What in the hell is going on with all the creepy clowns? Because hoax doesn't explain this. It's being hyped too much. I'm obviously speculating in this video, but none of the other explanations I've heard make as much sense to me…

The moon is moving fast, but it's very far away. Just like if you get on a plane, if you record something that's far away, it doesn't look like it's moving that fast, but if you zoom in say 1000x on fix camera, lets say on a street with people, each person is going to zoom by extremely fast. Because that's how it would look going at that speed at that distance.

The great thing about math and science is that it works together. we know the size of the moon, we know the size of earth, we know the distance between, we know how fast the moon rotates around earth, and we know have fast the earth rotates around the sun. thus we can calculate exactly where any point of the moon is at any given moment. and this information has been documented so anyone can test it. NASA openly gives out this information. and before you say that the information is just false, they encourage others to preform the experiment, and i have. aslong with my colleagues at the local university. we went to an observatory, got funding for all the equipment needed, and preformed it. and got accurate results. PROVING that earth is round. the moon is round. man landed on the moon, gravity is a reality, and orbit is fact. if you do not believe me GOT TEST IT YOURSELF.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.  Among most conspiracy theorists, providing evidence contrary to their beliefs will only make their beliefs stronger, and this is usually proportional to how good the counter-evidence is.  If it doesn't make them think the first time, it likely never will.

That being said, they're already paying for their mindset in real life, and how much they pay is proportional to both the time spent and how public they are with it (e.g. are they just sharing their beliefs anonymously, or are they sharing them with friends, family, coworkers, etc.?).  The more they dive into the conspiracy, the more it will take a toll on their social success, financial success, and overall life satisfaction.
