Earth is a big roulette wheel^^^. Von Daniken wrote Chariots of the Gods. Graham Hancock wrote Fingerprints of the Gods. Now we have "Roulette Wheel of the Gods." No wonder so many people think life is a big gamble.

No wonder so many people think life is a big gamble. "Picture the Earth as a giant roulette wheel: its populace looses brain cells each circular solar day but makes it up with volume."

Yes, I'm not a Flat-Earther, but at least I'm opened to the discussion. I'm taken aback to see that flat-earthers are quick to ignore and label fence setters as clowns. Do they also kick guest in the balls if they hold a fork incorrectly at the host's dinner table?

Am I doing this right ? Yep Strange strategy from the flat earth zealots in this thread. An utter failure to use critical thinking followed up with increasingly perverse insults. Perhaps we are all just being trolled? I am not really surprised about the existence of a flat earth religion. Flat earth is an ancient misconception and humans have believed in far crazier things. However, I am quite surprised to see it here. Bitcoin usually tends to attract a more intelligent crowd.

That's akin to BobLawblaw demonstrating his magic gyroscopic physics to the world. In order to save the spinning ball he has to say that small gyroscopes don't exhibit the property of rigidity in space. Go on, call me dunce again you fucking retard! edit: This also reminds me of BADecker who I forced into arguing that a day is actually 23 hours and 56 minuets long in order to save the spinning ball. "time to buy a watch, that's what time it is!"

You can measure the rotation of the earth with a small gyroscope. It is just not easy you have to take great care to eliminate all sources of error you also need a setup that is accurate. These folks from a university in Finland wrote up a nice paper on how to measure the Earth’s rotation rate using a low-cost MEMS Gyroscope small enough to fit on your desk. http://www.tkt.cs.tut.fi/research/nappo_files/Symposium_Gyro_Technology_2010_web.pdf

It is clear that the flat earth religion has a great imagination. It sounds fun. I have nothing against imagination.
