1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊[Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: November 23, 2020, 10:51:29 PM
5 more days...

34 years ago on November 22, 1986, Mike Tyson become youngest ever boxing heavyweight champion!
At age of 54 he is preparing to fight again this weekend in few days.
His latest short interview with Steve Bunce: https://youtu.be/iGJ5tm4uM7c

This is really a history in the making. Excited to watch this match also. We will see another legend come to life in the boxing ring again. Wonder if they can still attract big audience and bettors for this fight. The gap of odds are not so wide but all are favouring for Tyson to win this fight. Can he deliver? Let's watch...
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who the Defi future of Cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2020, 09:50:24 PM
A lot of people say praising the temporary hype and it can't last long. I don't know what to do. I am already reading several posts in blogs and mediums But I couldn't find anything about Defi's future.
Invest in other stronger crypto projects. It's the reality about defi's future that it is only a temporary hype for these types of projects. If you lurk in the news, you'll see defi projects that are starting to have an exit scam. And that's possible to happen in other defi projects that you have invested in yet you are not familiar with. Why not give your time and investment to bitcoin? you have the biggest advantage of investing in it. It's proven to last long and it's here to stay.

The problem with DeFi platform - can they really attract users of their platform? Will there be enough borrowers for the lenders to earn income? Not many people are comfortable dealing their financial transactions via DeFi platform. So I am not seeing that this will really take off for most DeFis. Maybe, few of them can have successful platform but most of them will go down very soon. About their future? Hard to speculate this early.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rumours that Bitcoin was created in Russia on: November 22, 2020, 09:14:28 PM
Just have read all the details pointed out in the article but whenever I read Nazarov who mistakenly said he was involved with crypto for almost 10 years, it sounds a like to blatant lie to me.
Either way, although I don't know how much true the proofs are, I guess many things can be a coincidence and thus, this never makes this guy satoshi.

Everybody Now talking about this its all over the internet.
There is got be something why its started.

I just Hope Putin and nazarov will push Bitcoin  to  300k+.
So I can sell with at least 100k+  im here for the money as Everybody else.

Of course who wouldn't love to see bitcoin = $300k and we all be millionaires, but I don't think that Putin or Nazarov can do that alone, it will take a lot of money to pour to the market  to reach that price. And everything coming from Russia with regards to crypto should be taken with a grain of salt.

And Nazarov being Satoshi? Nah, this is just another conspiracy theories around the internet. The riddle of Satoshi can't be solved. Unless someone comes forward and signs a message

https://bitcointalk.org/Satoshi_Nakamoto.asc

I also believe that this is just a rumour and a conspiracy theory. Up until now, no solid evidence is gathered to pinpoint who satoshi is. And I believe it will stay that way for long, unless in the future somebody will uncover the things of the real satoshi.  For now, it doesn't matter where btc was created. Let us all enjoy his creation and don't be bothered who he really is.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ChainLink - Sell or Hold for some more time? on: November 22, 2020, 07:26:44 PM
Once the altseason starts everything will go up and chainlink will be the top on list of the biggest gainers once it happened, and i guess chainlink will be on the top 3 on coinmarket when it comes to market cap.
Top 3? Are you serious about this? Do you think that link has a chance to surpass either bitcoin, ethereum or ripple? Look, I understand that people are excited about this project, it has several good things and characteristics, but that is really difficult, even the closest coin has four times the market cap of link and it has been on the market for a very long time and unless something extraordinarily happens I cannot see how link is going to surpass any of those coins.

I guess, just be conservative with estimations here. I also don't think that it will surpass btc or eth, but chainlink is much better than most of the defi platforms that are introduced lately. It is one of the solid DeFi platforms that you can find in the market. Since defi market is full of trash tokens, this one is somewhat leading the pack. Now, it depends on the chainllink team how they will progress in terms of their development. If they can gain more users, I believe they are heading to be one of the good defi platforms worth following.
1205  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚡LIGHTNING-ROULETTE.COM⚡ NO ACCOUNTS | INSTANT WITHDRAWS | PROVABLY FAIR | on: November 21, 2020, 11:52:59 PM
Why not give free satoshis on your site for some players to test the game? Some players want to have faucet within the site. This may start their journey being a regular on your site. Me, not really a LN user but let me see how I can use this network to its advantage?
1206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: List of Defi scams on: November 21, 2020, 11:15:00 PM
Axion Network exploited, attacker, drained $0.6M. The attacker got 79B AXN with stake/unstake exploit. Then he moved 79B to Uniswap taking all the liquidity. TornadoCash was used as an anonymizer. Axion was audited by Hacken and Certik.
-

they are scammers. I mean admins of AXION telegram chat https://t.me/axionofficial  . they scam my wallet. I think they have stole all community money also. there was no any hacker.

If the OP will update his list, I am certain the list will be long. We will be seeing more of DeFi projects in disappearing act once they drained money from their naive buyers. The concept of DeFi is good, but only if they are deployed properly with honest team behind. Otherwise, this is just another hype that will go down in crypto history.
1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 21, 2020, 08:52:32 PM
In general yes, gamblers have to lose more money than win to support the business.

The business uses electricity, pays taxes, pays employee wages, damaged machines and tables need to be replaced and of course they have to earn some money on top of the expenses for it to make sense.

If 10 gamblers would come in and 5 would win and 5 would lose the same money, there would be nothing left for the casino.
There always have to be at least 1 loser more compared to the number of winners for it to work.

And that is why house edge comes in the picture. They need to sustain the business so one way to have profits is by having house edge from their end. Doubt if a certain casino is offering 0% HE, they may have loopholes in the system. Also in gambling, you very well know that once you get inside the casino, the money in your pocket may totally wipe out once you get outside.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 4% return - compounded DAILY on: November 21, 2020, 07:35:54 PM
Well, it is an annual interest rate being compounded on a daily basis which will make it 0.0109% that you will earn as the interest every day or at least $20 and some cents on a daily basis which is too low if you are aiming for a better profit on your bitcoins, -- rather you might as well do tradings which could give you the chance to earn higher profit. However, if you are afraid of the risk in trading a 4% annual interest rate to be compounded on a daily basis is not bad at all but you still need to do some research and background checking before you decide to deposit your bitcoin just for security and not to be scammed.
There are more investment companies that can offer more than 4% annual interest like in my country were mobile banks apps  offers this interest if you add or create account in one of their feature saving accounts. Though every investment have a risky it will depend on how long we will be able to wait or how we will gonna search throughly to find the one that will suits our interest best. But if we already know how to trade then better trade to make it gain depending on our skills.

The offering of freebitco is favourable to those regular players on their site. If they are holding funds on that site, then better earn interest as well right? So this is the reason why I believe they are not competing with other sites offering more competitive annual interest because they are not really into this business. Take it as added bonus if you are a regular on their site.

And it seems that it will be long before the OP locked this as he is not online for about a week.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: November 21, 2020, 06:40:56 PM
Nope I don't verify every bets as a gambler I just enjoy every round as much as I could.
Besides I only play on trusted and well known gambling sites I don't want to play on new sites that doesn't have much info or player.

I only verify one or 2 bets in new casinos. But if I am playing with known casino here, I don't usually check the provably fairness because in my mind, if they are screwing players, then it should have been exposed already by veteran players. But in any case, this thread is very useful to gamblers if they want to check the validity of the provably fairness system of the casino. I'll be bookmarking this topic on my end. Thanks much!
1210  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should I use mixers? on: November 20, 2020, 11:17:51 PM
~snip~
That is a good question and I have also heard accounts getting flagged after coming from some mixing pools.
^ This what I am afraid for. I have not used a mixer service as well since I have no issue on my previous exchanges and on my gambling activities so it can only be a waste of time and another risk that you will take if you use one. In fact, many investors still didn't use it or have just tried it for once but for convenience and security I prefer not to use it anymore. Nevertheless, if you think it will make you more comfortable and secure you may still use a mixer it always depends on our preferences.

If you really have no strong reason why you want to use mixer, better not to. Because somewhere along the way, you won't know if the exchange site you will be using in your future transactions will flag down your tx owed to being tied up with mixer. So avoid potential problem, why not avoid it in the first place? If you are worried about your privacy, there are exchanges that have no KYC like BNB or Kucoin, if you are dealing with lower amt of btc daily. Why not take advantage of those top exchanges that don't require KYC instead of using mixers?
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple and Bitcoin on: November 20, 2020, 09:54:06 PM
Ripple is centralized and has no capacity to replace Bitcoin, maybe in the future the real use cases of the XRP network will be demanded more than BTC. The top altcoins have the potential to replace each other except Bitcoin. The total marketcap of Bitcoin as the digital gold can not be replaced for the next 100 years, IMHO.

That's why the Ripple CEO admitted that there's no way they are competing with bitcoin. But in the payment sector, I like XRP as they have relatively cheap fees with faster transaction. If they can focus their collaboration with more institutions/shops/merchants, XRP will make a good alternative payment option.
1212  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔮 Futuur - Predict the Future! 🔮 on: November 20, 2020, 08:09:53 PM
The question that rises with this type online service is determining popularity of people's predictions. It can become a platform like instagram: some influencers have lots of subscribers, and operate with totally different commumity than those having imst just for social media to share things with their friends. So, as we all know, the inst popularity is really a tough work of thousands IT and media studios. So if successful, this project will experience the conflicts of different predictions and surveys in their temptation to become more and more popular, in order to raise stakes more and more.

Marketing is really important in spreading their services to the public. Based from their google play installs, they already have about 50k+ installs already.. Not bad for relatively new prediction app, not counting those who installed via app store. Also, they need to always have fresh items where they can get the interest of people from all walks of life. They should find ways on how to sustain the interest of their users.
1213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO may hit as low as $0.07 on: November 19, 2020, 11:12:37 PM
NEO may hit as low as $0.07

Looks like NEO may hit as low as $0.07 just like ARK coin. Time to sell NEO to get out of this market.

I opened this post expecting an in-depth analysis of the fundamentals and flaws of NEO. Failing that I at least expected an opinion piece including many hurdles it may face or similarities to other coins that have gone this way. Seems very much like OP hasn't "got rich quick" with NEO so is slamming it, either that or it's a troll and I'm missing the joke.

As others have said anything can happen but in the current market a project with strong fundamentals a large community and an active team really shouldn't worry about a total collapse. If you exclude the end of 2017 and the beginning of 2018, where we know the market went a little crazy, neither coin has seen huge moves both just moving steadily. I really would love to be enlightened somewhat here as the more I think the more I fear, I'm the wrong side of a joke.  Huh

Seems that the OP is just joking or trolling here. That price level is very very far from happening to NEO. With the current price of almost $16, going down to $0.07 is almost out of the question as the team as you said is active. Speculate that it will go down hard if you know the team is about to abandon the platform, but with NEO, I don't think it will be happening anytime soon.
1214  Economy / Economics / Re: Still confused why bitcoin is so bullish? on: November 19, 2020, 08:29:01 PM
I think you and I may not care about paypal but there are tons of people who do, I am not saying this pump was created by paypal, but all I am saying is this is not as unimportant as you might think neither.

There are 300+ million people who use paypal, let's say some of them already buys and sells crypto, and there are few who do not want to get involved with crypto anyway neither, but you can't deny the fact that there must be "some" people who wouldn't go into crypto but did get into it when paypal started, that is why I believe it is highly important that paypal is acknowledged that they are doing something good for the crypto community. Once again I am not saying they are the cause of it, but they are certainly not a null point neither, they did played a bit of a role here.

Actually, this announcement from paypal did help those noncrypto users who were having second thoughts with btc or crypto in accepting the fact that btc/crypto is not a fraud. Let's admit it, a lot of noncrypto users are still thinking that btc is used for illegal things. But when PayPal announced the inclusion of crypto in their system, I believe most of them change their mindset towards crypto and search for it as this famous platform starts to deal with crypto. I'm gonna say, they do have contribution in gaining the trust of noncrypto users to crypto.

Bitcoin Price and Trading Report: November 19th

Risk traded lower overnight with USD down and gold looking underwhelming going into the end of 2020. BTC is still holding up as-is.

Why not update the OP itself? But I saw you have different account name. Are you the same person who posted this thread?

Or simply post this link to your OP -

At least, at a glance we know where to read all your articles published for this update.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Will List Frontier (FRONT) in the Innovation Zone on: November 18, 2020, 10:25:58 PM
The Binance listing for $FRONT spiked massive uptrend, I bought some earlier on OKEX but later converted all my funds to USDT after OKEX withdrawal issue. Congrats to those who bought in earlier and are in profit. Patience is required most times when holding coins, but as humans our emotions or other contingencies play out and we sell too early.

Patience will not paid off if you happen to invest in a wrong token or coin. Even if it is listed in top exchange, in which, they have no participation in the actual development of the project, the success is still on the dev's side. Better evaluate also if the project has the capability to make their objectives a reality. Otherwise, you need to move on before it is too late and be left as bag holder of worthless tokens.
1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITRUN - PREDICT THE PRICE OF BITCOIN AND WIN BITCOIN on: November 18, 2020, 08:57:54 PM
I don't really see the point of betting on the value of the bitcoin. Then you can even better just keep the bitcoin yourself if you think it will become worth a lot.

To me this type of game is more difficult and challenging to win. While it is exhilarating to find out within 1 min if you were right or not from my point of view a better approach for me would be predicting its direction.

One other thing that surprised me was that I didn't find any info about where the BTC/USDT value is taken from? Making this clear will help people to better extrapolate.

I have the notion that you will also get the same feeling when you are playing with crash. The blood rush when you are about to see what's gonna be the result at the end of each game.

The dev answered based on Coinbase, Bitstamp and Kraken. So I am assuming, it is the average of this 3?

Calculation of BTC/USD price - as you point out, it is based on Coinbase, Bitstamp and Kraken.

1218  Other / Off-topic / Re: in what business would you invest ? on: November 17, 2020, 11:59:54 PM
On my end, you can never go wrong investing in food companies as people always need to eat. But with Tesla, a lot of people can live their lives without Tesla. Even during this pandemic, a lot of businesses are closed and yet, many food deliveries are still open. So I'll go for McDonalds and other fast food chains. Coca Cola may be regarded as luxury during pandemic but you can get a water refilling business instead. This is also open even during crisis. People need to drink and eat no matter what situation they are in. So you can think of businesses around these industries.
1219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][NFT][GAMING] Rocket Adventure Capitalist - Decentralized Incremental Game on: November 16, 2020, 10:22:48 PM
this is a kind of gaming project ritgh ?
personally i can't wait to read the whitepaper and see who is people behind this project
hope we will see it in the near time

The question is, are they going to disclose their team members. Most decentralized gaming platforms are not disclosing their identities but let's wait and see. Online gaming is booming these pandemic days, so if they can create their own niche in this industry, they will generate good profits. But they need to attract players first so let's wait what offering they will give to gamers here.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Gang uses crypto for illegal purposes on: November 15, 2020, 11:38:31 PM
In my opinion, the Chinese government controls its population too tightly, therefore many Chinese people are more comfortable developing
businesses outside of China. Then regarding the gambling gang that uses cryptocurrency to send money abroad, it is considered to be carrying
out illegal activities. That's because China has long considered gambling illegal. Therefore, if Chinese people want to play gambling, they should
go to Macau. But what I wonder why the Chinese government blames online casinos if they find people from China who are involved in online
gambling, even though online casinos should not be held accountable.

They should legalized gambling because there are actually high number of Chinese gamblers. So they can get money from them instead of giving the income outside of their country. They should not blame online casinos as they are just doing their business. If they are more practical on this industry, they will be reaping income from their own citizens.  There are so many casinos owned by Chinese outside their country because of their strict regulations. So it means, they are throwing their potential source of income.
