1241  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io Relaunch on: November 08, 2020, 10:49:24 PM
Watching if you can really come back to your business. As you said, you already have investors and you're not asking from anyone here. So maybe, just launch your casino and let's see from there. People will play on your site if they want to. So let's see how you can turn this negative trust to at least neutral in the coming months.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Philippines Allows Land-Based Casinos to Accept Bets Online on: November 07, 2020, 11:24:36 PM
I'm sorry guys, but I can't answers all your question, but here are my opinion.

(1) they will have a separate structure to accept online betting, and these are the following websites:

(2) I don't see them accepting crypto for now, but who knows

(3) It's going to be open for those who have an existing membership card

(4) Maybe we need to download some apps to be able to play

(5) They are doing some dry run to accept players already, like COD (City of Dreams)

-
(I'm a VIP member on COD)

I think this move will benefit you as you are already a VIP member on one of these casino sites. It will also give you opportunity to bet even at the comfort of your home, just to avoid potential covid infection. This will also encourage their regular members to play on their casino via online. At least, they are also earning money from them. Not really safe to mingle with other people even if you are following health and safety protocols.
1243  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is Bitcoin dumping right now? on: November 07, 2020, 09:02:01 PM
I will say some people are thinking the price of bitcoin is a little affected by the presidential election, but they are just fomo, I believe such people have collected their bitcoin already into fiat, while others still wait for the rally to go on, let us all still see bitcoin breaking $15000 again, and at that time which is very near, let us see it breaking $16000 as well.

It is just a correction as we saw it increased more than $15k. So usually, it will go back a lil bit. But yes, we will be seeing btc going up again. Just a typical up and down market movement. Nothing especial actually. If the US election results has impact, I guess very little. We will be seeing the $15k level again very soon. Nothing to worry about.
1244  Economy / Economics / Re: This is why bitcoin HAS to go up on: November 06, 2020, 11:19:04 PM
The demand and supply are the great factors that affect the price. Even we look at it in economics, prices are moving because of the demand and supply. The positive correlation of demand to the price makes bitcoin more aggressive. However, there is also a factor that affect the price in market, that is also the news. If there is a news that make bitcoin down or up, trend will follows.

Just like the news coming from PayPal, I believe there are noncrypto users that suddenly got their interest in crypto especially those PayPal users. As they have millions of users onboard, some of them will be converted into crypto users at some point. So yeah, aside from the supply and demand, developmental news has also impact in the crypto market. Think also those big institutional investors that are openly claiming to accumulate bitcoin. This will also increase the confidence to some users that bitcoin has good future ahead.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Negative House Edge Crypto Casino on: November 06, 2020, 10:38:23 AM
^ Playing in a negative house edge with Phreess or any token that has no value at all is like playing a kids game where if you will win you can just simply brag it to anyone because the prize that you can earn from winning has no use. Apparently, for people like me who finds gambling as entertainment, I can somehow try it as well besides I play and put bets on the amount which I can only afford to lose, and playing on this negative house edge using Phreess token I will not be afraid of getting lost since it is free and has no value for now. Nevertheless, winning on the negative house edge with a token is not bad at all for we cannot assume if Phreess will never gain any value in the future.

Don't say that it is free to play as you need to purchase phrees token in terms of btc or eth before you can play. Hope you didn't overlook how much they are selling their token at a price tag of 300 satoshis per phrees token. So you're not playing for free here. This is the reason why they have negative house edge, to attract gamblers to play on their site but in return they need to buy their tokens first.

1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What haven't most people not heard about that can help them make money? on: November 06, 2020, 05:27:07 AM
I think what seems like is happening that there are people in the know about some secret event or information that the public is not privy to. Perhaps if we did know than where those gains happen for some unknown altcoin, you would have bought it already. And you would also know before it getting dumped. how can I get in on this action?

No such thing as secret information. It's just that not all information will be known by you due to your activity limit as it's impossible you can't be always be updated at all happenings in the majority of those coins. There are coins that have a community so they are updated on some events on some coins and from there they can build speculation if will goes pump or dump.

Gaining profit in crypto is not as easy as 1,2,3 so erase the mindset that there's a thing called 100% prediction.

If by any means you become aggressive and really want to push for a service that provides signals, don't believe in those. Mostly, they are a scam.

Based from my experience, you can't really follow all the coins out there. There are only few of them worth following for. But in terms of new coins, if you do really want to follow them, to know when they will have specific pump, you need to keep close with their social media channels. You can get a hint of what's going on. But definitely, it will take so much of your time. So in effect, you can only follow which ones are really worth following for. That is, only those coins that you want to seriously invest with. Just join socmed channels that you have vested interest, others don't. It will only clutter your mind.
1248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Negative House Edge Crypto Casino on: November 04, 2020, 10:49:44 PM
Negative house edge? Did I read it correctly? What will be the gain or profit for casinos without a house edge? Probably, you only take a commission from winnings like few online casinos, only winners are charged for taking a more percentage from a winning pot. A further explanation will give an idea of what kind of house edge mechanics we discuss here.

If you will check why they are offering neg HE, is because they are selling their game tokens also. So to sell their tokens, they created a casino with negative HE to attract players. But they need to buy their tokens in order to play on their website. Not bad though. How they sell their tokens via using a negative HE casino.
1249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The right investment for cryptocurrency... on: November 02, 2020, 09:27:15 PM
For beginners who want to invest, I would say that they should first learn about it.
Learn and earn is better.
Just always put learning at the very beginning. What newbie investors do is getting onto an investment without proper research and knowledge. It's very important to have it first before going to the investments that you are interested with. This is a general application not just for cryptocurrency investments but for all investments. Start with knowing bitcoin then so on until you are aware which is the best crypto to invest with your money.

This is the reason why a lot of newbies will curse crypto if they lost because of the lack of knowledge with the situation. They thought they can attack the crypto investments without doing any research at all. Just like any investments, like in fiat, you always do your own assessment before jumping in. So with crypto. If you are really new, why not read first and get the necessary information to move forward. Don't rush yourself, because that will lead you to losing directions.
1250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANNOUNCEMENT]✅ P2P Cash | The new way of send money worldwide✅ on: November 02, 2020, 03:27:02 AM
I noticed there's too much drama in this thread. When I read the previous pages, it seemed I am reading a telenovela script.  Tongue But anyway, with the price movement in exchanges, I hope this project can still get back and achieve what they promised to do on this platform.
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Invest on: October 31, 2020, 11:39:30 PM
so many trusted exchanges are available But coinbase, binance, Poloniex, okex, bittrex Bitfinex are best exchanges. I treaded on all of those exchanges and successfully complete trade without any problem. Besides those have strong security than others exchanges.and there is no altcoin is better than eth.already increased a lot and going to increase more because of impact of defi projects & Ethereum update

For me, I'm at peace when my funds is with binance. I know that even if they are hacked, my funds are safe due to their SAFU, type of insurance dedicated for their users. Anyway, whenever you trade with these exchanges even with binance, make sure you get out your funds and send it to your own wallet. It is still better to have your own control with your coins.

In terms of best altcoin, I guess, I'll stick to btc and eth. DeFis are bit dangerous to put your money on.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [alpha] MahaDAO - The world's first decentralized valuecoin on: October 31, 2020, 10:33:37 PM
How are you going to ensure that you can keep its price stable as well as value in the market? That's actually very difficult to control once your coin is already out in the market. Can you explain your strategy how are you going to maintain your value even after traders are selling their coins?
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [(aims) 'AI Milestones' token] donate to the foundation AI tech of future on: October 31, 2020, 07:20:36 PM
~snip~ My project is life-long project though.
Are you serious? What a confident statement even without an appropriate introduction of the project. There is no clear information on how your project will be going (just token sale info which is useless), whats the value of this project which makes it will sustain for long terms?

Seems not. When you checked the website, powered by wordpress, nothing much to offer. Simple Q&A portion, not even bothering to use the free templates to present the project in a better way. So not gonna believe that this is developing something in AI tech. Hard to find something valuable here though.
1254  Economy / Economics / Re: Challenges to Fintech Adoption on: October 30, 2020, 10:35:22 PM
So this post is actually promoting the Tagion platform.  Wink  But in any case, fintech is really evolving, and adopting new technologies. If that particular technology will bring more benefits to the current system, then there's no reason for the business to explore new opportunities and make their services better than ever. We are not limited to what we have now. It is understandable that we will always find ways to improve the products and services catered to our customers.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is more important bitcoin or fiat? on: October 30, 2020, 11:14:14 AM
Why is there no stats with the OP's poll, if you try to vote on his options?

In the current situation, I still believe that fiat is more important than BTC in a day to day transactions of a normal citizen.

Well, this is also my opinion. Since we can't actually use bitcoin in our daily basis, our daily transactions, I don't think people would choose bitcoin over fiat. But in the case of an investment, I don't think people would choose fiat over bitcoin or other crypto currencies since we all know, it is better to save or hold crypto currencies than fiats.

Fiat is still the main currency of global population. Only small percentage up until now are crypto users. And those crypto users are also fiat users. Mainly, we still need to convert our crypto to fiat in order to spend it. Not many merchants are also accepting crypto. But I believe, adoption will grow, one contributor may be PayPal in the very near future. Since it is already available on this platform, merchants may think of adding crypto also in their shops. And so with the users also, at one point, they will think of trying to get involved with crypto as it is already on their reach.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LifetionCoin (LTP) on: October 30, 2020, 07:14:56 AM
The OP should purchase copper membership here -  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote . So they can post images and make better announcement. When I checked their official website, and watched the video about their business meeting, the team seems legit. Hard to make a fake video like that. So I think they can present this project in a more appealing way to the community.

But one thing that I noticed, the linkedin logo on their profile is not yet working. So I don't know if the one handling the site forgot to attached their respective linkedin profiles?
1257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥 [Public Sale][ANN] Lattice |DEX|Interoperability|Scalability|DeFi 🔥🔥 on: October 29, 2020, 11:41:33 PM
Big updates regarding the Public sale!   Smiley

Quote from: Lattice CEO Ben Jorgensen
-
does the IEO only run for 1 day?
because I see that it will be listed on Uniswap on the 6th, that means 1 day after the IEO is carried out on the 5th, and surely the MVP will be launched in the 12th month, right?
Lattice has many great partnerships, so it is very likely that the token sale will take place quickly, besides that the tokens sold in the public sale are only 2.8%, but the supply that will circulate on the first day of launch is 15%, I hope this is not a barrier to price growth in the market.
a large lockdown will definitely be a lot of factors to drive the price up, and the tokens purchased are not locked, surely it will require speed to participate in the IEO, if we are late we will lose a valuable opportunity right?

I am not really familiar with those exchanges but checking the Hoo exchange, it is Chinese. So the project wants to get Chinese audience here. But anyway, seems that this project has solid backing so I'm not worried about their intentions here. They know better what market to tap to deploy their platform. But wanted to check later on if this Lattice exchange will make noise in DEX community.
1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emirex delist their token after unlocking it what a joke on: October 29, 2020, 09:25:55 PM
This is scamming their bounty hunters, after 10 months they finally unlock their token EMRX, it is still trading when the token for bounty hunters are locked, but soon after they unlock it, they delist their token on their own exchange now, bounty hunters has no way to sell their token, they are very cunning and they want toi scam theirt bounty hunters, now the token is stuck on the platform with no way to sell.

It would be better discussed in the meta board. So that the Legend there can make decisions about the Emirex exchange. I see the Emirex exchange as having great potential for scams. So that crypto users can avoid this kind of exchange.

At least one of their bounty hunters should create a thread in the Scam Accusations board. Their move of delisting their token where hunters can exchange it, is really not very good sign. Are they about to exit? Somebody should tag them if the accusations are strong. So no traders or crypto users will send their funds on their exchange, as the likelihood of trapping your funds is very high.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the difference between stablecoins? on: October 28, 2020, 11:45:33 PM
in my opinion, the five stable coins that you mentioned have no difference, stable coins are like fiat,
but more secure and transparent, the difference is only in the smart contract platform.
USDT, DAI or USDC may look different, but they function the same.

It only varies on which network they are connected to but all are pegged to US$. So if you are trying to use any one of them, you need to be careful to which network they are connected with because wrong address and you will not recover your funds. Supposedly, they have backing of real assets, but don't know the absolute truth about their claims.
1260  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: October 28, 2020, 10:36:40 PM
I agree with you.
Trading it right now is better than holding it when you don't know if the market will be more better than this. Most professional trader just believe holding your coins is a sign of failure. Facing the challenge of the market right now is better than avoiding the market which you don't know when the market will suit to your taste. Many people miss their opportunity because they were still holding their coin for a long time hope the market will change for their good.

Trading brings more profits when you do not make mistakes, and it never lets you relaxing. Those, who trade should stay active all the time, and naturally, they have to follow the market news. Traders better know the market trends and they are more flexible.

This is only true for those experienced traders, but for new ones, they need to be very careful as they can lose their funds very easy. If you already know your strategies in day trading, you can really get good profits as compared to when you are just holding a specific coin for so long. You should know also the right coin to trade with, actually even bitcoin, you can get decent profits with intermittent trading, but you need to consider the fees involved so you are not in negative.
