1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 9 practical tips for investing in Defy! on: December 10, 2020, 09:32:06 PM
@OP, you need to include your reference links here. I am sure those you got those from some articles out there. And for me, one practical tip is to check first the foundation of the project, is it authentic or just copying other's platforms. Because when you dig further, you will see if they are really capable of running a true DeFi platform. But if you will see on their homepage that they are in beta, doubt if they can truly create a working platform.
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looks like another big company will add crypto as payment soon on: December 09, 2020, 11:30:54 PM
Spotify? I love to listen spotify but I am not using the premium and besides they have no ads in their platform to make them also earn for. However, there are few and I think it would be enough from them to earn from these ads. Anyway, upgrading to premium would be most likely to happen when they will integrate cryptocurrency in payment option. As a spotify user and at the same time crypto user then it will.be easy for me to go in premium now. It is more likely they reaching out to their users to get the spotify premium.

If this will push thru, a lot of its users will definitely go for it. I mean use crypto in their transactions and like your case, you will go to premium. And I believe, accepting crypto in their platform will not be very long. I am seeing next coming year to realize this. With PayPal's move, I guess some companies are now looking at the possibility of including crypto in their payment option as well.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best trusted exchange for trading Altcoins with no KYC? on: December 08, 2020, 11:04:43 PM
Binance is a big exchange and it is perfect to trade altcoins on Binance. They have many pairs for altcoins and many types of trades. The exchange don't ask KYC if you don't want to withdraw more than 2 BTC each day.

Does it meet your demand?

https://www.binance.com/en
Fee: https://www.binance.com/en/fee/schedule

I would suggest the same. And if the OP wants to withdraw in BTC again, they have lower fee as compared to other exchanges. And no KYC below the daily max withdrawal of 2BTC. So far, my experience is great with this exchange. And you can't say anything about their liquidity as well. No wonder many people are suggesting this exchange. And don't forget that they have SAFU also, in case you want assurance of your funds.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 07, 2020, 11:18:46 PM

Sorry if this one might an off topic on but would really be worth the mention about earning on possible exhibition fight where that recent Tyson and Roy Jr. fight did really get
1 million pay per view only in US. There's no total calculation yet but basing those numbers then we can presume that making money on this pandemic season with these
fighters are plausible: https://www.sportbible.com/boxing/boxing-news-legends-stats-mike-tyson-vs-roy-jones-jr-drew-over-1-million-pay-per-view-buys-20201202

When things gets heat and hyped up then expect that there's really a big potential on milking out some money into its fans or supporters.

The question on this one is that, will Mayweather be showing off some running skills on this fightGrin

If he will indeed show again his running skills here, I guess people need to wake up to reality that this person is  not worth to watch in boxing. He is already fighting Logan Paul, who is far far below his skills. So don't ever think that he will run around the ring here and just counting points. He can enjoy all his money but boxing fans don't deserve to watch a lame fight.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I want to know about this game. on: December 07, 2020, 09:57:48 PM
Thanks for the info, I guess I'll be following this project. It would be nice if they opened their thread here, I think they could find many new clients this way.
By the way, I think that if they become popular then their YouTube channel will bring in no less profit than their main activity  Cheesy

Thanks for the suggestion with YouTube Cheesy

Do you know which subforum we should best post our official thread in?
I've read the rules and it looks like altcoin services are not allowed in the main gambling forum. And its not clear to me if you consider Ethereum an altcoin or not...
Our official go-live post in the "Gambling > Game & Rounds" subforum didn't get much attention, maybe that was not the best place:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5295092.0

It is good that you have official account in the forum. A lot of users here in this thread thought that you don't have account yet. Anyway, the gambling board here is the usual go-to of gamblers. If you can add bitcoin as part of payment method in your site, you can easily post your own thread in the gambling section. I don't know if it would be easy in your current set-up though. This thread itself attracted attention as compared to your own thread in games & rounds.  Tongue
1166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: December 06, 2020, 11:43:42 PM
$10?  I can see no reason why not. A a lot has been developed and a lot has been tried out from the beginning. Some was good, some was bad. But they have always continued and that is good. But the disadvantage was the marketing. Fortunately, they understood it this year and did more marketing. This is also reflected in the chart. I am confident and WAVES is definitely a long-term investment.

What kind of marketing they did this year? Sorry but not following their updates. As I was also curious when they launched their new exchange - waves.exchange, they haven't done any marketing in the community here or that I was not aware of. I am just wondering why the waves team are not really active here in the forum to promote their exchange and it seems that they are still not doing good even if they already migrated to this new one?
1167  Economy / Gambling / Re: WELCOME TO ANONYMOUS CASINO – BITCOIN CASINO ONLINE on: December 06, 2020, 08:33:33 PM
The OP is getting online but decide not to address questions from the users here. So guess what, if they are indeed serious in exploring their opportunity in this forum, they should start accommodating those questions and be transparent about it. If not, what's the reason of creating their thread here if they will not be responsive to the community?
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BitOfTrade — Instrument for passive income and profit accumulation. on: December 05, 2020, 11:22:51 PM
a very extraordinary increase of 196% in just a month which is a very extraordinary achievement, and hopefully in the future the BTF token will also be able to enter the top market, not only that all missions and developments must be achieved
I guess there is nothing special with it since we are on the bullish trends at the moment furthermore there are no new updates from the team itself unless the bounty campaign that they launched lately, there is a chance it just another pump and dump scenario.

we're keeping moving forward, stay tuned!
Can you tell us clearly all of the token allocations in this project?

When I browsed their website, I don't think this passive income will last long.  When most users stop using this platform, where will they get the dividends payout? How are they earning just by deposits of their users? They need to have at least backup business that will provide real revenue to them. Because if they will just rely on users that will deposit on their platform, this will just die on its own.
1169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Hyper Credit Network (HPAY) on: December 05, 2020, 09:58:00 PM
If you want to reach out people, you have to launch your own website at the very least. I don't think people will trust a blockchain project without a decent site to begin with. Aiming to be a payment solution is not a walk in the park. As I have said, having a secured website is the first step to achieve your mission here. Social media is not enough for the merchants to trust you to be included in their payment options.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A game called Ending on: December 05, 2020, 08:26:08 PM
I think it's only familiar and popular in our country. But for the other countries, they don't have this style of gambling through getting scores of a basketball game at the end of the game. I haven't seen a bookie that have this as well but if there will be, I think it's an interesting feature that they can add for each games for basketball. They could as well add it to other games that has a long scoring for the sports but I think it's only ideal for basketball. Maybe in e-sports like Dota 2 can be applied as well through scoring/kills at the end of a match.

Haven't seen that kind of betting in any sportsbook that I encountered here. That's a special betting game though. But if you have local sportsbook in your area, lucky if you have crypto sportsbook, that will be a good addition as your locals will be the patrons on this game. And since it is already a popular betting game, it would not be hard for the sportsbook to get clients.
1171  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin whales selling to institutions as Grayscale adds 7,188 BTC in 24 hours on: December 04, 2020, 11:46:13 PM
Correct me if I am wrong, but I feel terribly bad for the small investors who are forced to sell when the price dropped to $16600 as you have mentioned. Goes to show how much power these whales have even over our bitcoins. One sell and *poof*, everything gone.
I've read of that news even earlier before bitcoin reached $19k. Grayscale has been doing that, IIRC, since the earliest of first quarter - February 2020.
Grayscale Investments bought up to 33% of all newly minted bitcoin over the last three months, as the asset manager continues to stockpile major cryptocurrencies.
That being said, what I'm more scared about is these corporations jumping into the cryptocurrency train. They weren't supposed to be here in the first place since bitcoin is for the free people, and I do appreciate the fact that with them on the industry, it allowed more people to invest. However, I also see this as them doing what megacorporations are good at, capitalism. Hopefully we find a way to put the power back to the people and to tip the scales in our favor.

Anyway, even if these mega corporations will join the crypto market, I don't think they have the solo power to dictate the price in the market. Because if they do, then the btc price may not increase as what we want to. It is the supply and demand why we are experiencing the price change. So if they will not create demand then the market will eventually die. So having all sorts of investors in crypto will do good in the market. Not that only few people or institutions are holding the neck of btc price. It is not good on their agenda if they will just amass the large percentage and control the market.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: December 04, 2020, 10:43:02 AM
If DeFi doesn't get revamped, then it is headed for doom just like ICOs. DeFi is a major breakout in crypto technology and real world use case but as usual, it has been hijacked by bad projects. First started as a new revolutionary, it didn't take long to evolve to a contest of which projects can offer the biggest apy and profit. Funny thing is that these projects do have less security concerns and take very little time to inspect their defi contracts before deployment. Very soon, people will start avoiding defi projects due to too much losses.

Most of them are heading to their grave very soon. Only few of them have actual use case and can implement their objectives. Because very few have strong team with capability to realize their platform. So look for team that are actually working on their project, not those teams that are working how to manipulate their market. If you can see that their site is in forever beta stage, doubt if they are truly working on their project.
1173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ POLL ]: Boxing - Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev on: December 03, 2020, 11:40:08 PM
41 votes in the poll so far

34 vote for Joshua
7 votes for Pulev
0 votes for a draw

The fight is around the corner, it takes on 12th December 2020 at Wembley Arena in front of 1000 fans. I still think Joshua will win this fight but it will not be straightforward.

Voted for Joshua here as well. Even the odds in sportsbooks are favouring Joshua. But you will go home as big winner if you bet on Pulev and if it will end up being him the winner. Betting on Joshua has very small profits to gain. Unless, you are betting big amount here.

1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I want to know about this game. on: December 03, 2020, 10:12:36 PM
I just checked the video out and honestly all my troubles regarding animal rights and such, all went away, as well as my questions regarding the provability of the game. I'd say it's... Interesting and quite weird as we are beginning to trust a hamster more than our fellow people. Nonetheless this is an innovative concept, and would love to see this project succeed in the future.
I often see some videos of this where the people are arranging their own track of obstacles and take a video of it. I was actually interested in the game knowing that it will be provably fair and will run on the Ethereum Blockchain. The only thing I am concerned with si the long-term excitement that the players could get when playing this game. The obstacle should always change as it will be boring if they can only see the same tracks over and over again. They can also think of other ideas aside from marbles to make gambling game.

It just wasn't clear from the video how the game itself will run as I was confused whether it will be a live video like the video posted, or an animated game.
Exactly, gamblers would want a new flavor to spice up their game every now and then, and it's the reason why this game is blowing up in this forum. As the project progresses and its funding increased, we hope to see different racetracks powered by different hamsters with a live feed on the hamsters too cause they are cute.

Hamsters has long been explored with the use of these mazes and tracks. But it is my first time to see them to be used in the gambling platform. But I am wondering, even if this game is live, is there a bit of delay in broadcasting it? As I have seen, they have 20% house edge here, though 50% will be used for the next seed round. That's high though. I hope someone from the team knows that they are being discussed here in the forum.
1175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Data safety on Centralized exchanges on: December 03, 2020, 08:13:10 PM
We know it's the exchange duty to secure user's data but everyone should note that, this data is safe with a third party, hence anything can happen to your data at any point in time.
It once happened to binance when users kyc data leaked in the year 2019, this isn't the first time we are experiencing data bridge. We should be careful when dealing with a platform that requires users information especially centralized exchanges.
Personally, I have two emails. One I used for non cryptocurrency activities, offline work and the one I used basically for online business, multiple registration on centralized exchanges. This way, if my online email is leaked, I don't bother because I don't do kyc since I'm eligible to withdraw at least 2btc in centralized exchanges.

NB: if you are scared of data bridge, use decentralized exchanges.

Yes, if you can just trade without submitting your KYC, the don't submit any doc. Because a lot of exchanges don't require KYC if you have daily withdrawal below 2-3 btc. So just take advantage of that opportunity, unless, you are a big timer in crypto, wherein you need a high withdrawal limit. And when you are talking about local exchange where you need to convert your crypto to fiat, usually they ask for ID, it is better not to submit your passport but other government IDs. We can never be sure about what will happen to these exchanges, even if they are boasting to have tight security protocols. Hackers are getting sophisticated because of the tools that are available now.
1176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Non-Standard Casino Games on: December 02, 2020, 11:49:39 PM
It is normal for us to feel bored with the choice of gambling games available today, because almost all gambling platforms offer
the same gambling games. Especially for people who play gambling every day, of course they will feel bored and want something
fresh. I recommend trying sports betting and esports, both of which offer different excitement. I myself, if I get bored of playing
gambling, am not looking for a new game, but maybe stop playing gambling temporarily.

Hey, there's a thread having a discussion of hamster-powered marble race.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5294998.0

It is quite a new one in gambling. So you may want to take a look. I don't know if the site is already accepting bets. But you can check this thread for more discussion of this game.
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Above $20,500, BTC will give $4k+ move. Here is why on: December 02, 2020, 10:54:16 PM
~ I guarantee.~

In a crypt, no one can give guarantees, you greatly overestimate your capabilities. In addition, it seems to me that you have a very weak justification for your prediction - why did you decide that exactly the levels that you voice are important? Your post looks like another unfounded prediction.

Very true! No one can guarantee in this market. Even experts can't give such guarantee to people. And the OP's username is cryptoadviser, won't follow his piece of advice here.  Roll Eyes He has no charts at least to support what he was saying here. Just baseless assumptions. I hope he will not delete this post later on.

It's ok though, at least we will know which traders that are sharing their analysis has weight and value or just another wannabee. So this could be a valuable advise or not.

Question though, which alt do the OP see that will give us a upside of x2 very quick? ETH or XRP?
I'm leaning towards XRP though, specially with the news of fork this December 12. But I'm not staying that long, just enough to give me some profits and then go back to bitcoin.

So you will be one of those XRP holders that will sell XRP after the snapshot?  Tongue
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] $YLD - YIELD.app | DeFi Banking in Your Pocket on: December 01, 2020, 11:45:34 PM
What a great news to be announced, I think the private presale result is satisfactory enough. Then I wonder how long those presale and public sale will be running? Is there any price change? Can we expect that token exchange listing will be Q1 next year?

How long? Check the Medium post closer to the date. https://trustswap.medium.com/e4e1b52c781

Price change? Still, $600K cap at $0.07 and $600K at $0.11.

Exchange listing? December 14th, 2020. 1 DEX and 1 Top Tier CEX.

Dec 14 is about 2 weeks from now. Curious how they will perform in DEX vs. CEX, in terms of trading volume. And how long can they sustain the interest of traders? With a lot of DeFi platforms to choose from, can they really get customers to use their platform's services?
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BCHA go to the moom 2021 on: December 01, 2020, 10:13:56 PM
How can I trust your prediction?  These offers are very similar to calls from financial experts on Twitter, they are just absurdly predictable and have no evidence for it.
I will greatly appreciate your analysis on this BCHA judgment, if it makes sense then I will invest with you and I will definitely send a profit if the plan is successful.

I want to know also why this another forked coin from forked coin will be successful someday? What will be the offering of this forked coin to the community? You can't just say that a specific alt will go x5 or x10 without any solid basis. Because if you have no reason, then, you are just creating a fud or baseless prediction. And when you check their roadmap, you will be directed to Bitcoin Cash roadmap.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: December 01, 2020, 08:38:26 PM
Im a bit confused and disappointed with Ethereum today. Ive read on cointelegraph that 2.0 was finally released today at 12 pm, but I see no major breakthrough. Price is still around 600$, people are not turning crazy of fees. So what we have waited for so long? Just a staking program with some improvements in blockchain?

I do agree that even with their Eth 2.0 Beacon Chain goes live, seems that it has no impact yet on their market price. But maybe, we need to wait a lil bit more time to see its influence in the market. Maybe people are not realizing yet about the significance of this event with Eth developments.
