That is some sloppy performance from South Africa and their performance when it comes to ICC tournaments are always like this and India bowled and fielded really well to restrict them below 200 runs and in return India started safely and even if rain interrupts the match India will be winning this match.
Yes, poor performance from South Africa. Somehow, they just managed 191 runs only. India keep safe batting till now that ensure get the easy winning. So far, India require another 61 runs with 9 wickets and 23 overs remaining. Easily get this. Can't really decode the mind set of SA , I think they panicked because 3 run outs? You need not get runs that eagerly in such important match . They should have played bit more patiently  I was expecting a big epic match here . Indians move on to semi-finals and face Bangladesh there . South Africa and New Zealand were always the teams which panic or I guess they just can't handle the pressure in big tournaments. Sad to see that West Indies is not below 8th rank, they would have given a good fight. Tomorrow's quarter final match is interesting now. South african team may give the tough competition to other teams but I don't think New zealand because they have lost one game with the Bangladesh team poorly. Windies always rock in Champions trophy because of the key players such as Gayle, brovo, narine. If you have check the history, you may understand that. |

India made the play without much difficulty and won it. Most of the time South Africa looks strong, but it's their bad luck causing them to leave the tournament. |

SA openers played well, but after a couple of runouts made South Africa make low score in this game. This is really a sad news for SA. till today they do not win single ICC trophy. And they are number one in ICC cricket ranking. Bad luck and congrats to India. Yes, India really deserves to play in finals. India is going to play aginst Bangladesh in semifinal match I think here India will win. Let's wait and see who will come to the other finalist. |

It was a definite win for India today, tomorrow its Sri Lanka vs Pakistan which is quite unpredictable. Sri Lanka has a good chance, they even played their last game quite impressively.
And India would be facing Bangladesh most probably, so it should be good opportunity to reach the finals for India, though Bangladesh played very well, they are inconsistent.

Awesome performance by India today. SA team did not plan their game since the start and the openers Amla and Kock were playing too slowly. The first 10 overs itself should have got them 60+ runs but they failed there and then even though they had wickets in hand, they couldn't manage to get runs. Those run outs were immature ones. In the end, a low score and a strong batting lineup helped the Indian team and glad to see them qualify for the semis.

What a great performance by India to easily beat South Africa which was one of the top teams to win tis tournament and now they are in danger of missing out and opens up the door for either Pakistan or Sri Lanka who play next. Sri Lanka have more of a chance as their NRR is less then Pakistan but still Sri Lanka would need to win by a fair bit to make it through to the semi finals. Congrats to India on making it through.

India played really well for the win,looked helpless against the young Srilankan batsmen but today they were able to control the mighty South African batting line up,now India has a chance to lift the cup along with England and i think everyone is performing really well in their given day.

Yesterday they were good at the start but towards the end, they didn't play good and finish well in batting. I don't think we can blame the bowlers because they didn't have a good total to defend it. It was a complete disasters performance from batsman particulars middle order and lower order batsman. Today got an another very important match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan. Whoever will win this match mostly need to play against England in the semis. Both teams are almost equally strong but SL players are more consistent than Pakistan players. I think SL may outperform in today's match. |

My bets are on Srilanka, they have yet to collapse in this tournament, on the other hand Pakistan has collapsed in their two matches. Anything above 250 from Srilanka should get them the game. But Pakistan is an unpredictable team, so anything can happen. Should be an interesting match to watch.

My bets are on Srilanka, they have yet to collapse in this tournament, on the other hand Pakistan has collapsed in their two matches. Anything above 250 from Srilanka should get them the game. But Pakistan is an unpredictable team, so anything can happen. Should be an interesting match to watch.
It is going to be ,loser heads home kind of match and Pakistan being the unpredictable side they are it is really difficult to choose which team is going to win,Pakistan has a good bowling line up and Srilanka have a young batting line up and it is interesting to see which team is going to take up the challenge. |

Yes, it does look like that but there are many other factors in this important match. Pakistani bowlers are in form and can be showing some determination today. Hope Sri Lanka will win. Mine supporting to Srilanka team will win. because the team performance is better than Pakistan. If Srilanka bat first and score more than 275 runs Pakistan will not chase that much score because the players don't have the patience, if 2 wickets collapse in first 10 overs they will loose one by one wicket. In another side Srilanka team they slowly maintaining the score example they were chasing against India team more than 300 scores and win the game. |
