I don't know how you guys do it.
My Vega 56's (Reference models) with Vega 56 BIOS runs 2010H/s on Normal V7 but on Heavy I am not able to get more than 1350H/s.

I have even now tried Vega 56 @ 1437/1100 907mV -30 power target on 56 intensity but no luck still only get 1350H/s per card.

My normal clocks on NormalV7 are: 1475/1100 @ 915 and 900

The miner isn't stable for vega 56/blockchain drivers, I noticed that on some testing I could get 1430+ average and then afterwards dropped to 1300+ that's after tweaking config files for intensity and worksize as well as some restarts/driver resets/hbcc memory toggles. Castxmr on the other hand will work just alright after a restart and driver reset. Now I'm mining 1430+ average(p6 1212/875,p7 1407/875, p3 95/875).

or just drop the blockchain drivers and use 18.3.4 where you don't need to disable/enable devices for better hashrate.

Please add the carry symbol to the log file. It's hard to understand anything in this.

yes its hard if you don't turn on word wrap. Or even better, open it in an editor that understands new line char (notepad++)

Hi doktor,

Could you please check the screen shot please? Currently I am mining sumo on sumo.fairpool.xyz using version 1.5.0.
On my high hashrate rig, it is quite often to get million difficulty as shown in the screen shot below.
I tried with other miner as well like cast xmr 1.0.0, no issue with difficulty. Unfortunately, I didn't happy with it's hashrate.

And when the miner gets million difficulty, the miner will just display the hashrate, and few minutes later, it will run hashing again with difficulty 2000.

i hear you but the pool sets the diff, according to the speed you send shares. The more shares you send in shorter time so will the pool raise the difficulty. If the pool is set up good it should set a diff high so you should get approx 10 shares / min.
Others also complained on fairpool, but they said they have problems with every miner there, not only SRB.
1704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.1 on: May 07, 2018, 05:15:56 AM
So i tried to set an auto start after restart but when the miner opens it shows random purple letters and shuts off.

also still would like to know why 1 rig when i try to run it, it compiles submits a share or two and then a message comes up in the miner stating " Something went wrong, i think you are up to something naughty and I have to stop you" and the miner shuts off

what is different on that rig than on the others where it is working?
That is an anti debug trigger you are seeing there.
1705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.1 on: May 06, 2018, 08:44:54 PM

Doctor my main gpu is doing around 870 but if i go see a tv show or something else he will go for 980, now what i do is when i let it mine i simply let vlcplayer open with something at pause and the gpu will always be doing 980h/s. Why i get more 100h/s if i am running a vlc player? I tried increasing dificulty but same results.

im not smart enough for this question.

EthMonitoring v34 has now support for SRBMiner.

Awesome, thank you  Smiley

still have the "miner do nothing after switch back from dev fee" problem,i got the log this time,it happens some times a day。as you can see, it take about 6 minuts for one round......the miner is SRBminer1.4.9。the last message is network error,but i think it's not my network problem,this only happened when the miner switch from dev fee to my pool!

No you dont you can clearly see it disconnected nicely. The connection with your pool dropped, as you can see, network error and pool not responding. i guess it reconnected after the last line and everything was ok.

Is it possible to pass intensity, dual thread options through the command line rather than config files?

not yet, but its on the wishlist, so be patient Smiley

CryptoNight Light Variant 1
it "lite" ?

I don't think there is CryptoNight "Light" Variant 1.
There is CryptoNight-Lite Variant 1.
In SRB, you can use cryptonight_type = "litev7". Turtlecoin uses this algo.

There's a list of coins/cryptonight_type in the first post.

For Iridium use litev7

Could you please add more details how to use the optional parameters like devcon because every time when i try to add them to the config file it is giving error

Thanks

"intensity" : 0,
"double_threads" : true,
"restart_devices_on_startup" : true,
"restart_devices_on_startup_script" : "runmeafterdevconresettedgpus.bat"
}

you put runmeafterdevconresettedgpus.bat in the miner folder.

oh tahiti now i see. probably does not support overdriveN, just older versions

well it shows overdrive tab in AMD drivers gui & i am controlling it with overdrive5 tool... https://github.com/BackupGGCode/overdrive5
- take a look (opensource) its old but gold - working r9 to vega flawlessly.

right, overdrive 5. atm overdriveN only supported by miner. when i finish the important stuff i will look into it.

thanks man, and please take a look at fan speed control also.
currently it`s not setting speed at all. w 18.4.1 18.3.4 drivers tested at least on baffins (sapphire rx 550 2gb)
if you`ll need any help w testing let me know )
I am ready to test or provide you any logs.
hope you ll finish other stuff soon.
Thanks.

Are you sure that this app works on Vegas ? I mean did you try it yourself?

i still don't understand what needs to be fixed, if ADL wasn't working you would get this :

GPU0:    486.0 H/S [T: 0c, RPM: 0, CC: 0 MHz, MC: 0 MHz]

instead of this

GPU0:    486.0 H/S [T: 64c, RPM: 0, CC: 1215 MHz, MC: 1950 MHz]

I have a funny problem!
When I use the 1.3.2 version I can connect to every pool and mine without any problems.
Yesterday I download the latest version 1.5.1 and changed all of the data in the config.txt file, but as I start the miner it connects to nano pool to mine monero and it does not get any work? Why is it happening and what may be causing the issue?
I am mining with 1.3.2 simply because with the pre-previous version I had the same issues - I think 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 and I rolled back to 1.3.2.
I really want to use the latest version because it gives more detailed information regarding the cards, optimizations etc etc, simply don't want to be stuck in the past Cheesy

First page :

ATTENTION:
From V1.4.0 the miner uses a separate pools.txt file, where you define your pools, wallet, etc.
Config from older versions that includes pool related data, won't be used!

Experiencing strange issue with SRBminer. Everything working like charm for one or two days, and than all of a sudden, i get hashing speed zero - 0. There is no error or similar, just hashing speed is 0 but miner keeps working so on.

What im doing wrong? Is it bug in software? Can i make SRBminer to restart the PC after zero hashing speed occurs? Thx.

In win10 if you click in the console window, it pauses the app (claymore and other miners also). so until you press a key on keyboard its "stuck".
Also could be you were browsing, watching a movie etc etc. If none of the above, and it just a specific card, not  all of them, just lower intensity by 1-2 for that card.
Miner automatically restarts if a gpu's hashing speed is 0 for about 1.5 minutes. And yes, you can also restart pc if for some reason the auto restarter watchdog isnt working for you.
You have info on the first page for this.
