Buyers that purchase firearms through private sales in the U.S. don't have to pass a background check before obtaining possession of the weapon. This includes sales to criminals, felons, and people with a history of severe mental illness. This should be monitored by the governement to prevent crimes and hostilities in using firearms.

Since Government isn't trustworthy enough to monitor private gun sales and purchases, why do you think that they want to prevent crimes and hostilities?

Get Government out of the picture, train all the people in using guns, and the people will get rid of the criminals. After all, government isn't doing it. And often Government is the criminals, themselves.

Now such a situation in the world and even in my own country because of trouble with one of the regions, and more because of the hostile actions of other countries, you want to feel protected. One shotgun in the house is really small, and I do not say anything about the gun. We need to legalize arms.

i think the use of guns have been abused in many countries especially in the US. It has become very easy to get a license or even purchase it in our local stores. you walk in the streets these days and you come across a young man holding a gun at you . I think Guns must be really controlled to avoid the issues we hear each day .

Thanks to gun control, all our 'ordinary people' are left with are torches and hayforks to defend themselves. I think that is laughable because when protecting ones property for example, a good shot of hail in the buttocks serves more than scaring away 1 intruder. They tend to stay away after.

Last year Obama signed a bill, which the social security Administration to integrate into the biographic checks of citizens in the purchase of weapons.

Thus, citizens who for different reasons cannot take care of themselves, deprived of the constitutional right to self-defence.

Under this category fall those who, because of illness or age may not independently engage in their finances. Such people in the US alone there are 4.2 million

Once services know that the citizens are unable to conduct their business come from social workers, to determine their mental health and then reported to the service biographical checks.

But in February 2017 this Intrusive and unconstitutional the norm of "care" of the citizens was abolished by a vote in the U.S. Congress, and the subsequent signing by the President of the United States on the 28th of last month.

Noteworthy is the reaction of the "democratic media", which stated that the President wants to give weapons to mentally ill people.

Legal weapons this is your chance to survive and to protect their property during the attack. I don't understand people who are willing to give up such a chance. Or are you pinning their hopes on the cops? Until they get the call you will no longer be alive.

A minimum of 15 minutes, the cops need to get to the place of the call, and during that time the offender can destroy a house tenants. Weapons people need.

I am extremely negative about the legalization of weapons and any opportunities for weapons on the streets. The number of scandals and fights speaks of bad manners and aggressiveness. It is necessary to properly educate children and the need for defense and weapons will fall away.

CONVERSION BARRELS FOR GLOCK PISTOLS

(Publisher: A friend was over yesterday while I was getting ready for our trip back east. Part of this preparation is the Safe storage of various firearms we have in the home. Those that will be house sitting will bring their own protection, so I can put my protection securely away. One of these tools is a Glock .40 that I purchased from a friend in need of money {which is how I get most of my firearms}. I was told something that I did not know that I thought you should all be aware of about one of the features of Glocks.
Here is my personal situation... I have reloading dies for at least 6 calibers. As part of our activism here in Phoenix, Az many of us learned the economics, law and skill of reloading ammunition. There have been several times that we invite people to come over and learn how to reload and to stock up on their target ammo {boxed ammo for stockpiling is still the better choice for those with the resources, but... having this skill provides more options}. When I got my first .40 caliber firearm I thought, 'Great... another caliber I got to worry about getting ammunition for'. Then the DHS and friends starting buying up gazillions of .40 cal. rounds. In an ideal situation we might think that eventually this is all going to be made available to the peasants as government surplus when the DHS 'stands down' from whatever they think they need that much ammo for (Hollow Point BTW Sad
It's common for me to have concealed (legal without a permit or ANYTHING else here in Arizona Smiley a 9mm KelTec that has a belt clip that can just slip in my Pocket/Clip to my Pocket/Clip to my Belt. It's the smallest gun I could buy that was still at least a 9mm. The handgun I perform the best with is my 9mm Beretta that I've had for well over a decade (but it's too large to carry around all the time). So every year or two I might put out the call that I'm going to be doing some reloading of 9mm and whatever and we'll have a group training class for those interested and we'll stock up on ammo when the supplies are available and everyone isn't in a panic and paying waaaaay too much for anything to do with ammo. But do I have to stock up now on all things .40 caliber now too?

Crime does not ever run out. I do not understand those people who believe that legal weapons should be banned. Or you do not understand anything in the subject or you bought opponents weapons.

Criminals will do whatever they want. And people who want to live by the law may be deprived of the right to protect themselves and their children. Most people are degraded and now it's scary to go out into the street.

The first amendment clearly states that everyone should be able to own guns. But i think not everyone should own a gun, You cant give a gun to a mentally challenged person and not expect disaster. They should make laws that makes criminal for anyone who's gun is used for to cause harm to another to be sentenced. You cant just buy a gun and leave it anywhere so that your kids talks it to school and kill happen. I also think people who buys guns who be mentally checked to see if their head is in the right place.

The BIG question is, if there is gun control, who controls the controllers? If police control guns among citizens, who enforces that the police do it right? And who makes sure that "right" is what is best? And what is best?

If all the people carried guns in public all the time, the whole mindset of the nation would be different. In populated areas, all people might want to learn special gun safety for the protection of all people. Police are just people. The difference is the training. If all people were police, we wouldn't need police, and crooks would be scared s**tless that everybody was police. There wouldn't be much if any crime.

The whole idea of gun control has to do with making slaves of average people. The slave owners are the wealthy who control the politicians in Government. Gun control is destruction of a free nation from within.

If the person is not capable then he is not entitled to vote. He even disposes of the property through a guardian. I also think that any person should have the right to arms if he is not mentally retarded.

The 1st Amendment says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

What does that have to do with owning guns?

In the first place, it talks about Congress making laws. It doesn't say anything about the States making their own laws. If a State makes a law about owning guns, you have to find where the State gets its authority to do so. If the State doesn't have the authority to do so, then you have to prosecute the people who infringe on your rights. A law doesn't mean anything if Government doesn't enforce it.
