They couldn't reveal detailed info about the product or the date because if they say "A" it will spread and if they can't delliver then loads of bs will be floating around on the net( just check BFL threads).
And you can preorder without paying at the moment, when more detailed info about the product will be out(on their homepage) preorders will receive e-mail and will have to pay for their order or loose their place in queue.
Ergo, the concern, hence the trying to stop the scam in its tracks. Do you really think they actually have a cutoff of 500 units? There is no way in hell we would be able to prove such an event. First 500 pays 100% upfront to be in queue. Next 500 pays 50%, then the other 50% prior to 2-3 weeks before shipping. Either way, 1,000 people will be paying 100% prior to a vapor shipping announcement. They can easily tell the first 1,000-2,000 people who sign up that they are of the first 500 people who HAVE to pay 100% as soon as they get an email from them. Where's the accountability that there would ONLY be 500 people offered this option. And, are we talking 500 people or 500 units? The text I read (sorry for not quoting) reads people. If viable, KNCMiner was given ample opportunity to get in front of this before it exploded in their face, but now they seem to taking the stance that they don't want to be in the same position as the BFL threads, but that's exactly what they now have. What these people/companys dont understand is that sentiment grows astronomically and once you get into BFL land the community will digital lynch youre brand! Behave in a manner thats authentic and the community will reward you greatly.. Silence breeds concern and concern turn into fear and uncertainty and when you are asking people to invest in your company or brand at such as scale and you ask of them "trust"... You better be authentic, genuine and forthcoming at the minimum. |

Hope you guys get it resolved.. Im a bitfloor refuge looking for new exchange and tho i dont use SEPA its worrisome nonetheless.
Good luck and post your results here please so all the onlookers can see. Hopefully mtgox fixes the issues. Sounds bank related. Eur banks in particular if its just SEPA.

Thats funny i found them right away using the link you gave. I used CampBX for a little bit last summer. Stopped using them in favor of Bitfloor. But since Bitfloor is closing down, I have to find myself another exchange instead of MtGox. Was looking into CampBX again last night, as well as BitStamp and TradeHill. I think they are mostly trust worthy. A remember a couple of reputable forum users saying good things about them awhile back.
Thanks for chiming in.. Im signed up with bitstamp need to figure out a strategy for easy fiat withdrawal. I want to actively trade on two exchanges, sometime at the same time so im still looking for a bitfloor alternative. |

Well I have been using them for quite a while and they have been getting progressively worse!
They still owe me around two thousand dollars in postal money orders from January and have
stopped responding to inquiries for certified mail and postal money order documentation!
I e-mailed them over a half dozen times concerning this matter and the last, two weeks ago.
no response whatsoever.
I guess that I will have to start a what's up with campbx thread and supply the documentation.
Dam, i was just about to try them. They owe you thousands from January! Nightmare?? Do tell..(lots of on lookers) im looking for an exchange since bitfloor went down. i'm pretty pissed i didn't get this email. now i'm stuck with USD in an account filled with uncertainty
Man, sorry about that.. I didnt get the email either, i had some kind of premonition and pulled out my USD and bitcoin 3-4 days ago.. I can only imagine youre position. I read on bitfloors twitter account that funds are safe so you should have no worries! If bitfloor ever came back than never receiving and email would be a huge gripe to bring up! Thats the first thing i would ask!! You have a huge issue regarding funds that leave you indefinitely closed and you dont notify all youre customers??! At the same time in the back of my hind im thinking they were trying to do it in groups or maybe timezones so they dont overwhelmed or cause a panic.. but still!!!!! (anything with funds involved!!) If i was bitfloor i woulve been like .. hey guys bank of america feked us and were done! Come get youre funds asap.. lolz (ok so im trying to make a lil light of the situation but..) Hope youre all good. Once they enabled direct deposit funds were in my account 2 1/2 days.. or sooner. Just enabling direct deposit took 2-3 days tho.. Good luck & let us know! |
