whats the problem? it mines some time than i see this and miner restarts, also sometimes it restarts and shows this message right after start...

Which coin are you trying to mine and on what pool?
It looks like you want to mine with cn/r or cn/wow on a pool that's not for that algo.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.8.0 - native algo switching on: March 09, 2019, 09:47:52 PM
I woke up this morning found all my rigs has 0 hash rate and miners keep restarting. I changed the commands from normalv8 to normalv4 and everything back to normal. Anyone has similar issues please try this.

SRBMiner-CN.exe --enablecoinforking --config Config\config-normalv4.txt --pools pools.txt --logfile %LOGTIME%

Monero switched algorithm few hours ago, so normalv4 must be used from now on for mining Monero.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.8.0 - native algo switching on: March 09, 2019, 07:03:48 PM
is there a way to disable one GPU via config files without deleting it from device list?
I mean I want to see its temperature in miner's API with no hashing like I pressed a number in console window

Well, no. You don't want to use a GPU but want to see it's stats, is not possible  Smiley
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.8.0 - native algo switching on: March 09, 2019, 07:02:47 PM
i did not get shares for 15minutes and it restarts miner...every 15minutes as no shares. with same settings on 1.7.0 it works and shares accepted.

EDIT: seems there are trouble with fork... block time 2 minutes and now it is 6 and still on block 1788000...
It seems that it does not work? I have version 1.8.0 and my graphics are rx550 2GB, hashes are 0 in all graphics ... The configuration file I put normal_v4, also provide normal_v4_64, what difference is there? SO windows 10 pro 64bits

If hashes are 0 it means the video driver crashed. You should lower the intensity especially cause those are 2gb cards, probably the auto setup set a value too high for 2gb.
You have everything in the readme.txt or on the first page of this thread on how to set things manually.

You got some trouble there if you are not getting any shares within 15 minutes. There is no trouble with fork cause this first block will take a lot of time to be found.
But you should have shares found. On my test rig with mixed cards everything went smooth, algos were switched and now it is mining with normalv4 (cn_r).

How can I prevent the miner compile binaries for my IGP ? I have a Ryzen 2400G which as use as main display.

With this config file:

{
"cryptonight_type" : "graft",
"intensity" : 58,
"double_threads" : true,
"shutdown_temperature" : 80,
"off_temperature" : 80
}

"gpu_conf" :
[
   { "id" : 0, "intensity" : 58, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2, "fragments" : 8},
   { "id" : 1, "intensity" : 58, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2, "fragments" : 8},
   { "id" : 2, "intensity" : 58, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2, "fragments" : 8},
   { "id" : 3, "intensity" : 58, "worksize" : 8, "threads" : 2, "fragments" : 8},
]

The miner won't start.

Thanks

Code:
{
"cryptonight_type" : "graft",

hello, tomorrow is monero fork cryptonight R and can someone recommend me settings for new fork for amd rx 580 4/8gb rig?
how the config file should looks like? i was mining eth all the time 1150/850 // 2000+-/850 stable.

thank you for all advises.

EDIT: im using default bat from 1st page so it sohuld switch automaticaly and i left config on auto.
SRBMiner-CN.exe --enablecoinforking --config Config\config-normalv8.txt --pools pools.txt

my concerns is however pool.txt. i will also use nanopool, however my adress from bittrex is a bit shortet and i have "tag" instead of paymentID. is that ok if i use wallet.tag instead of wallet.paymentID setup?

As long as the wallet address starts with '4' you are ok.

Example :

1.

Config\config-normalv8.txt -> set it up if you want
Config\config-normalv4.txt -> set it up if you want

2.

Make sure you have both normalv8 and normalv4 set in algos.txt

Code:
	{
"algo" : "normalv8",
"config" : "Config\\config-normalv8.txt",
"hashrate" : 1,
"startup_script": ""
},
{
"algo" : "normalv4",
"config" : "Config\\config-normalv4.txt",
"hashrate" : 1,
"startup_script": ""
}

3.

pools.txt

Code:
{
"pools" :
[
{
"pool" : "xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:14444",
"wallet" : "4A5hJyu2FvuM2azexYssHW2odrNCNWVqLLmzCowrA57xGJLNufXfzVgcMpAy3YWpzZSAPALhVH4Ed7xo6RZYyw2bUtbm12g.donation",
"password" : "x"
},
{
"pool" : "xmr-eu2.nanopool.org:14444",
"wallet" : "4A5hJyu2FvuM2azexYssHW2odrNCNWVqLLmzCowrA57xGJLNufXfzVgcMpAy3YWpzZSAPALhVH4Ed7xo6RZYyw2bUtbm12g.donation",
"password" : "x"
}
]
}

4.

start.bat

Code:
SRBMiner-CN.exe --enablecoinforking --config Config\config-normalv8.txt --pools pools.txt

If you downloaded 1.8.0 and did not touch algos.txt and Config folder, then you can skip steps 1,2 because it is all pre-set.

how to setup intensity through bat?
Code:
SRBMiner-CN.exe --gpureorder --config Config\config-graft.txt --ccryptonighttype graft --cpool pool.graft.hashvault.pro:7777 --cwallet zzzzzzzzzz --logfile %LOGTIME% --apienable
wont load intensity from config-graft.txt

First page or readme :

Code:
Parameters:

--ccryptonighttype value (algo to use)
--cgpuid value (gpu id, comma separated values, use --listdevices to see available)
--cgpuintensity value (gpu intensity, comma separated values)
--cgputhreads value (number of gpu threads, comma separated values)
--cgpuworksize value (gpu worksize, comma separated values)
--cgpufragments value(can be 0,1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128, comma separated values)

--cgputargettemperature value (gpu temperature, comma separated values)
--cgputargetfanspeed value (gpu fan speed in RPM, comma separated values)
--cgpuofftemperature value (gpu turn off temperature, comma separated values)
--cgpuadltype value (gpu adl to use (1 or 2), comma separated values)
--cgpuoldmode value (old kernel creation mode - true or false, comma separated values)

- No more mixing of cmd line setup and config files, now it's one or the other

That's why nothing is read from config-graft.txt

--cgpuintensity 120 wont work in bat. neiter --cgpuintensity 120,120,120,120,120,120,120,120,120 (9 vega rig)
Have made standalone txts and all work like a charm. 120int@vega64=2720h/s

it works in bat too, but you need to set cgpuid too so it knows for which gpu is which setting

cpuid 0 = intel

remove word 'value' after --gpuintensity 😀

Running RX 570s on v1.8.0 on the new Graft algo with same settings / OC as before crashes / reboots my miner.

Anyone know what has to be changed for new algo to run? Less OC?  More voltage? Or any other miner settings like intensity?

There is no before, as this is a new algorithm.
Try the auto setup for a start point

I get
 "error cl_invalid_binary when calling clcreateprogramwithBinary [ctx - program] for DeviceID 0 (thread 0)
Error when doing initizalition stuff for GPUs"

Is this wrong path or what is this error?

maybe you have an onboard gpu that should be disabled

Mining turtle coin is a nightmare with vega64 on win10 & srbminer. I cant get it to work.
Win build 1809
Drivers: 18.6.1
Config: 6x vega64, 4gb ram, celeron

I can only pray that these settings will hold for monero fork.

I know people are running srbminer & Vega64 without any nightmares. Crazy, right ?  Cool

my rig just freezes and reboots with the new version 1.8.0...cards are rx550.
it works fine with 1.7.9

Give more info, "just freezes" isnt too much info, you must admit that..

already tried new version on 2 my rigs, all are on rx550s, i edit v4 to v8 in start.bat, miner starts, compiles kernels but then just freezes and rig goes to reboot...should i edit something else except v4>v8 ?? i have 18.6.1&18.5.2 radeon drivers and win10 1803.

Try setting up gpu's with gpu_conf by hand, maybe you need to use lower intensity values than the auto setup gives.

Yes its true,system freezes, same thing to me using rx550 2GB, i have also rx550 4GB and works fine, maybe 2GB Gpu's are out.

They are not out they probably need lower intensity...

V1.8.0
- Added new algo 'Graft' (graft, cryptonight_graft, cryptonight_reversewaltz, cryptonight_v8_reversewaltz)
- Added cmd parameters giveuplimit, retrytime, mainpoolreconnect, minrigspeed, shutdowntemperature, rebootscriptgpuwatchdog, rebootscriptminrigspeed
- No more mixing of cmd line setup and config files, now it's one or the other (of course you can still define failover pools if using cmd setup)
- It is enough to set ccryptonighttype, cpool, cwallet in cmd, gpu's will be auto setup
- Fixed a few bugs

+ Graft will fork these days, so their new algo called CN Reverse Waltz added. You can set cryptonight_type to any of these : graft, cryptonight_graft, cryptonight_reversewaltz, cryptonight_v8_reversewaltz

To use the auto switch on fork option do this :

start.bat
SRBMiner-CN.exe --enablecoinforking --config Config\config-normalv8.txt --pools pools.txt

Explained :
1. Start mining with normalv8 algo, because Graft still uses that algo
2. Add --enablecoinforking parameter so miner knows you want to use the built-in (predefined) fork informations
3. When pool sends a job for the new algo, miner will auto switch to the new algo,if you have it defined in algos.txt (and you do by default in algos.txt)

+ Added a few more parameters to cmd, that were already available through config files.
Now every important parameter can be used also in cmd line. What's new is that now you can use one or the other method for defining things, so you use cmd line setup or config file. No more mixing as before.
Algo switching still needs the config method to be used.

The minimum config needed to start mining is :

SRBMiner-CN.exe --ccryptonighttype normalv4 --cpool pool:port --cwallet wallet

This will auto setup every AMD Gpu you have, and start mining with normalv4 algo on pool:port you set.

+ Still trying to fix those nasty random crash bugs.. Also fixed a few more Smiley

Hello,

I can ask for help. Now I'm using XMR CAST, but unfortunately not updated. How can I set SRBMiner to automatically switch to Monero for pool mineXMR? THX
