Has anyone gotten the Afterburner 4.4.4 beta version to work with the blockchain driver? I find that wattman to be a pain when tweaking OC settings because crashes always reset all the settings for each and all GPUs. Any advise will be appreciated.

Last time I sold the BCH too cheap because of all the FUD around it.
I thought BCH would crash right away, but it rose to allmost 0.5 BTC.
Woah! That escalated quickly. As far as I know BCH never reached 0.5 BTC. Do you have source for this? If what you say is true, i may be interested in BCH. |

Ive actually done it for you and based on statistics it still says: NO. Even with the recent price surge, ETH is still more profitable to mine than XMR.

Hi, ive tried to backread this thread and search the website but cant seem to find answers to 2 simple questions about SMOS.
1. Is it easy to undervolt / overclock my cards using this OS?
2. Will i be able to use NVIDIA and AMD cards in the same rig?

The things people buy into these days..
Deflationary gambling tokens? AI tokens? Everything is being packaged as an ICO and sold unwittingly to the masses.
Once these projects fail it will affect ETH and even BTC value, scary.

ETH is far ahead of Waves. Not very many people trust or even know what waves is. On the other hand, ETH is already the foundation of many other ICOs and is known by most. What value does a coin (waves) have it it is not used? If you want a stable coin, Ethereum is the way to go.

Seems pretty sketchy. I've been reading their whitepaper on their website ( https://www.ethereumplus.org). Just 3 people with an idea, 2 of which are relatives. No real known funders or backers. Do they even have someone who can code? |

In order, and just now :
GTX 1050Ti 4 GB 1 fan (cheaper),
GTX 1070 8 GB 2 fans but only 1 6+2 pins (less power consumption in VGA BIOS settinfs),
... and soon : nVidia Volta (AMD VEGA is pure shit)
What is your choice, my friend :-).
I had to settle for the 1050ti. Couldn't find anything else or couldn't get more than one. Its not bad for the price if you can catch it on Amazon for 150. Im a slowly build a 2nd rig and deciding between 1070 and 1060 6gb as they become available. Dont get 1050TIs. You will need more motherboards, ssds, etc just to make them all run. In the end, you spend more time and money on equipment which only prolongs ROI/profit. Better to just spend an extra $50-100 on more overpriced cards. |

Im in the same boat as most. I sometimes lose a lot of value in fiat because of alts but also gain a lot of value in fiat because of alts. What i tell myself to feel better is that AT LEAST i gave myself the opportunity to get rich. If one of those alts i had exploded i would have been a millionaire.  |

Best Rate was Power Limit to -40%, GPU Clock to 1550, MEM 1100; 30.9mh @ 245w total system (135w) for RX Vega ...yes, 135w power usage, not 300+
Nice job, i appreciate your report. Sad news for vega tho. Those results are nothing better than a gtx 1070 that released like what, a year ago? And you get that on a 1070 without much configuration of OC settings. |

Only invest what you can afford to lose. If you cant even afford to buy your own rig dont do it.
Ethereum is slowly entering "ice age" territory meaning mining is becoming more difficult everyday. This also affects other GPU mineable coins.
IMHO, too much risk to start altcoin mining right now.

FYI, those 70m coins were ethereum's ICO. They were sold to the public, not hoarded by Vitalik.

This was a hard question i have struggled to deal with myself.
But after some thinking, I sold my LTC and kept my ETH. I did so because LTC was mostly known for activating segwit and now that BTC has segwit, what advantage do they have? Not much. When people realize this i feel like its scary times ahead for LTC.

The best thing about 1080ti is density. You got 1 card, 1 riser set, 2 power supply per 6xrig (or server psu) and you're getting 2 full 1070 rigs with cost of 1 MOBO, 1 CPU ,1 RAM , 1 HDD and 1 OS.
One 1080ti rig will never be 2 full 1070 rigs, especially if you are mining ETH. Its ~36MH per 1080ti and ~30MH per 1070. So thats more or less like 1 1080ti rig = 1.2 1070 rig (36/30=1.2). It actually depends on the scale of mining you want to do. 1070s will ROI faster if you just plan on mining at home. |
