I'm a positive Bitcoin believer that someday it will become the new world currency and if that happens, or any currency will no longer be useful at all isn't? But I in our time now I cannot say it will be happen, because it is still dollar the number one currency in the entire world now. |

I think still hard dollar is the strongest currency now, they controlled almost 70% of the world economy, foreign exchange all countries a lot in store in the dollar that it took a long time to defeat the dollar.

Correct even bitcoin would have huge value and more popular this could be still an option and not to be a primary currency to used by many people in this world. Fiat will remains as fiat and never been replace by digital currency which can only used in online transactions. |

Even decades or even century, bitcoin will never replace the dollar because dollar is too powerful to be replaced and before you think that bitcoin could possibly replace dollar look to the governments first, do you think they will allow bitcoin to overtake their power and dictate the world of financial system by dollar? I think they will not allow that so there is no chance for bitcoin to do that replacement A century is quite a lot of time really We can't say with certainty whether Bitcoin or the US dollar (or even the US as such) will still exist in so much time. Wtf, we can't even say that either will still be around in just a decade (the latter more concerns Bitcoin, of course). Note that Bitcoin itself doesn't need to compete out the dollar since the latter can die on its own or just become a second grade currency like Venezuelan bolivar (the Zimbabwean dollar being the extreme but this is a big distance). The same can well happen to Bitcoin too, obviously bitcoin are part of technology and everybody knows that technology always grow faster even than the clock , you can not really underestimate on something like this isn't it? and i agree with you that bitcoin doesn't need to replace any currency , it could run and used together. nobody can estimate for how long it will takes, or even it will really happened? we don't know. |

To be very Frank 😀, it's not possible within 50 years.
Dollar has already gained it's acceptability and credibility though it has some fluctuations which doesn't make any sense. People are not heavily aware of fluctuating of any currency, they're just gathering and spending. Some time they'rehappy sometimes they're not happy to purchase in their regular life. At the end of the day, they are going to save some dollars to maintain their life, Because they have faith on it.
So it's really tough to replace by Bitcoin very soon.

No it is not possible yet because behind Dollar there are many super powers who control Dollar and they don't want bitcoin to replace Dollar because bitcoin is decentralized currency and if this is happens then they loose their power. No it can't be. Dollar is very powerful and yet they will just let it? And in terms of legality and uses then dollar is on the upper hand. Bitcoin can be used like dolars but as we know Bitcoin has no concrete form which is one of the reasons why it cannot defeat dollars with many more reasons. Absence of physical form does not matter. The dollar also has a digital form, but it does not lose popularity because of this. The reason is different. Bitcoin will not replace the dollar for the reason that the government will not allow it That true even i wanted dollar to be kind of replaced with bitcoin but seeing the current conditions of it i feel it would just be a disaster as currently bitcoin is used around the world online by it's holders but if everyone in us starts using it the network would crash. |

Even the price of bitcoin increases, it is decentralized and the government isn't willing to adopt this type of payment system or as a currency because they will be hard time to manipulate it. And instead of manipulating it for their people, the whales are the ones that can manipulate the government. |

I would say that it's impossible. Even the price of bitcoin increases, it is decentralized and the government isn't willing to adopt this type of payment system or as a currency because they will be hard time to manipulate it. I can't believe that someone can say that bitcoin can be replace dollar for me its impossible since bitcoin is just use as alternative payment just like other payment method like vcc use to buy something online. bitcoin is just an internet money there is no physical coin for bitcoin ., and the price of bitcoin is not always stable so if people use it as majority possible that worldwide market will refuse. Not a good idea to replace dollar with bitcoin.. |

No, because as you can see that the bitcoin is an online money or digital currency so by that, it means that it needs a requirements before you will use it for example a internet and a gadget almost all of that have that but some are didn't have that the poor section of the society so by that it means that not all people can use the bitcoin and that is the reason why bitcoin can't replace any fiat.

Yes, bitcoin without the Internet can completely disappear and because of this can not become a substitute for the dollar. If over time it can operate without the Internet, then it will be possible to talk about the possible ousting of the dollar. |

But these discoveries don't in any way guarantee that they can and will be used in real life, or there is much left to discover at all in the future. For example, the nuclear fusion has been known maybe for 100 years already, but we still didn't advance past using it only in thermonuclear weapons, and it may take another 100 years till we can use nuclear fusion for producing energy. In other words, no one can say whether the technology will move ahead as fast as it has been moving for the last 20 years |

Yes, bitcoin without the Internet can completely disappear and because of this can not become a substitute for the dollar. If over time it can operate without the Internet, then it will be possible to talk about the possible ousting of the dollar. we can't really know what will happen. it may go two ways. if we progress more in the future then possibly btc can emerge as the number one currency used. if we succumb to war and most that we know now disappears, then I don't think even the dollar would have much worth to that kind of future. |

I wish bitcoin could replace dollar but if wishes were horses, beggars would ride so I would say no to the possibility of bitcoin replacing dollar in 25 years but yes I believe that after dollar bitcoin will emerge as one of widely accepted and popular currency in the next 25 years and not in 25 years maybe sooner than that.
