Am i really the only one who is concerned that Bitcoin hasn't responded to ANY good news in MONTHS?
People dump every single time there is some bad news. Often it isn't even bad news but more like "i'm gonna panic sell in case it us bad news". We go lower and lower. Now we're at 570. There will be good news. Nobody will give a shit. They're all waiting for the next bad news so we can go lower again.
We would need to most amazing super positive news ever to stop this and i don't see this coming.
So give me one reason why we could go up again. I can't find any. I really can't.
Edit: how much longer will we be going down because of Gox. They are gone. Will it take us down for months to come? Can't people just get over it?

The recovery is maxed out for now. It's going to take at least a day to consolidate and break $520 if not longer.
The market is far from rational right now. I doubt this will be our last time going past $500 again. The fact that this recovery is occurring at super speed is shocking. We'll be sub $400 within days. We'll be testing $300 before we start meaningful sustained upwards movement again. Source? If this continues we'll be looking at Bitcoin a few months from now as 1 big failed experiment that got ruined by Mark, criminals, inside trading and manipulation. One big ponzi scheme.
The result of non regulation i guess. I wouldn't advise any of my friends anymore to invest in this clusterfuck.
The stuff that's being pulled here makes the real world big bankers and traders look like honest, nice people.
there was even harder times but Bitcoin survived, what is happening now is effecting the price, it may drop really low, some people will lose confidence and cash out and be done with bitcoin, these never believed in Bitcoin anyways, I saw people moving with their lives all the time, everyone has a price... but what is happening now is just the last clearing before Bitcoin goes mainstream, some people have to be pushed out, it will negatively effect the economy for a short term period but we need this to happen for the long term health of Bitcoin. so now you are testing your faith, even you stay or you go out, I can give you an advice, if you want to breath easily and if all of this is stressing you, try to sell some of your coins cash them out do something you wanted to do for so long, go to vacation.... and you will feel much better, I really found that helpful... I really don't know to do anymore. After this bullshit don't see how it will go mainstream anymore. It happens now and what stop it from happening again 6 months from now. Big money will keep using it as a tool to manipulate and crash the market. Over and over again. This won't just magically stop. |

Bitcoins not finished, but people paying + $600, are just clinging on to their dream in my opinion.. I might come back when BTC is back around $100. feel very sorry for those that brought and held at + $900 regulation issues legal issues technical issues community trust issues where would serious new investment come from under these conditions? Hahaha, the very same thing was said about the people that bought back in April 2013 at 266$. And they could realise some nice profit a few months later. Yeah do that, wait until bitcoin hits 100$ again, which never will be the case, and watch bitcoin climb to 2000$, 3000$, one day to 10000$, and maybe then you'll realize that you'd be waiting forever to get your cheap coins. The forum is littered with people who waited for a price that never came, sad thing is, lots of those people went away and didn't come back. Perhaps you should set a series of mental stop losses, so worst case as the price rises to $650, $700, $750 you part buy back in and take the hit. Otherwise history tells us there is a real danger you will just be waiting forever. Let the guy wait man. As long as he don't start trolling here every day out of pure frustration that the price us going up. We have enough of those already. He said he'd leave and i'm pretty sure he's manly and proud enough to actually leave. |
