I'm thinking to set up a kids play ground with all the bitcoin games. This will be divided in the different play groups according to age of kids. There we can keep different quiz which will be completely on blockchain technology and crypto currencies. This will make kids aware of what it is about and how to work with it. It's not much but it is start of something good.

It might not matter if you let a kid play a game about bitcoin, maybe once in a while they will ask what is bitcoin? You should answer it with a simple do not be too complicated explain bitcoin to child. Maybe they will start to understand little by little

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?

The kids nowadays are more likely loved the technologies in their environment so I think the parents must teach their kids on how they will handle the technology. Because Bitcoin uses the technology as a medium for any transaction and they must manage it efficiently. And to teach bitcoin to the children teach them what bitcoin is as simple to complicated. And also do not force the child to accept some serious information let them pull themselves to that idea. So that they will accept it.

I don't think you have to. I have eight year old twins boy and a girl. And when we've had discussions about Fiat, myself in their mother have never actually sat down and attempted to teach them about money in that way. However, somewhere between there school. Watching us. And personal experience. They have learned enough to have a basic understanding of money. When I say basic understanding, I mean the fact that he knows that a $2 item is equal to 2 $1 items. I think it will be the same with Bitcoin and I have still not 100% positive that it will be necessary
If Bitcoin becomes big enough and accepted enough they will pick up on it just like they did Fiat. I agree on the statement that let them explorer themselves.  This way they can learn with interest.
i think it is too much important for bitcoin to be big enough. because very soon bitcoin is going to become common and therefore it is too much important for bitcoin to be big enough so that we do not face any transaction problems.

Correct. Bitcoin will replace the dollar soon and became a legal currency in the world. Then all the transactions are made by Bitcoin itself. Henceforth, kids should know about the future currency which are they going to use.At first you have to teach what is bitcoin? It's a digital currency. Then How we can use it?!We can use bitcoin like currency.

I have to respect what you believe but it seems it will not be the trend in the future, bitcoin is not a currency like dollars or any
country's currency. Out government legalize it as a payment system and I am already happy with that because it is only its limitation.

It would be hard to teach something to someone if he/she is not really interested into it, so basically before we can fully teach someone especially kids about bitcoin we should give him/her example of what and how can bitcoin  influence you as a person in that way maybe a kid will have interest in learning bitcoin
yes that is right that interest is the basic thing in every field of life, you can succeeded in such thing where you have good interest you will also get good experience there. but if you do not have any interest then you can not make any money there.

You can argue with the theory of acceleration, but for me it is proven fact. Our children are growing up in a very different setting and the modern world much faster than our time. If children get interested in bitcoin after a few months they will be able to teach you. All the time. The school does not tolerate violence and therefore do not need to force the issue.

In this world where money is literally the answer to everything, simply telling your kid that bitcoin will make him rich if he do it right will make him interested. Once he is actually making money from it, he will even be more inspired to continue. But I wouldn't really recommend that. What I recommend is that you try to persuade him by telling him that bitcoin knowledge will save him from poverty. With the knowledge of bitcoin and a strong foundation of understanding the economy (both macro and micro), there's really a low chance for your kid to become a society's follower and live a mediocre life.

Once your kid understood bitcoin and he knows the economy as well, he wouldn't be like those regular day job workers or office workers that have to work their whole life just to be able to pay for a house completely. He can be a business owner himself because he understood how the economy works or have an awesome job because he would know where to apply and what position.

tl;dr: Bitcoin also teaches about economy and that can save your kid from poverty. Tell him that and he will be interested. No one wants to stay poor.

Children are not of adequate age to learn about bitcoin. Want to understand bitcoin need a good amount of economic knowledge. Children are not aware enough about the use and management of bitcoin

First of all, teaching bitcoin to kids isn't a good idea sir/ma'am. As a kid they must focus on their study rather than being expose in this world. Its your responsibility as a parent. The best age to deal with bitcoin is when they are teenager already.

It’s easier for kids to grasp new ideas while their minds are still impressionable. So teaching kids about bitcoin can be easy. One could integrate Bitcoin in a kid’s daily life by talking about it and showing it how it works. Kids these days are tech-savvy, you can teach them how to buy something form the Internet by using a digital currency, and they will immediately understand. It’s important to also answer their questions and being patient about.

I think someone could create a game about it , a game composed of story telling which as they progress they get to know more about different angles of bitcoin world which could be useful when they grew up Smiley

Then if they got it, they will focus more on bitcoin than studying? Teaching bitcoin to a CHILD is not a good idea, even though its part of innovating with technology It may distract them for the endeavor that they may accomplished some day , bitcoin includes too technical transactions that a cjild may not absorb easily, you are wasting, good promotion wrong time ,is a wrong thing.

I like to teach others what I knew about bitcoin. But if I were to teach “kids”, I think it will not be that easy. As far as I know, kids only love to play. So there is only 10% of chance out of 100% that kids will be interested on it. Bitcoin need to be learn first. Compare in school, they have many subject, but they only love P.E, what more in bitcoin? It will be their only subject in me, so for sure I can’t caught their attention. But I will not blame them. They are just kids. They must play and not force them to earn.

I think that children need to create some kind of game connected with bitcoins, but do not start them at once with serious earnings, because they will not understand yet.

Bitcoin is a little bit hard to teach in a child. The blockchain technology is very complicated. If some adults cant understand how it works. You need a little bit extra effort to explain this to a kid. You need some diagrams, images, videos.

Its not that easy to teach a kid about bitcoin because kids this day are more into games but if i will to teach them i would start telling them that its more than just a game, that they can also earn and they can also improve there ability to understand things like this..

yes that is right that it is no easy to teach bitcoin to kinds.  in fact children always like to take interest in games, i think they will never like to involve themselves in such a complicated process. i think they should teach about bitcoin when bitcoin become too much popular and when become usable like fiat currency in local shops.

Even if they would be intereted in BTC, they are not useful. They don't have great incomes and wouldn't know how and when to invest or save. They just want to have fun and don't give a shit about responsibilities.

I think we can teach child play a game and earning Bitcoin, it look like when kids play a game and earning their score, but I not think we can teach children know Bitcoin is a Digital cash or Cryptocurrencies, wait they grow up and be capable of realizing it

The limits of their understanding is the limit of their world.
Of course we can't teach a mere child about block chain and stuff and how trading work if they are below 7 or 8 ( if the child is above average then he will barely scratch the surface ). Personality is the best foundation that we can teach. From the use of money and what money can do in a good way or in a bad way or how can we view for the kids the power of money.
We must instill in their hearts that it's not always about wealth in the end. The adventure is what matters and what you've done in that adventure.

One way is to expose the kids to some YouTube videos related to BTC (there are really good and informative ones out there). Once that is done then maybe make them read some news about BTC, how it works, and how it affects the lives of the people. Also, teaching them hands (like how to transact) on might be a good way to make them familiar about BTC.

Also, the benefits and advantages as well as the disadvantages of BTC should be mentioned and explained to them so that they can try to decide for themselves if BTC will be beneficial to them.

There a lot of ways to educate kids if they are really ready and interested at the same time.
Nowadays it is easy to find information and especially that crypto currency are online currencies we can easily find information
online that will help us to learn and understand it easily.
