If they change the hashed seed, than hashing it again to verify will return a different result than what the server gave you, so you know they cheated.
Most verifiers check to make sure that the legit hash was used.
How do the verifiers check the legit/original hash was used? The hash is provided by the gambling service. They can just issue you a fake hash and provide you with a fake solution and you will never know right?

If they show the hashed seed before you bet, and the process using the server seed (provided afterward) and your client seed results in the output along with their server seed hashing into the hashed seed then it's perfectly verifiable.
Suppose my server seed is X and the result of it and your client seed would be tails (in a head/tails game).
I then hash the seed with SHA-256 and show it to you publicly. After you bet I reveal the server seed and boom: you can verify everything since I can't lie about the hash.
Please correct me if I have made an error in any way.
You are correct, but my point is that: is the "hashed seed" they show you, really the seed used to run the game? for example they can just generate a random hash seed (asdbfj891y23basd) and display it on their website but then actually, their game will use a different hash seed (138sdf71982789zcxz). then when you lose, they will of course show you the server seed which solves your seed. but in reality it is totally different.

Yes, gambling sites provide us with server seeds that can be verified.
But how do we really know that these seeds are used in actual gambling process?
Isnt it possible they are just displaying server seeds and hashes that we can verify but in reality the server seeds they are using in the back-end functions of the game are actually different/rigged?

It's physically impossible to have unlimited electricity. Find out the amperage rating of the circuits/panel and subtract a 20% margin. That's how much you have to work with.
I believe the OP is referring to the cost of electricity. In his case, he has an opportunity to pay a fixed cost for unmetered electricity use which essentially means PROFIT for mining.

Who do you think enterprise is going to trust (a decentralized, Asian based crypto-community).
Still on-topic, what is wrong with having an Asian based company / community? I have a feeling your bias is quite uncalled for.

Fees are the way exchanges earn money. I would not risk investing on exchanges that have none or very low fees because they may be scams.
I would suggest trading on poloniex since its the biggest and probably safest.
Anyway, could you clarify what your chart is for?

I'd still say GO! Its a no brainer.
If you want to be safe, invest first in GPU mining. Its easy to sell those off in the VERY UNLIKELY case the crypto world tanks. Otherwise, a few months ROI is not bad. Id go for it with free electricity.

Wow thats a big return. I checked your link and it the TBC exchange site itself looks sketchy.
Try withdrawing the amount first. Its still a joke until you have it in your own wallet.

I believe only poloniex is the versatile provider here. It covers altcoin trading+lending+margin trading.
Bittrex has margin trading but no lending facility. Margin trading is available only to top verified account holders.
Kraken, cex.io, huobi are having margin trading for fiat based trading. Yet no lending possible.
Bitfinex is another leader but in bitcoin trading. They offer both lending and margin trading.
(I guess this topic leads to a useful service discussion topic of listing out exchanges and it's services in margin trading/lending.)
I'd second poloniex. Its really simple to use from experience they allow you to loan 2x of the amount that you currently have. User guides are directly available on their website. Although there are some times that poloniex lags, it should only be temporary as they are in the process of upgrading their servers. Or so they say.

There have been lots of suggestions on where to place your $50 but most are general so i'll concretely suggest placing your investment into an exchange and trade it for an altcoin with growth potential, specifically, I would suggest investing in Litecoin (LTC). This is just my opinion but do your own research and you should see the potential of LTC. Its a better version of bitcoin that will soon be integrated with newer technologies such as smart contracts, lightning network, etc.
Just do more research on LTC and you will see its potential. It is currently pretty undervalued.
Good luck!

Watch out. OP is a suspected scammer/hacker. See his other thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1919284.0Seems like he did something illegal and is now asking people to login to his account so that it appears he was hacked. Sadly, he can't get anyone to login so hes now considering his possible jail time. I doubt that he will even pay the bounty on this thread or his other. Don't waste your time and security on him.

There are lots of calculators online that will estimate GPU profit for you. Heres one: https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calcBut if you're looking for personal experience/input, i'll second the RX470 4GB. I would suggest you RX470 4GB instead of RX480 8GB
It seems to be the most profitable atm because of it's hash-rate/power-consumption ratio. Its low power but chugs out almost the same hash rate as an RX480.

Love nicehash and how its so easy to use.
However, is there a way to view payout history? On my miner page i can see previous week's payout. Is there a way to view historical payout beyond the past week?
