Any reason for this rise?

Fuck these irrational markets. Bitstamp rises because MtGox rises. Then MtGox rises because Bitstamp rose. These two exchanges are jerking each other to the fucking moon.

Also keep in mind we went down 100's because of major panic since Gox disabled withdrawals. And now suddenly that's not important anymore it seems and we can go up again. Nothing makes sense really.
The market movement is based on a few manipulating whales and the other people are just pure panic buying and selling without a clue what they are doing. By now i'm pretty sure of this.

Gotta give Tera credit for calling the spike at $619.88 within 12 cents.

Yes I agree nice call.

If i predict random numbers every day i will be right once in a while as well. If he could do any better than just guessing he wouldn't be here. He would be on his yacht enjoying his millions.

Jesus. Nice to find out after 10 months or so haha. Thanks.

Mine is UNchecked but still get warning. Edit: oops, i see I need to check it.

Haha noob.

So it's clear Stamp continues to follow Gox with every move it makes. How sad is this. Nothing has changed. If Gox enables withdrawing again Everybody will continue to use them and Mark will manage to make Bitcoin crash again because the other exchanges will follow Gox going down.

People are rallying because of this?http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1ymb4r/some_light_on_the_horizon_for_gox/

Unbelievable, anything to get the party started.

Massive bull trap.

As always first panic and then they calm down to see why they paniced. In this case over a rumour and if it stays a rumour we'll simply go down again.
I think i said it before. This market is completely stupid.
2326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2014, 04:51:53 PM

Ah thanks.

What happened? Someone posted a rumour or something and this is the result?

49 cents down. Damn Tera, those sheep are gettin' slaughtered.
The trap has not finished yet. There is room on the chart for a false breakout to 600 (with maybe a flashspike to 620). The slaughter happens after this breakout fails only for people to find that not only are prices declining below 580 but that they are now trapped inside a giant triangle breakdown of 530 into the 400s.

It's so funny to read posts of bears who are frustrated their $400 bid didn't fill. And slightly silly.
Is it not possible to have an academic and scientific discussion on price trends here without constant harassment and suspicion into my whatever my personal position and agenda are? Honestly I don't care anymore whether I get filled in the 400s. Maybe I will end up having to buy in 500s (or maybe it'll end up being 300s). I would be happy to see bitcoin prices bottom out at whatever that price may be so that I can start using bitcoin as a store of value again rather than holding bitstampUSD, bitfinexUSD, btceUSD, disney dollars, etc. However, I'm not going to pretend like THIS is a good chart to buy into right now.

When is a good time to buy then? When it goes up you're gonna say right?

Tera is really becoming the 2nd fonzie

Looks like it. It seems to be getting worse. Poor guy.

Gox, the non functioning exchange is going up. Quick, panic buy on Stamp!
2333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2014, 07:09:11 AM
Let's panic sell on Stamp because a non functioning exchange goes down.

Looking good thus far...complete detachment?

Actually no, it doesn't look good. We're at 560 now. Every time there is a dip on Gox Bitstamp goes down 10 or 20 dollars and doesn't recover. Gox is taking Stamp down. It's that simple.
2334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 22, 2014, 06:59:13 AM
Case study: Ukraine currency just fell 10% vs the dollar in 3 months and it is expected to fall even further.
So almost overnight because of your government you lose 10% of your life savings. That is robbery and another reason why we need Bitcoin and it will succed.

Any comments on this news Jorge ?

Funny how all the banks are so busy writing statements about the dangers of using Bitcoin.

What exactly will it take for the people on Stamp to stop following Gox?
2336  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2014, 05:41:38 AM
So Gox is still leading the price. Can someone explain this to me. I realize most traders are pretty stupid, but THIS stupid.

bots

Yes so? There are humans controlling them.
2337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2014, 05:40:54 AM
Any news?

Insider getting ahead of the market?

My guess some people on Gox making good money, maybe new funds that arrived, and the idiots on Stamp following them going omg buuuuuy omg sell!!

Ah of course. All that selling on Stamp is done by wolves and not by idiots panicing because Gox going down. Yeah silly me, how did i not see that.

And who were the 'idiots' doing the selling before Gox was going down? More 'Sheep' I suppose.

Perhaps you are the idiot and the sheep? Afterall, you are the fkn clown who has lost more than half your net worth through holding your Bitcoin way too long after the top of the wildly over-extended market was in and are still holding, blaming 'the sheep' all the way down.

Be very worried by the way. This whole grind down has occurred almost without a single whale taking a dump. Just once, just after midnight (UK time). The 'support' at $540 clearly isn't happening. Gonna be some whales witnessing this and getting very nervous.

Lost half my net worth? Wtf are you talking about you idiot? You're going on ignore with the other idiots. Bye!
2340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 21, 2014, 02:30:49 AM
So now what? Knowing Mark this either will take weeks, months or will never be solved at all.
Will Stamp just keep on going on down or will the sheep at one point understand that selling on Stamp because of Gox is as stupid as it gets?

The sheep the sheep the sheep.

My friend, it is not the actions of 'the sheep' that you need to worry yourself about here but rather the actions of the wolves. Don't go deluding yourself that this is all about Gox either. Gox is just a symptom.

Now wake up and smell the coffee or just sit back saying 'the sheep' and take the losses coming your way,.

Ah of course. All that selling on Stamp is done by wolves and not by idiots panicing because Gox going down. Yeah silly me, how did i not see that.
