The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

With most all crypto selling off sharply peercoin is good place put your money I don't know where the price of btc will be 6 too 12 months from now but I'm pretty confident that peercoin will get back too the top 50' on coinmarket cap and maybe even the top 25. It's number 180 now

I would like to follow up when cold minting will be implemented? There are many coins going onto Ledger wallets and it would be great to be able to stake from a Ledger. PPC will probably set the tone in this regard.

Really is a long-term project, the world's wealth is concentrated in the hands of a small number of people, from ancient times to the present, it is not very realistic to expect the PPC mechanism to break the millennium's fate.

Cold minting is planned for version 0.7 (~Q3 2018 according to the roadmap). "Cold minting" does, however, not mean that you can mint only with an "offline" device. Additionally you must own another wallet which is (ideally permanently) online to mint from there, but you do not need to expose your coins held in cold storage to attacks while you mint. You would sign the "connection" between both wallets/keys in advance, proving this way you own the coins in storage and are authorized to mint with them. Regarding the implementation, this path is being envisioned.

Delisting from the exchange with 75 BTC daily volume should not be a big problem for PPC.

I saw the bounty thread of your project but I can’t find the link to the white papper. Can you give me the link of the white paper? I need to read through the white paper to understand the project clearly

Sorry for the slight tangent. I was wondering how one actually generates a PoS block? Is the requirement just to leave your client running all the time? It is an interesting concept, good luck.
