AMD problems with DAG files has been an issue of the past. This has been discussed to death on these forums and others as well. A quick google search will find these discussion for you.
Basically, AMD released new drivers that fixed this, previously there were blockchain drivers that could be downloaded separately but now blockchain drivers are included in the regular AMD driver. What you need to do now is to switch from "graphics" mode to "compute" mode.

HI everyone.Im happy to be here.Just strted my new life on cryptos 1 month ago.Anyway i ve made some investiments,so id like your opinion and thoughts. I am looking for a long term investiment..but before i make my own research,id like to listen to your opinions. Thanks and good luck with your earnings.
Holding -BTC -TRX -IOTA -XRP
Pretty good picks except for TRX. Just do a quick search some reviews here about the TRX project, it seems its like its a bad nut. Personally, i'd swap it out for Ethereum instead. Its poised to grow to even maybe 2x or 3x within 2018. Also, there is an upcoming hard fork on Jan 19 you might want to join. Free money is good.

First response already nailed it in the head. Your USB media is no good. Have you tried recreating the USB installer? Based on my experience, simply downloading the win10 iso from Microsoft works. Then after that i use the "Rufus" app to select a USB device and make the ISO bootable. Sometimes the bootable media gets corrupted so i simply repeat the process and it will work fine again.
Been doing this for a few rigs over the last few months without fail.

These random tokens that suddenly appear in your ETH account address are what is usually distributed by automated airdrops. Basically the coin developers decided to promote their coin by sending what they call "airdrops." Airdrops are freely distributed tokens that are given based on specified criteria or bitcointalk endorsement. The number of tokens you receive on your account is can vary based on developer's rules.

Just got my asus mining expert today. Pretty sweet board for only $160. Was wondering if the following combination of GPUS would work on this board:
3 GTX 1060s 1 1080ti 6 RX 470s 3 RX Vegas Total GPUs: 13
Basically a mixed rig with both AMD and NVIDIA cards.

Awesome. Good quality videos and particularly interesting content for miners as usual. Thanks Vosk! I was actually hoping you'd do a video on the 1050 TIs. I might just build a 13-GPU rig with this for myself.
Would it be possible for you to constantly update this thread for any issues that may arise? I'm thinking the rig is new and issues may become more apparent as time passes.

Over time, that "black gum" glue thing will eventually peel off because of all the heat being generated by your mining rig. Like the previous poster said, its there to help keep you from accidentally shorting your rig. Even if you're not using metal frames just leave it on there because it adds protection to your riser. GPUs aren't that heavy but over time your bare risers pressing on anything hard will eventually either deform the surface its placed on or will break the riser pins at the botoom.

You actually don't even need to use Metamask or run your own ethereum node. You can simply use myetherwallet.com (just watch out for phishing attempts). I think you already know this but the speed of your ETH transaction will primarily depend on the gas price or "gwei" you spend for the transaction. Usually when I want a transaction sent fast I just immediately set gwei to 61. Gets confirmed in less than 5 mins for me.

Ordered 5 1070ti on Amazon 449$ each. Awesome price in today’s market EXCEPT they may never show up!
How long are you waiting for? I have the same situation. I asked Amazon, but there is no ETA. Weird. I on the other hand was told that the 1070 TI would arrive anytime within 1-2 months. When I asked for a more specific timeline they said anytime between Feb. 1-26. Considering worst case scenario, Feb. 26 which is more than a month from now is a long time in mining. You would have already earned much by picking another GPU available today and already mining with it.

Auto notify just isn't going to cut it in the fast paced GPU world. I happened to see a 1070ti available on Newegg about a week ago just because I happen to be browsing at work. i clicked order quickly and got it. About 20 minutes later my auto notify from Newegg showed up. I clicked it just for fun and it was sold out. Check every major place hourly and you may get lucky. Cant rely on auto notify anymore.
Yeah i see now auto-notify really wont be cutting it anymore so i'll be checking GPU stocks now regularly. I feel like i'm back to day trading. Is nowinstock.net really reliable in terms of getting immediate updates? Out of the 18 Nvidia cards that I've bought over the past three weeks, I feel like I've paid a fair price for them. $500 each on the 1070ti's and $820 each on the 1080ti's. And when I say fair price, I mean fair within the past couple of months. I may have overpaid on the 1080ti's ... Not sure yet. I haven't paid much attention to the prices on those lately.
Nice deals. At current rates I see the 1070 TI going for $799 and the 1080 TI going for $1200. Lol.

30 minutes? Try 30 seconds if you're lucky. Basically unless you are at the computer to click on the email link the moment you get it, login and go through chceckout, chances are you will be too late. I keep nowinstock.net open to monitor all the different websites and set off the alerts. It's usually faster than waiting for the email. Lol 30 seconds is too much. Hope you're kidding. No wonder prices are now almost triple of original value again. Nowinstock.net is nice. Thanks! On a side note, I imagine tech / computer stores make a lot of money now selling anything mining related. Do computer stores buy from brands like MSI directly or do they also get it from alibaba or some wholesale contacts? Maybe going into import/shipping is a better business opportunity now. Any tips? Haha.

Has anyone had luck with ordering GPUs online lately? I'm actually subscribed to the auto-notify feature of Newegg and Amazon and i'm always actively checking my email for restocking updates. The problem is even if i see the auto-notification within 30 minutes of receiving the email, when i click the link to the product its still always out-of-stock or unavailable.
Any tips? Do i need a bot/script just to watch for restock / buying GPUs?

High card prices only signal high demand and has no other impact on mining. People are still grabbing cards through bots, etc. There's nothing I can see right now that would indicate mining's coming to a close. 1060 3GBs can still be found around $220 occasionally.
235 is the cheapest I see now and they are sold out almost immediately and limited 1 per customer. This isn't high demand, its euphoria and like with the stock market and tulips, it usually doesn't end well. Its not even possible to get a decent ROI with card prices now. Why are you limiting your imagination to tulips? Take things with a grain of salt and don't believe everything you read. Cryptocurrencies are new and do not follow historical trends. No new innovation would have ever succeeded if people kept thinking "bubble." Tulips did nothing but be useless. GPUs will always have value not just for crpytocurrency and has many other uses outside of mining. Mining will not easily die simply because transactions (that are actually useful to many people) depend on it.

In comparison, my RX 470 also does 27-28 MH while mining Ethereum, all the while running at around 70-80 watts. Big difference right? Especially if you are mining in a country where electricity is not exactly cheap.
If you don't wanna jump in and buy more GPUs just yet, what you can do is to first disconnect those 7 HDDs and use just 1. HDDs also consume electricity and they could be contributing to your power consumption.

Yeah but what are you fighting for? Bitcoin mining is currently profitable not only in China but most other places in the world as well.
I would be more concerned about whether bitcoin mining will continue or be regulated in China.
This is also an altcoin mining sub forum btw.

Would it recover ? Because it's simply bigger than China also countries like India are also thinking of putting a ban!
In what world is South Korea bigger than China? Stop spreading FUD about things you know nothing about. If you are concerned about the monetary value of your investment then take some time actually reading the news, you would even end up protecting your investment in bitcoin. Only 5% of bitcoin is traded against Korean won. Everything is speculation right now and a large mouth and closed brain will not help the community.

Should I buy a Kingston HyperX FURY 8GB or Ballistix Sport LT 8GB or even a cheaper one ? Does it worth investing in kingstone/balistix ? I don't want to be cheap to pay twice or have a pain in the ass. Thanks
Get whatever is cheapest. You can even go for the 4GB RAM stick if you're only building a dedicated mining rig. From my experience, RAM manufacturers and brands are all the same. Never had an issue with a cheap brand. An argument some might make is that other RAM sticks are faster but in reality the difference is negligible when using real world apps. What GPUs do you plan on using? If not the RX VEGA, then RAM speed or brand should be the very least of you concern.

Given that you're already considering most of the NVIDIA GTX lineup, also consider looking into the 1050 TI. In my local cryptomining scene, where the 1060,1070,1080 are now rare or overpriced, people have now resorted to using 1050 TIs in sets of 13 GPU rigs. They do around 15 MH mining ETH and the 13 GPU rigs can do around 190-200 MH which is not bad once you consider the power consumption is low as well.
Has anyone here used 1050TIs as well?

And I thought everyone hated the mini's, because they have sleeve bearing fans? I personally don't know and don't own any. Just basing this comment on what I've read.
Yeah the sleeve fans and temps would be the other side of the argument probably. I'd actually like to hear what the mining veterans have to say about this. I think fan size or class or number doesn't matter when your GPU temps do fine anyway. Never heard of anyone breaking their GPU because they ran their fan speed a bit higher than normal (which is all you need to do with "mini" GPUs, i think).

To further support what mining legends philima and quintleo said, the 1080ti mini is a great mining card if you can still find it at normal prices (which should be at around $700-800). So good luck hunting.
Just to add, i've noticed that "MINI" cards are usually better for mining as they draw less power compared to full-sized cards. They hash at almost the same rate anyway so mini is always better for mining.
