wow, nobody is buying at stamp.

wtf?
About 3K coins were just bought. You missed it.

yes, I can see that. but after that 3k buy nothing is really happening.

no panic buys, nothing.

Because everyone knows that if good news will come out tomorrow people will start dumping. With bad news even more. And with no news as well.
2262  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 26, 2014, 12:23:05 AM

1D ichimoku seems to indicate that if $625 is or has been broken during/after NEXT week, then the trend has reversed. 3D MACD would probably agree as well.

If your charts, lines, mac d's etc would actually be working you would be a billionaire by now. You still don't understand why you're not?
Wow I cannot even post a bullish TA now without getting flak?

FYI I have outperformed the bitcoin market by 10,000%, meaning if I bought and held I'd be up 400%in fiat value, but instead I'm up 40,000%. The problem was I started with a very small capital.

Funny how there is always a problem.

^ If this was bullish news the price would've gone up before the news became public.

Tweets are not news.  They are rumors.

Agree ... and we should not just follow every rumor that we hear ... or read..

As for now... price is upredictable as it was before

And the price seems very predictable. It has been going down for months.

Sure, but with any slightly negative rumour people dump like crazy.

Nice wall. 1 person wants Bitcoin to go down so down we go.

Who thinks the situation in Ukraine will spark something in the bitcoin price?

Do you think the Ukranians have the infrastructure to use bitcoin in times of war? I dont, I dont think it will be useful in war. However, there may be a few millionaires/billionaires in Ukraine or Russia that want to protect/hedge their fortunes. but why haven't they already done so?

Because it only has gone down over the last few months. That in combination with nothing but scams, hackers and crooks and no sane, rich person would put his money in Bitcoin. Not exactly rocket science.

In other developments:

the UN Security Council is to vote on Saturday on a US-drafted resolution that defines Crimea's referendum as illegal
US Vice-President Joe Biden will travel to Poland and Lithuania early next week to discuss ways to support Ukraine's sovereignty, as well as Nato    members' reciprocal defence commitments
The Pentagon says it will keep its aircraft carrier battle group in the Mediterranean Sea for several days longer than planned because of the Ukraine crisis
Russia has moved a column of army trucks and a number of artillery pieces into northern Crimea, eyewitnesses say
Ukrainian border guards begin checks on trains coming from Crimea into the rest of Ukraine

I can sense CCMF coming on Crimea situation, sunday night. If tensions keeps increasing, we might go to the moon sooner than most expect..

Yeah, i bet these people can't wait to buy Bitcoins. Or what exactly are you saying?
2269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 09, 2014, 05:50:22 AM
So we are still going down because Gox moved some coins and an idiot reporter pulled some facts out of her ass? That's all it takes?
Rough times ahead.
2270  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 08, 2014, 07:19:40 AM
News has a short term effect on price which snaps back to regular supply/demand levels within a matter of days or less.

Funny how you aren't all millionaires. I wonder why.

"Omg i have no idea what this all means but i'm gonna panic sell just in case".

bitstamp and other markets testing to 645 now, any important news or only testing with more volume than we used to in last week ?

Here it is:

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/japan-decides-bitcoin-is-not-a-currency-2014-03-07?link=MW_latest_news
Headline : "The Japanese government officially said Friday that it doesn’t consider bitcoin to be a currency and has no plans at present to regulate it as a financial product."

Thanks Solarstorm, it seems like its a news allowing to test the lower support indeed.

If it wasn't for the Gox stuff this would normally be bullish news. People in Bitcoin want to have their cake and eat it - no regulation or protection unless it happens to be convenient

The idiots don't care. They're too busy dumping because there might be dumping.

Which is resulting in panic selling. What a surprise.

Please tell me the selling going on now is not panic selling because of that article. It would take stupidity to a whole new level.

Stable price is not a good time for day traders, thats why I started to gamble and invest in all those ponzie schemes. Call me crazy but at the begining I lost a bit but I've made 1 BTC profit already. At the moment https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=474730.0 is the most stable and profitable ponzie and if I were you I would invest there, small amount just for fun.

Stop spamming!

Ok so the last hour i did some reading on random news sites and forums etc.
I've seen some hate against Bitcoin in the past but the stuff i read today! It looks like everybody who doesn't actually own any coins hates it! And not just hates it but is absolutely totally digusted by it! Like Bitcoin just killed their dog or something. I don't think i've seen such almost global hate and disgust towards something on the internet ever before.
People want to see it burn! They want to see Bitcoin and Bitcoin users burn in hell!
Oh and like most here already realized, many of those people think Gox = Bitcoin and Bitcoin just broke down. Bitcoin is bankrupt. And they LOVE it! They act like it's the best thing that ever happened on the internet.
The fact that 1 coin is worth 660 dollars doesn't mean anything it seems. Bitcoin is dead and WE ALL lost our money and totally deserved it.

I'm actually a bit shocked. I knew it was bad but this bad?

EVERYONE SELL SO I CAN GET SOME MORE Cheesy

Like how many more? 3? 5?

And why didn't you buy earlier?
2278  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 04, 2014, 05:26:18 AM
I'm a little grumpy I didn't buy more at 500 range now. Wasn't expecting this fast upward movement. Hopefully we will go down one last time so I can buy and if not hopefully new ATH

You want it to go down AGAIN? Just so you can buy low? Really? What is it with you people?
Stop being so greedy. You've had all the chance in the world to buy low but just like many people here you probably set your buy orders way too low because you really worried about paying 10 bucks more.
Now you missef the train and you want Bitcoin to go crash again just so you can buy your coins. Which of course wouldn't happen anyway since you once again will set your buy orders way too low.

Theres always that guy, and then theres always that guy stating that there that guy.

And then there is always this guy...

Its going down.

Yes. There is still way too much fear it seems. If there is no buying pressure for a few hours people will start dumping. There really seems to be this thing lately where people sell just in case there might be selling.
