects from a big-pharma adverts!!

I never thought i would see this day!.. Funny enough my vpn provider still accepts paypal.. Luckily btc too.. Whats the saying. if youre vpn provider doesn't accept bitcoin youre at the wrong vpn provider! Whats is not clear to me is the legality of this... How is this legal for them to single out an industry and target them! A legal industry. Lots of businesses i work with have their employees use a vpn when overseas to access the work network and proprietary info! I wonder how far we are from an all out ban on encryption! (Army has suspended the constitution)!!! Morsi to Egypt, USA has my back Im not leaving! Actually, Obama called him last night to remind him that the US does not support any party in Egypt. Rather they support democracy, non-violence, and the rule of law. Clearly the white house is avoiding taking sides. It is a sticky wicket for the U.S. Morsi is the fairly elected official, but he is using his power to institute anti-democratic measures. Yeah i think its a tough position to be in for the us! I guess they would want new elections!.. So they could be an ally to the elected official? |

I feel sorry for those Egyptians, after the effort it took to depose Mubarak, they actually believed they might have developed a decent Constitution and Government. At least the unique thing about Egypt is the military is quite helpful to the people rather than the Government and doesn't hold a 50 year junta once they get in.
This! I cant imagine what they have been through as a whole in the last year. I don't see Morsi staying in power much longer. He'll soon be out of there one way or another. My judgement may be clouded by my hopes though. Unfortunately for the Egyptian people they won't get any help from the U.S. Obama runs foreign affairs based upon what he thinks some people will think. For some reason he thinks it will make him look good if he sticks by Morsi. If he instead stuck to the reasoning that got him to say Mubarak should go then he would be saying the same thing about Morsi.
