1561  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Price 1200 USD Means - Bitcoin Mining Is Profitable, Even For Beginners on: April 26, 2017, 07:01:40 AM
It's still way to risky to try mining for Bitcoin...in my opinion at least. It will take a few months (at least) to try to earn back enough BTC to pay off the hardware. The big issue is that SO MUCH can happen in the crypto world that it becomes risky.

You're essentially better off buying BTC with whatever money you would have spent on mining hardware.

Again, in my opinion.

I respect opinions like this but realistically, any newbie can try and mine bitcoin without much risk (e.g. if they already own a decent GPU).

Besides, most if not all predictions/analysis/projections point towards the fact that bitcoin price is rising and will continue to rise. Where is all the negativity and skepticism coming from?
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit Confirms On Litecoin In 2 Weeks, LTC Could Hit $25 on: April 25, 2017, 09:03:56 AM
Why do you think adopting segwit = to the moon?
Mainly for the hype surrounding it I would imagine will increase the price as it usually always does in Crypto land, then after the hype if it does actually benefit litecoin then perhaps the price will increase.

I wouldn't say the moon though, not anytime soon perhaps up towards it's ATH but who knows.

Sounds like an easy trading opportunity. Wonder why everyone isn't buying LTC now.
1563  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Any way para mag cash out gamit ang BTC? on: April 24, 2017, 11:35:27 PM
San ba area niyo sir? Kung metro manila lang din gusto niyo meetup tayo tapos transfer niyo online at the same time bayaran ko na kayo cash (minus transaction fee hehe).
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / LTC is 74.86/75% to segwit but price is decreasing? on: April 24, 2017, 08:23:26 AM
LTC is so close to segwit, shouldn't LTC value be increasing? It's been on a downtrend for the past few hours.
1565  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is mining still profitable? on: April 24, 2017, 06:45:27 AM
Yes.

But it all boils down to power consumption. If power is cheap or you have solar panels i'd say go for it.

Even without ASICS, you can earn by selling GPU hasing power. Checkout nicehash.com.

Pretty interesting game. Surprised people from my country are already playing it.

1567  Economy / Services / Re: Android game on: April 21, 2017, 07:54:39 AM
Downloaded the game and am now level 2.

I hope OP makes good on his offer.
1568  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: anung way po para maparami ang bitcoins? on: April 21, 2017, 03:17:09 AM
TS, you can earn bitcoin by playing SUMOROLL, install mo from google play.
Nakaka-addict laruin, at the same time you will earn bitcoin.

Kung kaya kumita atleast 100ksats a day.

Ang pinaka-pinagmamalaki nila is yung security nila, never hacked. Saka bitstamp.net okay din, one of the oldest and trusted.

1571  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What framework to use for writing a live ticker website. on: April 20, 2017, 02:22:39 AM
What is your experience in web development?

Will the ticker be for your own personal consumption? If so, I believe the easiest (due to the vast number of resources and guides online) would be to use straight PHP. What you're trying to do is very specific and using a framework would only increase the learning curve and give you lots of functions and features that you would generally never use.

That being said, I would first look into how to use PHP and HTTPS and familiarize yourself with the API from which you want to collect data from (coindesk api, karken api, etc.). Try simply printing the values and refreshing them on a web page first. Then afterwards, look into PHPMAILER to send email automatically from your php page/app.

Hope this helps!

1575  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining Bitcoin from 0 on: April 19, 2017, 10:04:36 AM
If you have a relatively new GPU (year 2014+) you can first experience what its like to mine by selling hashing power to nicehash.com. Nicehash is very easy to use and get started with mining. You will technically be mining for them and they will be paying you in bitcoin.

But like the other replies say, your questions are pretty generic and theres lots of resources on this forum or through google search that can point you to exactly what you want. I suggest doing some research on your own first.
