How to teach kids about Bitcoin?

Those games that pay off in bitcoins should be introduced to kids. In this way, they will not only have fun but also come across this latest digital currency. Kids have sharper brain so teaching them bitcoins in their childhood would make them act wisely in their practical lives.

Kids aren't supposed to be playing games that involve real money. If you want your kids to have sharper minds, there are a lot more kid friendly ways to do it. I think its too early if you're going to teach kids about btc so probably its best if you keep kids away from it

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

It might be hard for kids to absorb all the information about bitcoin. Maybe it's better to start with the basic. Kids' have a very short span of time when focusing. Just let them know how good it is to save and earn money while playing. And the importance of saving money for the future. But, it's not really ideal to teach kids about money at young age. They should be enjoying their time as a kid.

I got an idea.  What if we could do some games and the price would be bitcoins.  For example, a game of like the grandma collecting coins that you just have to get over the obstacles.  The amount of coins he get from the games would have a corresponding amount of bitcoin as a reward for them.  With the arrangement of telling them first about bitcoin and some introduction of what bitcoin is.  Then maybe they will become interested.

To teach kids about bitcoin is talk to him always and explain so he can easily understand. First thing to do is show him that you earn in bitcoin and you invest. Kids must know a lot of knowledge because this is the very important in ourselves. Its not easy to teach kids about bitcoin we needs only patience if we explain to kids. We must responsible to teach our kids so that someday they will know already and have an idea.

Teaching kids to something new will be easy because children can be likened like blank paper that can be colored with any color. First of all I personally prefer to teach the children how to save well and correctly in the local bank, bitcoin will be easy to understand if children already have basic knowledge about finance and banking system work.

My 9 and 12-year-old sons have been exposed to bitcoin for 3 years. We had a blast winning the Old to Satoshi video contest in 2014. They aren’t' power users yet, but more importantly they're on the edges of the conversation everyday. I've been thinking about the best way to teach my sons about money for a long time and developed the Magic Money system to incentivize their investing. They earn their own money and spend it on as many things as their budget allows while reinvesting in a perpetual system. It's like a modified 3 jar system where they split up cash into save, spend and share jars while magically receiving "tooth fairy-like" interest in a 4th jar. Old rail banking discriminates them from getting a checking account and Visa debit card so their learning is limited.

Teaching kids about the digital growth is not that required at present, because this makes them focus towards the negative side if not guided in a proper way. Better is to teach them and the rest needs to be left in their hand, whether to use it or not. Hope bitcoin will be more successful.

I would tell my kids that now we are living in era of centralized economy. But development of computer technologies gives humanity a unique opportunity to get rid of government dictatorship. Certainly our kids will be living in economy of another kind, with God will.

I disagree, i really think that we should teach kids about bitcoins. Let them think that it is money and how to be smart with it, like that we should save money instead of spending for silly things that we don't need and such. I feel that bitcoins might be easier for them to understand since you can have them in your tablet and such.

Yup, in someday they will enough age for learning and understand knowledge about Bitcoin, Blockchain technology, Economic and Finance on the world, we do not need explain very soon like now make them feeling confused.

Wow that is amazing, when i have children i hope to be a father like you, i think that if all childrens were educated by that, people would be more interested in investing and earning money, instead on a earn-spend scheme.
regarding to OP question, i think the only way to do this is by educating our childrens like this guy does.

I don't have kids at a moment but even in future when I will be having kids I will never teach them about bitcoins at that early age and will ask them to have fun in their childhood days and concentrate on their studies as I don't think that it would be an best time for them to introduce to bitcoins.

There is no need to hurry to tell the children about bitkoin. This is a complicated technology and they will not be able to fully understand it. And in general children should not be interested in the economy. It is better to start in high school.  Let children be children.
